So

Asimov was really out there in the 50s giving the illusion of free choice to his readers by writing gay people solving mysteries in space (for grown-ups) and gay people solving mysteries in space (for kids)

Headcanon: When Raych and Manella couldn't be at home due to different errands they called Yugo to stay home babysitting Wanda.

Sometimes I think about that one bit in "The Robots of Dawn" where Daneel explains to Elijah that on Aurora there are Specialized Robots to raise kids, and neither him or Giskard have that ability. And then I think that Giskard sort of raised Vasilia.

Imagine when Vasilia was really tiny, Han Fastolfe going to Giskard "Oh I'm going a few days out for a scientific Conference please keep an eye on Vasilia" and Giskard Panicking. Fastolfe comes back home three days later and Giskard is now "Babysitter Supreme"
