And thank you for the kind words! As for my favourite anime of ALL TIME... that’s a difficult question. It would probably have to be Haikyu!! It was the first anime I watched that really got me into anime/manga :D
Tried drawing in IbisPaint again after a bit over a year

I may or may not have l̶o̶s̶t̶ misplaced my apple pencil so rendering with my finger was absolute torture. 0/10 experience.

Sakura Haruka under the Sakura tree while eating Sakura Mochi
This sounded so sweet so I had to draw it! Just realised I forgot to add in the sakura mochi, but I hope it’s alright.
I rarely draw characters in somewhat detailed backgrounds, so this was definitely outta my comfort zone! Whilst it was difficult, I think adding a background created a sort of narrative to the piece? Overall, I think it turned out pretty well.
Doing artwork like this is always challenging yet fun because you must convey tone and the forms through only using lines and solid shapes. I think it turned out pretty decent
And then the next day he gets a cold…

Rough animation practice from Chapter 108
So, I lied when I said I would not animate any time soon.
Did I spend 2 hours straight hunched over my desk like a shrimp animating this fight scene from the anime last night? Maybe.
Anyways, I was rewatching Wind Breaker (dubbed version - it’s amazing you should check it out!) and saw this fight scene and I just had to practice animating again.
Pose study with Suo I did a while back (but forgot to post it until now)
Is this unfinished? Definitely, but I forgot I drew this until I found it in my Procreate Gallery and was too lazy to finish it 🤣
I hope the shading and the form of clothes look decent, I sorta winged it 😭

When I read this panel I legit got shivers down my spine LOL. I did NOT do the justice for this panel when animating it as I should’ve - can’t wait for the anime adaptation of the KEEL arc, it’s gonna be epic!
This was super fun but tiring to do, that’s why I did more a simpler style leaving out some stuff 😅, let me know your thoughts and if I should do more stuff like this
