today i learnt hubble was accidentally launched with bad eyesight and had to be given glasses
pretty much a continuation of my last post
i tried playing with the colors a little different than I usually do, and i think it turned out pretty well
no actual context, just juice going on about something over morning coffee/tea
comfort art because by god i am not feeling comforted rn
new month new hyperfix and it's space probes this time. feeling slightly insane.
no better way to deal with a brainrotting interest than to make human desings of non-human chatacters! and don't get me wrong, i love the androids and objectheads and just straight up satellites, but please understand I'm too insane about them currently to be drawing machinery

hi Guys?! so like what if the james webb space telescope was in 17776 ? what would their relationship be with the hubble space telescope in that universe
im thinking like. maybe the trope where like. they talk shit to each other but around other people they’re like “yeah hubble/webb is pretty goated” and “are you really trying to insult my bro. only i can do that” ,,,, like siblings idk..
or maybe they’re like best friends or sm, whenever one takes an image the other is like “HOLY SHIT this is so cool!!”
or maybe it would be more like a one sided thing (then hubble is the guy who doesn’t rlly gaf)
webb could be the self absorbed guy nobody likes that always talks about taking superior images, while hubble js tries to watch the damn football game
or, webb looking up to hubble, like, a lot, despite getting more praise and stuff. hubble is past the um. attention and glory, sees webb as equal/better

i reads about the hubble space telescope yesterday with friend and i think that hubble is so cool man,,, like
imagine being called a great observatory?? thats like the coolest title ever guys
imagine being the favorite child out of the 4 great observatories!!!
imagine having the whole scientific community fight for your funding (they kinda ragebaited us but id say it shows how much we’d do for hubble)
imagine having 5!! STS missions dedicated to taking care of you (ik thats what it was built for but still!!)
imagine originally having a lifespan of 15 years but living much longer cuz of how much you mean to everyone (HUBBLE DAY IN 4 DAYS FYI!!)
imagine being so cool you appear in a “football article”
and of course hubble giving us the coolest space images ever in return!! hubble is awesome. everyone say “thank you hubble”
