Y/N's days after the snap became so dull and regular. She would wake up, have breakfast which is a piece of bread and coffee, black. She wouldn't eat anything for lunch and when it's night she would order take out. Hannibal was the one who used to cook in the house, eversince his death she couldn't bring herself to cook. Over the time the kitchen's cabinets got dusty, the carpest felt raw under her feet.
Slowly, she withdraw from her friends and family members, all she did was work, come home, sleep and repeat.
Little did she knew that this will chance soon.
Recently there were news about people who passed away 5 years ago are coming back to life. The HQ of SHIELD was buzzing with new information and crisis that she had to be quick with her job.
That day, she decided to walk from her job to her home, it was a warm day and she needed a long walk to clear her head.
The streets were busy, highschool teenagers were getting off busses to go to their homes to their families... she wanted to have her own family with Hannibal one day... how stupid she was.
As she kept walking, her head low, she noticed that she was close to her door she lifted her weary head to look up and gasped in shock. She had to take a step back, her hand on her chest, she could feel her heart about to jump out of her rib cage. There he was, sitting on the stairs, waiting for her.
''Hannibal..'' she whispered, couldn't believe her eyes. Was this real?
Hannibal bolted to his feet and didn't say anything just ran to her and wrapped his arms around her. Felling her warmth once again,
''My love.'' he said with a shaky breath, she broke down, years of burden on her shoulders, years of pain and torture has come to an end and she finally let go, her tears made her vision blurry. Hannibal pulled back a little to touch her warm face, ''No, no, please,'' he started to cry too, as soon as he opened his eyes again he had only one thing on his mind, to find his love. ''We are together again. We're given a second chance and I'll not be a fool, I'll make this work for both of us.'' he promised. He leaned in to kiss her sweet lips, damn it felt good to taste those lips once again, they give him life. Foreheads touching he exhaled, ''I love you.''
