"Awwww hell… they're for sure stuck aren't they?" One captor asked the other, knowing full well the answer. "Shit… no no no, I thought we were gonna save money when we ordered the smaller silos, didn't you measure to make sure they'd fit?" The other captor replied with a question. "I mean yeah. I measured once and did an avera-" "Average?! Do these girls look like their proportions are average?! Gah… The boss is gonna lose her head when she sees this travesty." The other captor sighs, and then lets out a chuckle. "You gotta admit tho, its kinda funny." A glare could be felt searing into the side of the captor who just spoke as the other was fuming.

Hi all! This is the last commission for the year! (But hopefully not the last art of the year!😉) Some no good captors tried to put Aria and Violi in some silo's but failed to do their measurements right and the two got stuck as a result due to their sizable assets. This one had me giggling and I hope you enjoy too! 💜
"After a hard days work and chaos-bringing at Mirage, Aria "visits" Violi's lab without bothering to tell Violi she's turning up, stealing the scientists most valuable possession of the day: Her Banana Pudding. Violi's response is completely uncalled for, encasing Aria and raising her into a silo! Everyone knows all treats belong to the Aria!"

This was the final of my commissions I started at the beginning of the year and it was a rather fun one to finish on! I always know its gonna be a good pick when I'm giggling to myself as I draw it, and that was definitely the case here. https://bsky.app/profile/thearia.bsky.social was both the commissioner, and the "victim" here in this image, having stolen Violi's precious home made banana pudding, she was captured immediately and hoisted up to the silo in the ceiling, but it wasnt enough to get past the smug look on Aria's face still as she's carried up.

Prompt: “I can’t believe I fell in love with you!”
Timing: Between Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice (Cause I need Apollo in it.)

Other notes: I should be writing actual AA oneshots, but I love my little kiddos so much and I want to use them.

“Hold it! It seems the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Your Honour, the piece of evidence the defence has just presented is forged.”
I blinked, trying to calm my heart rate, I knew exactly what had happened to Dad when Aria’s father had brought up the fact that a piece of evidence he’d presented was forged, and it led to seven years of him not setting foot in a courtroom. That’s when I felt a hand on my shoulder, “(Y/n)?”
“J-Just leave me alone. I’m not going to fight it, Ally. I can’t prove it wasn’t,” I replied, trying to contain my tears as I removed my badge from my lapel, placing it on the bench in front of me before running out of the courtroom, hearing Ally chasing behind me, “(Y/n), wait!” I just ignored her, running back to the agency and curling up in a ball on one of the sofas.
“(Y/n)? (Y/n), what happened? Tell me.”
I just sobbed and clung onto my father as she ran over, giving me a hug, “Come on.”
“I-I don’t want to talk about it right now.”
“That’s alright, (Y/n). I’ll be here for you when you do want to explain.”
I took a deep breath and tried to calm my breathing, leaning on him, as I soon found myself falling asleep.

I woke up later to voices, “What the HELL did you do?!”
“I-I..”
“You have no explanation, do you?! You’re a terrible friend, Aria!”
“I know, but please, let me apologise!”
“No,” I muttered, opening my eyes and sitting up, now realising that Trucy’s cape had been placed on top of me as a blanket, “You don’t deserve to be forgiven. I don’t care if you want to apologise, it WON’T GET ME MY BADGE BACK!” I shouted, the tears coming back to my eyes again, “I CAN’T BELIEVE I EVER FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU!” I slapped a hand across my mouth the minute I’d said the statement, and ran out of the Agency, leaving Aria and Luke shocked.
I didn’t know how long I had been running for, but I found myself by Gourd Lake. At least I knew where I was if anyone called me to ask where I’d gone. I just sat down by a tree and sighed, reprimanding myself for letting myself confess to Aria when I was supposed to be mad at her.
“(Y/n)? (Y/n) is that you?”
I looked up at the familiar voice and saw Gigi standing there, a pen in her hand. I just wiped my tears, “Oh. Hi. Yeah, I just needed some fresh air and my legs led me here. What brings you here?”
“Investigating a case. Bluford’s been assaulted and is now in the hospital, the rest of the team thinks he won’t make it, but the doctors are still hoping he will. He’s been smacked on the head by a blunt object, judging from the injury he had, and Caisie’s been accused of doing it. What’s worse is that there are witnesses! Oops… I shouldn’t be telling you all this, you might end up defending her.”
“Just stop. I’m just going to come out and say it, I lost my badge, so it doesn’t matter, Gi, I can’t defend her anyway, but I don’t really want to go into detail.”
“Oh my science, that’s not good. If you need someone to talk to, I’m here!”
“Thanks.”

“Wait… then who got (Y/n)? Everyone else got a gift… On no, did your name get lost in my hat?” Ally muttered, taking her hat off her head and tapping the top of it, trying to see if there was anything stuck inside.
“I’m sure that’s not the case, Ally. In fact, I do actually know where your Secret Santa is, (Y/n).”
“It’s fine. I don’t need anything anyway. Unless you’ve managed to get my badge back, Dad.”
Before he could reply, a knock was heard at the door to the agency. Dad smiled and walked over, opening the door. I couldn’t tell who it was unless I felt a tap on my shoulder, “(Y/n)?”
I tried to contain my anger at the blonde as I looked up at Aria, “What?”
“Sorry I’m late, it took longer than I expected to get your gift.”
I blinked a few times in confusion before she handed me a small box. I took in hesitantly, seeing a smile on her face. I returned my attention to the box and opened it up, gasping as I saw the small golden circular badge inside, “I-Is this a joke?” I asked, looking Aria in the eye as she chuckled, “It’s serious. I’m sorry for causing you to lose your badge, (Y/n),” she spoke, taking it out of the box, “May I?” I nodded and she came closer, pinning it back to my lapel, “That’s where it belongs, not sitting on the defence bench where you left it.”
“H-how did you get it back for me though? It must have been incredibly hard seeing as by taking it off myself and walking out of the courtroom, I was basically admitting that I knew it was forged.”
“Well, I did have a bit of help,” she replied, smiling up at Dad, causing me to smile in return as I hugged her, “Best Christmas gift ever!”
“Does this mean I’m forgiven?”
“I’m still mad at you for getting my badge taken away from me in the first place, but you got it back for me, so yes.”
“That makes me happy to hear. Now, about your confession…” Instead of finishing her sentence, she took my cheek in her hand and kissed me. My eyes went wide and I blinked, but wrapped my arms around her in response.
“Correction to my earlier statement; That was the best Christmas present ever.”
“Glad you think so, (Y/n). Glad you think so.”

This is more of a rant than an analysis, an opinion, you can disagree/agree.
BTW, I haven’t watched the series but read all the books. There would be spoilers on some of the books, on who A is. This is more why it should be animated and how.
𝐖𝐡𝐲?
In live actions, it's hard to find an actor that looks like the character. However, I think PLL needs some characters to look similar to their book counterparts, not exactly but similar.
In my point of view, it could have been easier to convey the story to an audience.
E.G Emily’s parents were racist; they didn’t like Maya because she was black (so it would make sense for Emily’s struggles), of course they can’t find the perfect actor to look like Emily in a live action but can animate her.
Also, Rosewood has a classy school that the girls attend with uniforms. Obviously, it's hard to use uniforms in a live action but it’s more easier animated (saves hassle to draw different outfits for kids to go to school)
Honestly, this is more of an idea (sorry I can’t explain this properly).
𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐲?
Mona Vanderwaal’s; in the earlier books she’s described to look similar to Alison by Hanna. This foreshadows what was going to happen in the future, that Mona was the first A. In the first book (throughout the next 3 books as well), all 4 girls kept seeing blonde hair, this would add to the curiosity of the audience if Alison was still alive before finding her body.
It makes sense to an audience that the blonde was Mona, make sense to the PLL girls that they were targeted by Mona not Alison. Adds more creepiness if they kept seeing blonde hair.
Spencer Hastings; when she discovered that her Ali was actually step-sisters. Also, it would make sense if past Ali and current/past Spencer look a little bit like each other. Along with Melissa.
Ali; if there was some scenes of 6th grade Ali and 7th grade her it could show her to have darker blonde hair in 7th grade also darker blue eyes. This would convey on the twin switch, foreshadowing that the Ali they knew was never the real one. (sorry if this part was confusing)
Nearly any blonde because in Spencer’s flashbacks she always sees someone with Ali who is blonde on the night the murder took place.
Hanna; It would be more easier to differentiate past her and present her. And to portray how she doesn’t want to go revert to her ‘ugly’ past life that she had. Also to illustrate how much she had changed prior to Alison being missing.
𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬 𝟗-𝟏𝟔
My personal opinion would be to cut some parts that are useless, to shorten them. This is because the books drag the new A torturing them (which is real Ali).
𝐒𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬?
I haven’t read Pretty little secrets (which I don’t plan on doing) but definitely read Ali’s Pretty Little Lies (honestly my favorite book in the series). Ali’s Pretty Little Lies could be an animated movie.
𝐈𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧!
In my opinion, any PLL character would be better animated, and it could be more better telling the story. Only if it follows the story of the books.
Finally, I honestly love the book design of the characters and would like to see it animated.
