Been a long time since I've drawn my original OC, the Platinum Knight
Frog Knight
An amphibian hero and his lair.
... knights are cool, guys-
A mix between hydrated and rehydrated Ganondorf, as some friends have requested (as the suit was a part of)
Hope you guys enjoy.

most recent helmets! part one and part two. I have more designs sketched out!
The first one is based off historical helmets and death masks. The plume is called a panache.
Most of these are more self-explanatory; with the middle one I was once again considering someone who can't extricate themselves from their armour, this time with the metal having fused itself to flesh. The many panels and popped nails and patches seem to show a failed attempt at containing the magma. I wanted the look to convey an extreme bitterness.
The last one I tried to focus on adding details to the boar head, likely taken as a prize from the surface. Extra teeth from other animals have been jammed into the face to make it more ferocious, and little decorative elements like the ties and jewelry serve to emphasize the wearer's status and personality. The animal's face is full of shrapnel, and I wanted it to have an extremely miserable, suffering sort of look. You don't fear the animal, you fear whatever has done this to it. I think this full design would have a large fur cloak. The ear is sewn back together, and many modifications have been made- this old trophy is likely falling apart. The hunter's face itself is hidden under a wrap of dirty bandages. The gorget seems to be a functioning bear trap.
part two of FE Agarthan-inspired helmet designs! More notes under the cut. part one and part three
The first one is meant to look completely biological and alien. There's still much we don't know about the Agarthans. By 'fused', I think that they've become a part of the armour. The advantage of the biological armour may be self-healing.
The middle one is a more techonological design based off Shambhala's in-game appearance. The red triangle is a screen, which glows. The gas mask may indicate noxious attacks.
The captive is the only one with a human appearance, and implies that they've been capturing people from the surface to mind-control as soldiers. It's like a Roman gladiator helmet, but the front grille resembles the Agarthan flag, and it's padlocked shut, along with the wires conneting to the brain and the antenna. The armour is also oxidizing, as it's generic stock.
some older helmet designs! they're loosely based off the Agarthans from FE3H, but we have so little info on those guys that these may as well be original. Design notes under the 'read more'! part two and part three
So my overall idea for these is that they're a status symbol and personal identifier amongst generals within 'Those Who Slither', and they're not really meant to be as defensive as a regular helmet, due to their powerful magical and technological defenses. They're mostly meant to inspire fear and awe. For all of these, I tried to alter the silhouette/read of the human head, and incorporate or alter the eyes in some way, as I feel it's the number one identifier of another person, and removing that adds to the sense of fear of the unknown/inhumanity.
First one is pretty obviously just me trying to incorporate as many horns as possible onto a skull until it has a unique silhouette. The faceplate is based on an animal skull.
The middle one is a bunch of crab-like legs, which in my mind twitch over the armour. Crustaceans have a complex set of plates on the underside where their many legs meet, and I wondered how it would look if all the legs curled over a face. The last one is a horse's skull with a bunch of accessory, and represents the glorification of war. It has a big Roman plume, chariot-wheel designs on the spaulders, blood-like beads from the tasseled headress, a red ribbon out the back, and a halberd-shaped spike on the front. The spikes on the shoulders are three-sides blades, which produce irregular, difficult-to-heal wounds.

scrutiny.
Me this morning 😂🙌🏼🙏🏼. Went through a spiritual attack last night in my sleep. Immediately woke up and said a prayer and pulled out my Bible😌
