This spawned from an AU I’m writing with a friend over on my RP blog, and is the exact reason you should never hand me AUs. Because I will start doodling and never see the light of day again.
This is an AU that takes place after the fight with Mustache Girl. When Hat Kid turned back time to change the world back to normal, the Conductor didn’t revive with the other characters. She bends the rules to bring him back, but (unknowingly at first) turns the Conductor into a time paradox, who now exists and doesn’t exist at the same time. The Conductor has retained all of his past memories, but every trace of his existence on the planet has been completely erased, to the point where Hat Kid is the only person who remembers him or who he was in his past life. As the days go by, Hat Kid and the Conductor slowly begin to realize what’s happening in this altered timeline and how much it’s changing who they are.
The idea’s not totally fleshed out yet (we just made this not too long ago) but I was so in love with the idea that I had to make up a concept art doodle for it~ Hope you like my bird boy in his cool new get-up!

After the events of AHIT, Mu was thrown into jail for causing the end of time and a failed assault attempt, which backfired and resulted in her losing a leg. 2 years later, Mu escaped with the help of Timmy and is seeking revenge.

After like two months of procrastinating, I have finally completed the first portion of the transcription for an AHIT rp with @fedoraspooky (Snatcher), @madeasubstitute (Vanessa), and me (The Prince). We started this thing March 20th and it’s still going on. This part is 54K words and 118 pages long and it’s only up day 10 of rping. Without further ado, the link to the novel of a google doc.

OHOOOOO that’s some good angst I wonder if little Vanessa is good in this universe or was corrupted when she found out what she did
Little Vanessa is good! She was still corrupted when she realized what she did, but instead of being quite the super bitch, she’s just a really, really sad and fearful child. Like regular Vanessa, she isn’t always cognizant to the world around her, often not realizing what had happened and thinking that things should be how they used to be before everything went wrong. So she doesn’t understand why they’re not and why she’s all alone. Other times she is fully aware of she had done and keeps herself away from others.
After the accident, she ran off tearfully into the woods because killing someone with her magic, no matter how accidental it was or how sorry she was, would definitely warrant severe punishment maybe even get her killed. She stayed away for a few days, clueless as to what was happening to the rest of Subcon before she carefully decided to returns back to the manor. She was to out of it to register the state of the forest around her right away and that it really, really shouldn’t be snowy and icy. Stealth had to be taken to avoid whatever the new glowly noodley things were that had for some reason taken to inhabiting the village. It was only when she entered the manor that she was struck by just how badly she messed up when she came face to face with the frozen forms of everyone within.
Currently, she hides herself away in the manor, it being the only place left in Subcon that she feels any semblance of security in. Both for herself and for others.
I'm torn about baby Snatcher because on one hand, he's adorable, but on the other hand, knowing Snatcher's backstory makes this a big Oh No...
Oh No indeed. And no sdjkfhasj the cliff things was just a joke.
This is what I’ve come up with so far for how baby Snatcher came to be:
The young prince wished to see little Vanessa's magic for himself, but she was absolutely forbidden from using her magic within the Manor. So after talking her into it, he helped her sneak out into the woods so she could show him her magic.
They had accidentally spent more time than they realized out there hanging out and playing and the guards were, understandably enough, sent out to find them. The sound of the guard’s approach freaked Vanessa out because she knew she was going to be in really big trouble and this set off her magic, sending ice and snow whipping around her. The prince tried to help calm her down, but in the process was accidentally struck by a large shard of ice and killed. The realization that she had just killed her friend only made Vanessa's freak out even worse and, without even realizing it, her magic lashed out and covered the entirety of Subcon in snow and ice. And we all know how that went.

Since there is no Snatcher to fight in the Subcon Kingdom au, of course the final boss of Subcon in this au is gonna be Queen Vanessa. The prince absolutely deserves to kick some Vanessa butt.

For this instance, the prince manipulates Hat Kid for his own gain. He doesn’t do it maliciously and feels very bad doing so, but he really has no other option because he knows that there isn’t anything he can do on his own to face Vanessa now that she’s free from her confinement.
Prior to this point, he both learned of Time Piece’s time manipulation capabilities and that Hat Kid is able to vaguely sense their location. That last bit, combined with his awareness of how crazy strong and skilled Hat Kid is, leads to him having the final time piece in his possession as he waits outside of the boss arena for Hat Kid, who obviously arrives. He doesn’t outright force her to help him–providing her the option to help if she wants to or not–but he’s familiar enough with her to know she will indeed lend her aid.
Not entirely sure what the battle itself would be like. I have some vague ideas, but currently it is that Hat Kid acts as a distraction, keeping Vanessa’s attention on her to allow the prince to lob blue potions at the queen. On top of that, Hat Kid’s umbrella acts a lot like the mirror shield from Legend of Zelda, protecting against and even repelling Vanessa’s magic attacks. Not certain what exactly happens to Vanessa after she’s defeated, but she’s probably sealed up in some much more permanent manner.
After everything is taken care of and the prince is finally freed from his constant worry and stress about Vanessa, he admits to Hat Kid what he had done and how he used her and is super, super apologetic about the entire thing. He probably will never forgive himself for having done this to her (even though she’s super chill and doesn’t entirely understand what he had done other than the fact that he didn’t go out of his way to try and kill her). Either way, he freely presents the final time piece to Hat Kid and this is where we get this drawing of the prince holding the time piece with Hat Kid hugging him.

Thanks, I’m so glad people have enjoyed him >w<!!! Half of my brain has been taken over by this snake man. I already loved the prince, but making him snek just made me love him even more. Especially imagining the many snakey shenanigans that would inevitably arise. Anyways, have another cute snake prince he always has to blep as the other half of my brain begs that I get more things out for my Subcon Kingdom AU.
My previous part noodles made me want to draw this other part noodle snake boy. Originally I was just thinking he just was born like this, but then @fedoraspooky suggested the even more hilarious idea that he found some magic way to turn himself into the snake he definitely always wanted to be while keeping his arms and used it without any second thought about it and its effects.
