it’s been almost two months since I finished reading The Secret History by Donna Tartt yet it still overwhelms me that until now I can’t sit down and write a proper review about it 🙈 there’s just so much to say (good things, only good things) but I just haven’t found the perfect structure to articulate it in a review. hopefully I get to write one soon though 💞

“You began to love all the women inside you and you began to nurse her back into life without apologizing for how she heals herself.”

I’m usually more of a fiction reader, but lately I’ve been drawn to a few nonfiction titles, most of them related to history. Maybe with all this extra time I can actually put some time into absorbing all of this new information - I’ve always been interested in learning about lesser known figures so this might be the perfect opportunity. Which do you prefer?
