Basil, Omori
Art I made for Basil's birthday about a week ago
I'm obsessed with Basil, so I thought it would be a cool idea to draw him over and over while practicing different art styles. The random brushes were just a fun challenge.
In my Angry Basil universe, Basil pushed Sunny into the lake instead of Aubrey pushing Basil. In this universe, Sunny is very afraid of Basil as obsessive behaviors and anger issues don't really mix in friendships. (examples being Basil tightly gripping Sunny's shoulder whenever Mari comes up in conversation or constantly guilt-tripping Sunny into never leaving him) Either way, I like Sunny having longer hair, I mean he didn't leave his house in 4 years. Who's cutting his hair?
I've thought a lot about Basil's character from Omori. Since you could compare each friend to a stage of grief I switched Basil and Aubrey. I feel like he has more of a reason to be angry compared to Aubrey. (though she is still a cool character) So instead of being timid and kindhearted (mmm debatable) he is now aggressive and rude.
