Lil art dump! A couple of my Andiversary pieces incorporated multiple drawings and these were the ones I had never posted individually before :)

Andiversary Week Day 8: Fandom Appreciation Day

The photo we all deserved.

Andi Mack and this fandom have come to mean so much to me, I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am. I officially joined the tumblr fandom sometime in March 2019 after 3x12 aired (right before the eternal hiatus 🙃) while disneymack was working on their Paper Crane Project. That was the my first time seeing how incredibly amazing this fandom is and I don’t think I’ll ever forget it.

Maybe I’m being dramatic but I think this show has quite literally changed my life. Thank you guys so much for supporting me and my art over the last year, I hadn’t been inspired to draw in over a decade before this show, and that’s all changed now.

And since today is officially the last day of Andiversary Week (I cant believe how fast it went by!!) thank you so much to everyone who participated, either by creating your own content or reblogging to support or others. This week couldn’t have been amazing as it was without you 💜

Note: I’m not Jewish so I tried to draw Cyrus’s Kippah and tearing exactly as seen in the show, but if I’ve done anything inappropriate or offensive here please let me know and I’ll correct it!

Andiversary Week Day 6: Favorite Parallels

I’ve searched across the universe

Seen many things so wonderful, it’s true

But I’ve never seen nothing like you

It’s pretty rare for the Andi Mack soundtrack to repeat songs, so the fact that they used “Never Seen Nothing Like You” three times over the course of the show feels pretty significant. With Bowie’s love of the universe and his journey to reuniting with Bex and Andi, it’s easy to understand why this song is important to his character arc. The use of this song in each season occurs at a significant moment in Bowie’s developing relationship with Andi and Bex, each one paralleling the last. We go from Bowie’s video where he introduces his daughter whom he has only known for two days but already can’t imagine his life without, to Andi calling him Dad for the first time, and lastly to his first dance with Bex officially as husband and wife.

Andiversary Week Day 5: AUs & Crossovers

Pokémon AU where the GHC+ are Pokémon trainers who travel the world together.

Andi wants to be a Pokémon artist. When she’s not sculpting or painting she can usually be found making flower crowns for herself and her Squirtle.

Buffy is determined to win a Pokémon League and become a Pokémon Master. When she grows up she wants to be a gym leader with her Charmander (who may be a Charizard by that point).

Cyrus wants to be a Pokémon breeder. Or Pokémon scientist. Or a Pokémon documentarian. Whatever he does, if Bulbasaur and his friends are by his side he’ll be happy.

Jonah isn’t sure yet what he wants to do when he grows up and he knows there’s nothing wrong with that! For now he’s focusing on training with his Pikachu and enjoying being young.

Andiversary Week Day 4: Favorite Characters

“I never stood up for myself before today. But I want to again tomorrow.”

I was originally going to use this for favorite quotes, but I decided it was a much better tribute to miss Andi herself ✨💕

Andiversary Week Day 3: Favorite Story Arcs

“I couldn’t find the words to tell you how grateful I am, and how terrible I feel. But also, how lucky at how far we’ve come, and that I treasure our relationship.”

One of my personal favorite story arcs of this show that I feel like we don’t talk about enough in the fandom is Bex and Celia rebuilding their mother-daughter relationship with each other. (This accidentally turned into a mini analysis oops)

Throughout seasons 1 and 2, we see the tension felt between the two of them. Celia feels Bex is too immature and irresponsible, while Bex, who feels Celia is too harsh, wants Celia’s pride and affection more than anything. All this tension culminates in the events of Mama, when the two finally talk about what caused the rift between them. From here Bex and Celia’s relationship remarkably improves, and is especially shown when Celia finally tells Bex she is proud of her after earning her cosmetology degree.

By the time we get to season 3, Bex has become a lot more responsible, while Celia has loosened up quite a bit. Celia is happy to plan Bex and Bowie’s wedding and the two of them get along better than ever. However, when Bex cancels the wedding and doesn’t tell Celia, Celia is greatly hurt by this. Though Bex believed the cancellation of the wedding is what would “break her heart,” it was really the secret-keeping that truly hurt Celia. In this scene, after Bex received the specially made snow globe and touching note from Celia, we finally get the acknowledgment that these two have come so far, and even though they may still hurt each other, they will always love and forgive each other with time. Moments later Bex gets the call that Andi is in trouble, and she and Celia are instantly on the same side again, and we know that their bonds with Andi and with each other can never really be broken.

Andiversary Week Day 1: Ships

On some level I know that a jumper means a sweater but that doesn’t stop me from imagining the characters in full jumpsuits every time I read it

In the last, Amber is dressed as a Pub Thug while Andi is dressed as a baker, with an apron to match her parents. Amber blushes and curls her hair around her finger while Andi stares at her open-mouthed.

“Who are you? And how did you find me?”

So a while ago I drew a quick sketch of muffy Tangled au and I really liked the idea so I revisited it and added more detail, color, and a real background for once lol

I got way too carried away and wrote this whole thing how this au would go down. It’s not a fic per se,,,,since fics require full sentences,,,,but it’s something.

I do not recommend reading if you haven’t seen Tangled, because I skipped over a lot of context and at a few points abandoned actual words for emojis.

This is trash but if literally one person tells me to draw the full line up of characters I’ll do it

This look is actually a redraw of the first ever piece of Andi Mack fan art I ever drew, and the only I drew while Andi Mack was still on the air. It’s interesting for me to see how my style has changed over the last 8 months, since it happened so gradually I didn’t even notice it. At the time, I watched 3x18 and felt like like this look was so iconic I just HAD to draw it.
