When you're talking about trans men, you need to remember that we're not truly viewed as men to many cis people. We do experience misogyny, because transphobes don't see us as men. We're either women in men's clothes or freaks that are neither man or woman but once-women. We are the targets of misogyny, not collateral damage. Transphobes who are aware we are trans men and comprehend that do not respect us and will be both misogynistic and transphobic. This is because they mistake us for women, but because they know we are trans men.

Varric's cut lines in Veilguard

In another feat of ME2 similarities, Varric apparently used to have a role similar to Kelly Chambers, telling Rook about new letters and to check on companions when they have new quests available. I don't think these lines can be heard in the game now, but they still remain in the files.

Interestingly enough, one of the lines about the mail features a mention of the group's base being "on the back of a giant Fade creature." Lighthouse may have changed a lot during the development!

EDIT: Someone messaged me to say that they heard one of the lines about Lucanis in their playthrough, so the companion lines may actually trigger in the game. Probably not the letters, though, since Rook doesn't have a letter desk, and only the Missives section in the Library interface.

Bellara:
