my fanmade backstory for Magolor is that he used to be in a magic academy in Halcandra that he's been constantly outcasted in, before he causes a dangerous magic accident which gets him hated and hunted down by the people, and this causes him to steal the Lor Starcutter and run away from Halcandra, and him stealing the Master Crown was to try and rebel against his kingdom with Estelle (However Estelle doesn't entirely agree with this and causes them to split ways)

so..what I'm trying to say is..Magolor singing Defying Gravity from Wicked?? (Specfically the movie version because I watched it in theaters and it still lives in my head rent free)

Estelle/Estellor lore drop! This time more info on her weapons

Estelle is my Kirby oc I ship with Magolor, and I developed her powers/her past with Magolor a lot more

(this is based on my hc of Magolor and Halcandran lore as a whole)

Estelle was a princess of Halcandra, and Magolor was a student at a magic academy under the royal family. Estelle was treated like the black sheep of the family because she was born without powers, and took interested in science rather then magic. Magolor always felt pressured to be the "perfect student" in the academy. They became friends thanks to them feeling outcasted by everyone else around them, and longed for adventure elsewhere. A magic accident caused by Magolor labelled him as a "monster" and made him run away with Estelle, stealing the Lor Starcutter.

Estelle found happiness with Magolor for a while, exploring different planets and expressing herself with new inventions, but Magolor had other plans. He heard the Master Crown protected by Landia (Bc the Master Crown does corrupt the people who use it and amplify the darkness in them yk) and became vengeful against Halcandra. He fought Landia and tried to take the Master Crown, much to Estelle's dismay. In a fit of anger, she too called Magolor a "monster" for taking the Master Crown, just like his teachers at the academy. Feeling betrayed by the one person he thought accepted her, he fled to Popstar with a broken Starcutter, kickstarting the events of RTDL. She chases after him, and now does whatever she can to stop Magolor from getting the crown, just as long as those Popstar folk he gaslighted to help him stop getting in her way..

(Yes the events of RTDL happen and Magolor dies/comes back to redeem himself but I'm horrible and I decide to make my "selfship" an angsty breakup actually but also also, Estelle never got around to confessing her feelings because she thought he would only see her as a friend and then fell out of love with him after the Master Crown incident, so technically, they never got a chance to be in love lololol)

As for her weapons, she has a "Gear Rod" that she created by herself, and it's a staff that she uses to bash people around, occasionally she can use it to fire electricity blasts but like 90% it just..bonks people (Both in purpose and because she likes it) She also has potions of the different elements which she throws like minecraft splash potion

You and your F/O are in a store and you spot two things next to eachother. One of them has your color and the other your F/Os, so you say "Look it's us!" and they agree

Here is my old Kirby I dusted off and reworked, I may or may not add Magolor to my f/o list now

Long ass dump about her backstory under cut (Mostly based off my own hc about Halcandra/magolor here but)

The spunky, lost princess of Halcandra, Estelle was simultaneously outcasted yet pressured into her role of being the princess because of her lack of magic. Tomboyish, feisty and not at all fond of the royal life, she met Magolor, one of the royal mages working in her castle. The two of them became friends and decided to run away from Halcandra, finding the Lor Starcutter in the process and sailing the galaxy. She was always more into science then royal duties, and together with Magolor's inventing skills, the two of them spent their time exploring the galaxy and creating their little gadgets, even sharing childish dreams of starting an amusement park together. It's the life she always wanted, free from all of her burden and pressures of her royal life. Over time however Magolor becoming more and more obsessed with the Master Crown and taking over Halcandra. Magolor too grew up believing that he was never good enough, but he wanted revenge and overthrow the kingdom, as well as the entire universe. As much as she hated her parents Estelle didn’t want that. Believing that he became more power hungry, she left Magolor as he tried to fight Landia by himself and lost that leads into the events of RTDL canon. (breakup arc)

To Kirby and friends during the events of RTDL, she probably looked more like an antagonist in preventing them from getting the Energy Spheres/Ship Parts, but this was supposed to be her preventing Magolor from getting the Master Crown all along, usually with the help of the Sphere Doomers. Over time, they would learn about her and Magolor's true goals. Being with Kirby allowed her to make up with her parents, and she thought that maybe Magolor would do the same. But alas, the Master Crown controlled him like the dangerous object she warned him about. And thus, he had to be struck down. She tried to move on, making a life for herself in Halcandra and Dream Land and helping the residents of both worlds.

..That was until Magolor came back. He did apologize, and while she didn't accept completely, they decided to get back together as friends (Or at least Estelle tried to, cause maybe Mags is starting to realize his feelings for her too late-). Estelle was probably there when Magolor helped Kirby and the rest of the Dream Friends fight void, and now helps him run theme park they always wanted in Merry Magoland.

She’s very sassy, tomboyish and spunky. As an alchemist, her abilities would likely be a repackage version of Doctor, but more "celestial", and she makes the same elemental potions the ability gives you. And also instead of pills she throws gears that can cut things!

She has Dreamy Gear AU Kirby's hat because I made her 3 years ago and I thought "what if Dreamy Gear was a game and the designs from that novel turned into an original character", then I turned her into this. Fun fact, Magolor made the bag she carries with her, along with her scarf

(and she carried them with her to remember him during their breakup arc)

Are you a selfshipper who has/watches kdramas? Imagine you and your f/o as the leads in your favorite one personally I like to imagine King The Land with Seol as Yoona and Aphelios as Lee Junho who can't stand it, along with Alune as the secretary, chaebol romance ftw!!

I recently went back on my Kirby Star Allies file (fun fact, I've still to this day, never 100% completed it or beat Soul Melter EX) and I realized how much I loved Magolor from when Return To Dreamland Deluxe came out? I may or may not had a small crush on him back then..and now I'm thinking of dusting off an old kirby oc I had back then to ship with him again..maybe

These two characters have absolutely no reason to be together because they have no interaction together but..Juno x Lifeweaver (I'm saying this mostly because I played this combo with me as Juno and a really sweet Lifeweaver on my team and it went fucking crazy)

It doesn't even have to romantic, even platonically, they would just vibe but I have this cute scenario of Lifey showing Juno all the flowers and plants that she couldn't see or grow on Mars (Imagine if they have an in game interaction like this in the future!!)

Third Juno post but more serious this time. As someone who struggles with anxiety (generalized anxiety disorder) I find Juno speaking to me a lot.

Her respawn voice lines where she's panicking or forgetting to breathe alluded to something like a panic attack, and now after watching her cinematic, it definietely is a panic attack. Her anxiety makes her act out of panic or impulse when she kicked the rock the first time, which then leads to her becoming even more panicked when it doesn't work, (Something I find the hardest about anxiety, although there's too much I hate about anxiety to count, lets be real.)

She keeps on overthinking and panicking about things going wrong (That respawn voice when she says she's done for, before realizing she's still here, it's one of my favorites) just like I do with my anxiety

And seeing her get through it with her mother reassuring her was just..so sweet, she doesn't love her any less because of her anxiety, even when that causes her to mess up, she never gets mad and only loves her and just wants the best for her (I wish my parents were like that, or being as half as supportive with my anxiety as she did for hers)

At the end where she makes it back to the ship and her entire family/her mother claps for her, made me so happy, it's clear that they love her no matter how scared or unfamilar she might be and I just love her for that 🥺 I really hope they aren't dead in the lore, she deserves to be happy with her parents and on Earth too

another casualty… what a pity

I think Juno's another support I want to start practicing, I tried practicing her and she was super fun! I really love her right click move although I have a habit of spamming it everytime it's not on cool down, I think you need to space her moves a lot to get the most out of her (Although thats a problem I have with almost all other characters, using my abilities all at the same time usually out of panic). I always wanted to play a flying character but I just couldn't click with them, but Juno definitely does. Her ult was a bit confusing, but it's really good for pushes

Zenyatta+Juno combo is also insane, giving the Zen more speed with hyper ring and having two HUGE aoe healing ultimates is insane and I think as a Zen main I would love playing with her on my teams

Also also, her voicelines about being scared and anxious like YES, I too forget to breathe cause I get too scared of things fucking anxiety (self deprication)
