Here is a small tip (sort of, it works like 40% of the time). Go to formation and move characters as far as possible from each other (pic 1). That should prevent enemies from using charm\rage\sleep\stone\ext spells on your whole team, and also protect you from some splash attacks! I'd also recommend to make another formation, where all characters are close to the first row and Maki\Ayase\Yukino are in the back row, for ease of using mele attacks. (btw, go into game settings\texture filtering and pick nearest (pic 2), it will clean all these pesky white pixels around characters portraits.)
