They is valid
Hi Diana! I am having a really hard time learning all the tarot meanings and interpretations. I don't trust online resources too much, since they give different meanings. How did you master your knowledge of the tarot and how are you able to receive a meaning from the cards so well? For example I asked the cards if perhaps I don't know how to listen to my intuition, and the 8 of wands jumped out - I don't know how to interpret that
Do not be afraid of coming across different meanings. They are likely to be all correct. What you can do is write down those that resonate most with you. And stick to them. Later on, when a hand-picked meaning is not applicable to a reading, your subconscious will bring up another interpretation you read somewhere on one occasion.
Your tarot deck itself is the best teacher you will have. Perform a weekly reading. Take a photo of the spread. By the end of the week, look at how the cards manifested. Was the Ten of Cups a dinner invitation from your parents? Or a wedding proposal from your beloved? That is tarot’s meanings being taught to you by the cards themselves.
Always interpret a card within the context of the reading. Symbolized by speeding arrows, the Eight of Wands means an abundance of communication. In the context of your question, it is saying that your intuition is just fine, but your mind is too chaotic, hence unable to hear it. Breathe and slow down, darling. Tarot should be empowering, not overwhelming.
A spell that can be cast at any moon phase or any time of the day to turn your room into a magick-inducive environment. The perfect spell for baby witches who want to start with spellwork. I created this when I was 12 (2006) and it has been 11 years since then and it’s still effective.
Recommended to Cast During: Any moon phase at any time of the day.
Colors: Black and White
Needed:
🌿 2 Candles (either white or black)
🌙 An Athame (or any pointed object for engraving a candle)
🌿 A Wand (or any stick that is made from any natural material such as twigs, pencils, wooden chopsticks, selenite crystal, clear quartz wand)
To Cast:
🌿 Light one of the candles.
🌙 Start engraving a protection sigil or any symbolism that you dedicate with strength and protection on the unlit candle.
🌿 Twirl your wand around your engraved candle and say,
“Go away negativity and sway away. Positivity, if you wish to enter, you may.”
🌿 Light the engraved candle and carry it.
🌙 Bring the engraved candle with you and light the four corners of your room moving clockwise (start with north)
🌿 Meditate for 5 minutes after (chakra meditation is recommended or plain floor grounding is alright; that is to lie down completely on the floor)
What To Expect:
🌿 Your room will turn into a much more relaxing environment.
🌙 Negative energy that was collected through time will be diminished.
🌿 Better sleep, better naps, better magick.
🌙 Stronger magick especially for healing and love.

What other elements do you work with?
Do you work with the four: water, earth, air, and fire? Or do you have other elements you include (ie. spirit, metal)?
