Waves of Loyalty:  the final novel in a trilogy from the prolific pen of Susie Harrison.  The book is available on Amazon, and the complete audiobook (including this chapter) will be released on Audible.  Excerpt narrated by Russil Tamsen, 13 mins. In this chapter, a thirty something army field tech, Jesse, briefly relates his life journey so far. From learning to swim to fishing in the stream behind his house with his high school best pal but archrival for girls’ attentions - especially for the heart of Sandi. Jesse doesn’t get the girl but his flame never goes out either. He marries another gal who soon dies young of cancer. He goes into a tailspin, and is only pulled out by a tech job that flies him to warzones around the world with Black Water consulting...

Attention to all of my fellow dorks, geeks and nerds out there (standing out loud & proud! 😉) & also to my fellow #ArmitageArmy members out there: I came across something quite interesting online and I thought that some of you might be interested to know about this... For @meandrichard this could be something that you could add to your future blog posts that you write and share information about RA's colleagues, both past and present, that he's worked with. In this case, about Andrew Lincoln (Chris Ryan's Strike Back - 2010) worked an audiobook in the HP Universe called: "Quidditch Through the Ages" that was released on Audible on March 15th, 2018. I thought this might be interesting to some of you and it was my pleasure for sharing!! ☺

To Kill A Mocking Bird By Harper Lee

To Kill A Mocking Bird By Harper Lee

"Shoot all the blue jays you want,if you can hit'em, but remember it's a sin to kill a mocking bird"

This book throws light on various topics like prejudice, racism, civil rights, gender roles, perception, integrity without discussing them explicitly yet showing us a way to comprehend all of the topics and their effects on society.

The events take place in Maycomb, Alabama around the 1930s. It is as seen through the eyes of Scott Finch, a young bright girl of 6, inquisitive and brave to say the least. The book has the power to connect with the reader at a deeper level and help change the perspective on how one sees the world and the people in it.

Audible Narrators

I absolutely adore Michael Kramer and Kate Reading. They are phenomenal audiobook narrators who did amazing work with Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series and with Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere. They are definitely my favorite Audible narrators. But...

I do think maybe Edgedancer could have been narrated by Suzy Jackson, who did the Skyward series. She would have been perfect for Lift. I guess I understand it's more consistent to use Kate Reading since she does Lift in the main books, and she does a wonderful job, but I just think Suzy Jackson would have been cool in that role.
