I was deleting some pictures and came across some old ace attorney art in twitter folder i don’t think i posted here yet.

Strange how i didn’t really like my art back then but looking back now it used to be so much fun.

Why did Edgeworth keep Gant's things?

Okay so I was looking for reference images for the desk Edgeworth has in the Chief Prosecutor's Office and I pulled this image from the WikiFandom page on him:

This is from a cutscene in Dual Destinies, ep. 5, before Edgeworth first appears. Now look at this image, from RftA:

See something similar? Well, yes, for some reason Edgeworth kept Gant's desk and chair (except that he had the chair's green upholstery switched to his color because he's a dork). I brought this up in the narumitsu discord server but no one could come up with a convincing reason. I mean, why the hell would Edgeworth go through the trouble of getting those two things specifically taken from the Police Department to the Prosecutor's Office?

I can understand him keeping his car because, well, it's his car. But why would he keep something that was Gant's and subsequently has connections to SL-9 while not having any particular emotional attachment to it?

Anyway, just a weird thing I noticed.

Phoenix should get to have a weird pet

Okay so I had this weird dream where Phoenix, Miles and Apollo enter the WAA and there's just an albino burm chilling there. Phoenix goes "Hey little guy :D", picks it up, the snake goes "Ssss :)" and Phoenix turns to Miles to ask "can we keep it?".

I gave basically this exact same summary on the nrmt discord server and a few people agreed with me that Phoenix should get to have a burm. At this point he's already with Miles and managed to convince him to reform a room of their home so the snake has a big enclousure and appropriate care.

Her name's Buttermilk and she's Phoenix's second (official) child :]

phoenix is absolutely unhinged before and after the trilogy. in his early twenties he's a pathetic little theatre kid who eats glass and in his thirties he's the cryptid of the legal world who plays poker in a dingy basement and may or may not be the chief prosecutor's sugar baby. and i absolutely love that in the midst of this drastic transition, there is a point in his life--the three years spanning the trilogy-- where he's the most normal person ever
