wow, my tumblr turned 1 today! it's been a very beautiful and often uneventful year. despite all the controversies, i've closed a great year. thanks to the anonymous readers, the random likers, and most of all, my dearest 13 followers :) it's been superb.
I'm still working on the little extension thingies for my book. It's been over a year and a month, that I started writing it.
One night I had the weirdest dream, probably of my entire (rather short) existence, about these kids being tricked and trapped in Underworld... I remember, I was in the middle of another "novel" (which by the way I still have not finished :P), and I was just browsing among self-publishing companies. I randomly filled out a registration for one site, as to see what it would cost me to publish myactualwork. I don't know for what reason, but I clicked children's books category, and then things just got crazy in my head...
Nothing real was set in motion but the next day I was called by this publishing company. A very nice woman was politely asking me about mybook. It blew my mind. I felt like I was arealwriter. For no apparent reason I started telling about my dream, insted of the project I was making. What I said was to no extent collected or organised but it didn't bother me much, I was just speaking. Dreaming of getting published...
In one week I wrote like twenty-five, thirty pages. I was extremely thrilled. But, then my joy was soon overcome byreason. I was (and still am (for a hopefully short period of time)) monetarily dependent on my parents. The cheapest publishing package was about 2000 pounds if I remember correctly... Anyways, they said, that a book is not a good investment. So they gave me exactly 0.00 pounds to follow my dreams...
I never give up. I didn't give up then, either... In the coming two months I finished my book, had it revised by a published author, who became a very good friend of mine on the way... After that I sent my manuscript to another friend of mine, who resides in Michigan, U.S.. He used to be a professor of genetics and his knowledge is literally unprecedented. Though I hardly agree with him on anything... So he revised it, as well. He said, it's not really good but he sees some potential... This is kind of like the greatest compliment I've ever heard from him, so it was extremely delightful to me, despite its actual indifference :P
My endurance was always fueled by my beautiful Special Girl (I never know how to call her because girlfriendis kind of awkward and she's not my wife yet, so I'd feel uncomfortable with calling her my Half). She is the greatest artist I've seen, or heard, or known about. The inspiration and motivation she gave me are like this once-in-a-lifetime thing, which we always hear abot but can never truly depict... She never let me give in, or turn blue...
And now, after a year, I'm here. Still trying to make it better. But in this one year, I've learned, that I'm ready to leave my parents' house. For good. I'll write. I'll marry my girlfriend (according to my parents) before time. These are my plans and I know, that I shouldn't be crossing the bridge yet, but there's this thing, called faith. I know this is my path because I was instructed this way, by my Heavenly Instructor... I don't fear the shadows of my future, or even my present because I know, that nothing can go so wrong, as to prevent me from becoming the man, that I'm born to become.
Currently celebrating my 6th anniversary with my partners and already got the Bionicle MoL novelization from a thrift bookstore so today is going great
Located approximately 500 million light-years away in the constellation Sculptor, the Cartwheel Galaxy, also known as ESO 350-40 or PGC 2248, mesmerized astronomers with its lenticular and ring galaxy features. With an estimated diameter of 150,000 light-years and a mass of about 2.9–4.8 × 10^9 solar masses, the galaxy's outer ring impressively showcased a circular velocity of 217 km/s. 🌌✨
JWST's powerful infrared observations brought this cosmic masterpiece into focus, offering us fresh insights into the Cartwheel Galaxy's star formation processes and its enigmatic central black hole. The captivating image not only featured the Cartwheel itself but also included two smaller companion galaxies, set against a backdrop of numerous other galaxies scattered across the cosmos. Thanks to this remarkable view, scientists have gained a deeper understanding of the Cartwheel Galaxy's evolution over billions of years. 👀🔍
The Cartwheel Galaxy's striking resemblance to a wagon wheel is the result of an intense cosmic event - a high-speed collision between a large spiral galaxy and a smaller, unseen galaxy (not visible in the image). Such galactic collisions trigger a series of smaller events, and the Cartwheel stands as a remarkable example of this phenomenon. 💫
The most prominent impact of this collision is the formation of two rings within the Cartwheel Galaxy - a brilliant inner ring and an outer ring adorned with a beautiful array of colors. These rings ripple outward from the collision's center, resembling the waves in a pond after a stone is tossed into it. This unique structure led astronomers to classify it as a "ring galaxy," a rarity compared to the more prevalent spiral galaxies like our own Milky Way. 🌌🌀
A year ago, on August 2, 2022, JWST's Mid-Infrared Instrument (MIRI) captured the mesmerizing image of the Cartwheel Galaxy, revealing not only its position within a group of galaxies but also offering a glimpse into the vigorous star formation taking place in the outer ring. This region showed an abundance of star formation, while the dusty area in between showcased numerous stars and star clusters. 🌠✨
The unveiling of this stunning image was the culmination of the dedicated efforts of NASA, ESA, CSA, STScI, and the Webb ERO Production Team, whose relentless commitment to space exploration continues to yield groundbreaking discoveries. 🙌🌠
As we celebrate the one-year anniversary of this momentous achievement, let us once again marvel at the brilliance of the James Webb Space Telescope and eagerly anticipate the incredible discoveries that lie ahead in our journey of unraveling the mysteries of the cosmos. 🎉🚀

I've had this sitting in my WIPs for such a long time, but I finally managed to get the time to finish it!!
I love the fact that no matter which fandom I'm a part of, I never really "move on" from it. In fact, it always seems like I come back to it eventually. And the best part is, every time I come back to it, it always seems like a completely new experience! Its one of the few pieces of media that has that effect on me, and I think that's really special :)
Haikyuu!! and all its characters belong to Haruichi Furudate :D
Art belongs to me :)
History changed on October 4, 1957, when the Soviet Union successfully launched Sputnik 1, the world's first artificial satellite. It was around the size of a beach ball, weighed 83.6 kg (183.9 pounds), and took about 98 minutes to orbit Earth on its elliptical path. This ushered in a new age of political, military, technological, and scientific developments, and although the Sputnik launch was a single event, it marked the start of the space age and the U.S.-U.S.S.R space race.
"I've travelled 4.9 billion miles, executed 2.5 million commands, and sent 453,048 beautiful photographs back to those awaiting at home. Countless papers were published amidst my findings — with more yet to come."
"It'll be my birthday in a month, I'll be turning 20 years of age. But I'm afraid that'll have to wait."
"My last order has been given."
"My name is Cassini. I was born for you. And today, I'll face the end for you."
15/9/2017 — The Plunge: A mission's end. Four years ago on this very day, as it took one final image of the gas giant, the Cassini spacecraft plunged into Saturn — the ringed queen of skies — becoming a part of the planet it had orbited since 2004.
Happy Anniversary to humanity's silent envoy! Here's to 44 years of odyssey - and the next 44 to come.

Undertale has been a major inspiration for drawing these last 5 years and I probably wouldn’t be posting here without it, so thanks to Toby for making this awesome game!

Happy 10th Birthday LIFE IS STRANGE!
And also breaking my Only-repeat every third-rule
And thanks for the Butterfly-idea for the anniversary!
The idea started as an interest 3 years ago to an Alex Ross-inspired piece, all these characters posing for the camera in front of a blank background. And it was something I worked on on and off again and rebooted as many times til I learned the lack of motivation was lack of originality. So I redrew the idea. 85 years of history, 85 characters, in one piece. Comic book-events and milestones. The literal birth of the universe till today. Starting of meta with a mix of Celestials and Galactus, present at the birth of the current universe, alongside the World War II-veterans starting the company. Paying respect to all parts of the evolution; Nick Fury’s war-stories, Hellcat’s romantic adventures, Groot’s Sci-Fi-Horror, Fantastic Four’s rebirth of the Superhero-comic. In the centre, we have what I consider the big three of Marvel’s early days. The man out of time, Captain America connecting the past to the modern day. The first family, Fantastic Four showing a new kind of storytelling and the first solo teenage-superhero and poster-boy Spider-Man leading the future. And around them, everything. The wasteness of the Marvel Universe has space for multiple religions, Asgardian, Greece, Jewish and Egyptian. All kinds of superheroes, from the self-made suits of armors, spies and soldiers, to the science-experiments gone wrong and the naturally gifted children of the atom. We have representatives of the mechanical as well as the mystic arts, the Kree-Skrull-wars, the Inhumans, the afterlives.
And references. The tears of an android, Spidey’s strength to fight when there seems to be no chance, Days of Future Past that would forever haunt them thereafter, the Death of Captain Marvel and Night Gwen Stacy Died changing comics forever. The Infinity Gauntlet inspiring the cinematic universe, House of M increasing the mutant-population and lastly Secret Wars bringing a new generation of young heroes forth and centre.

The Hungarian Post invited me to a competition, to design a miniature sheet about space exploraiton anniversaries and milestones in 2015. The original idea of the Post was that each pair of stamps should represent a major event about space exploration, and one extra should appear in the edge. This was my submission.
