Spaaace! Dipping my foot in the world of astrophotography, even if for one picture, ha.
I GOT PHOTOS OF THE COMET!
It took over a week of bad weather and timing, but I finally got a few.
Target: C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS)
Telescope: Heritage 150p tabletop dobsonian
Eyepiece: 25mm (30x zoom)
Camera: Samsung Galaxy A14, ISO 3200, speed 4s
THE PHONE ADAPTER FINALLY ARRIVED
I got a phone adapter for my telescope, so I'm gonna be able to take good photos tonight.
Photos of The Orion Nebula that I took over the past few nights. I took these without a phone adapter (it's arriving on Tuesday), so they turned out surprisingly well
The first photo is orange because of the glare from a nearby light, the rest were taken in a different location and are slightly blue because it was dawn.
Edited versions of those photos:
Telescope: skywatcher heritage 150p tabletop dobsonian
Eyepiece: 25mm
Camera: Samsung Galaxy A14 camera - ISO 3200, speed 4 or 8 seconds
Some pictures of the moon I've taken over the past week! The photos aren't as clear as they could be (I don't have a phone stabilizer)
Telescope: Skywatcher Heritage 150p
Lens: 10mm or 25mm (I can't remember)
Phone: Samsung Galaxy A14
The sky is so tragically beautiful, the graveyard of stars.
So, my family is Greek, and my grandmother, who grew up in Athens, was named Urania. And funnily enough, I’m now in university majoring in Astrophysics. I’ve always found that coincidence kind of funny and this is a cool aesthetic!
(Also, Urania is pronounced like Oo-rah-nee-uh, if anyone wonders)
Urania
Bright and cold night sky captured with my good old galaxy S21, from Aosta, Italy. We can see Mars, Orion and the Pléiades.
August 2021, South of France. I am proud to share my first picture of Jupiter. I have stacked frames from a 2min45s video.
This is my first shot of Orion Nebula from home (Nice, France) on Nov 14th. Taken with C8 EdgeHD, Nikon D750, ISO6400,10s. My next step is to fine tune my mount tracking (was done in a rush), take longer exposures and stack several shots. Hopefully this week-end.
The Moon... revealing its scars, its colours, its history, its strength, its hypnotic beauty, its pride, its majesty... Taken from my backyard, South of France.
Cha moon... faithful, beautiful, powerful
