Day 7: Free Day
"You need moments like these, they're the moments you'll remember. The funny stories you'll tell about yourself when you meet someone new." -Bex Mack
A while ago, I asked the fandom what everyone's favorite moments from the show were, and these are just a few of the responses I got (it was hard to narrow it down!) This show has meant so much to us, and I just wanted to commemorate a handful of its best moments. Be sure to zoom in on each one :)
Happy andiversary everyone đź–¤
[image ID: a collage of digital drawings. In the center in blue writing are the words "Andi Mack" similarly written to the way it is in the show's title card. Below that in green writing is the quote "These are the moments you'll remember. The title and quote are surrounded by a series of black line drawings, as follows starting at the upper left and moving clockwise: a drawing of Bex hugging and picking up Andi, above them written in an arch shape is written "You called me mom!" Next is a smaller drawing of a frisbee, then of a basketball. Next, Andi is standing in front of Andi Shack, admiring the hundreds of paper cranes she has made and strung up and hung from the ceiling. Next, Marty carries Buffy on piggyback as they cross the finish line together. Next, Buffy hugs her mother, smiling but with a tear in her eye, to the lower right of her reads "Mommy" with a small heart. Next, a smaller drawing of a swingset. Next, Buffy, Cyrus, and Andi stand together in their prison uniforms, chanting and with their fists raised. Next, TJ and Cyrus sit on the bench, underneath them is written "Is there anything you wanna tell me?" Next, Bex, Andi, Cece, and Bowie all lean in for a group hug after Bex and Bowie's wedding. Next, Jonah with a serious expression on his face, to his right is the quote "I never knew how much I'd need a friend like you." Lastly there is a smaller drawing of a chocolate chocolate chip muffin. The background is entirely white except for a few crudely drawn blue and green stars sprinkled throughout.]

Andiversary Week Day 3: Favorite Story Arcs
“I couldn’t find the words to tell you how grateful I am, and how terrible I feel. But also, how lucky at how far we’ve come, and that I treasure our relationship.”
One of my personal favorite story arcs of this show that I feel like we don’t talk about enough in the fandom is Bex and Celia rebuilding their mother-daughter relationship with each other. (This accidentally turned into a mini analysis oops)
Throughout seasons 1 and 2, we see the tension felt between the two of them. Celia feels Bex is too immature and irresponsible, while Bex, who feels Celia is too harsh, wants Celia’s pride and affection more than anything. All this tension culminates in the events of Mama, when the two finally talk about what caused the rift between them. From here Bex and Celia’s relationship remarkably improves, and is especially shown when Celia finally tells Bex she is proud of her after earning her cosmetology degree.
By the time we get to season 3, Bex has become a lot more responsible, while Celia has loosened up quite a bit. Celia is happy to plan Bex and Bowie’s wedding and the two of them get along better than ever. However, when Bex cancels the wedding and doesn’t tell Celia, Celia is greatly hurt by this. Though Bex believed the cancellation of the wedding is what would “break her heart,” it was really the secret-keeping that truly hurt Celia. In this scene, after Bex received the specially made snow globe and touching note from Celia, we finally get the acknowledgment that these two have come so far, and even though they may still hurt each other, they will always love and forgive each other with time. Moments later Bex gets the call that Andi is in trouble, and she and Celia are instantly on the same side again, and we know that their bonds with Andi and with each other can never really be broken.
