Before the Anger- episode 39, "Student Party? (pt. 1)"

We are finally learning more about Gaster and Siqua. But Alphys past still remains a mystery (I don't want to get you excited, it takes a while until we learn more about Alphys. Sorry!)

((“Of course I know about her. She’s the basis of the entire royal guard!” Although it wasn’t relevant, Elaine felt compelled to say, out of pride, that, “When I was 10, I met her! Well, I think. I’m not sure, but she looked pretty human-like.” Papyrus stood from the couch and smoothed his jacket. “I met her too. Before everyone knew she was the… fallen one. I didn’t have the knowledge I do now and…” Papyrus looked uncomfortable, “Well, let’s just say, if she ever comes back, she’s not gonna be very happy with me. So I left the royal guard. I don’t deserve to protect her.”))

The end! That was the last of this specific side story. What Papyrus said only makes sense if you have read the rewritten Under Anger, pretty much he (spoilers) tries to kill Nimiee. I'm now realizing that probably also doesn't make sense... If you want you can read it here but its unfinished.

Before the Anger- episode 38, "That one Crybaby at the Store"

Lots of child psychology in this one! Side note- Sans is afraid of heights. Doesn't add much to the story but if you look at him in some UnderAnger panels, you can tell he is scared lol. He doesn't say anything about it, though. I LOVE PSYCHOLOGY!!!!

This episode was posted on my birthday! Congrats to myself for living this long :)

((One day, Elaine had come back from royal guard training with the question burning in her mind. She mustered her courage and asked, “Papyrus, why did you… quit?” He was sitting on the couch and slowly turned to face her, like he was expecting this. He sighed, “I assume they’ve taught you all about the Goddess?” Elaine raised her eyebrows. This was not the answer she’d expected.))

Actually, this side story has some spoilers for Under Anger: Secret Ending! I haven't got to the whole "Goddess" thing yet over there. This is some exclusive content y'all are getting 😎

I love this episode! All the little details make my nerd heart happy. This episode has set the most timeline out of all the others so far!

((Elaine and Papyrus had gotten to know each other. Months had passed. They were close, like an older, responsible brother and a found sister. Papyrus wasn’t what Elaine had expected. He didn’t try to be a “father figure”, but his presence brought the same comforting energy anyway. But there was one question Elaine had: why would Papyrus quit being a royal guard?))

((--So she was. All through the process of being assigned the caretaker, people looked right at her and called her “Elaine.” She’d never felt such a feeling before. All the way to Papyrus’s house, hearing the door open, seeing his face; he smiled and said, “Elaine, it’s nice to meet you!”))

Before the Anger- episode 34, "...No. (pt. 1)"

Does this episode look different to you? If so, you are right. This was actually the first episode I ever made of BTA. I was testing the comic style and didn't think how much my style would change. So it's a bit odd, but I tried my best to edit it so its less jarring.

((Seeing as the conversion was finished, Elaine started to leave, but was stopped by Undyne. “Wait,” she said, “I need a name to refer to you as.” Elaine made a dreadful sigh, knowing this question would come up. “Legally? ‘Elaine’. But nobody has ever called me that before.”

“So what do they call you?” Undyne asked. Elaine shook her head and started a list, “Kid, Armless, Trippy, little Jailbird… really anything you can think of. It was the same with my mom and sister. I never even learned what their real names were.” Undyne tilted her head, shocked, “What a strange tradition. What about you? What do you WANT to be called?”))

A double decker for today's side story! This one is almost over. Afterwards, we'll start a new side story (in my opinion, a much cooler one)

Sneak peek of Siqua's lore!

In a few episodes, this will make sense, but I'm impatient so I posted it now :)

Im in a bit of an art rut... I have yet for inspiration to hit me. The art style for my comic is very simple and I've been drawing in it so much that I find it difficult to draw in my normal style now 😅 i guess its a good and a bad thing.

A Halloween special in February? Of course not, this is an archive, remember?

Gaster is surprisingly compliant with such a childish holiday. He even gave the bare minimum!

Costumes: Siqua and Undyne are Lady Doris and Broccoli from one of my favorite comics, Broccoli Soup! (by @somesecretpie) Papyrus, it would have been very easy to put him in his UT fit, but everyone is expecting that. So, he is Goldie from my FNaF AU, Virus Tears. Gaster and Sans are just simple costumes (but peanut is a reference to peanut sans lol)

I just read all of BTA and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!

I love how you portray Alphys, and I love Siqua and the others as well! (funk Gaster tho) Their interactions are so fun to read.

(Drawing below has some blood, so warning!) I drew Toriel from my AU, Before the Anger. We haven't met her yet, but she is very cool in my humble opinion. Not sure how much I want to inform you being she isn't introduced... Pretty much, Toriel is very powerful :)

I like tumblr because I can post both comics AND art, so I think I'll be mixing up my content a little soon. Of course, my comics are still art, but its a very simple style so I can post weekly lol- I like to play around a lot more with composition and lighting in my "official" art. I love Tumlr :) Its a very well built and creative app

Can you tell its late by the fact that nothing I'm saying makes sense?

I changed my header on here! (First pic) I originally came up with a different concept but found it so boring that I didn't even finish it. (Second pic) the original header was just randomly chosen from my camera roll. It was a pic for the rewritten version of UnderAnger, cuz y'know how Wattpad has those illustrations you can put at the top of the chapter? (Third pic)

Also, BTA episode 20 has gotten so many notes in just one day?? I knew people liked Sans, but I didn't know it would apply to me as well! Unfortunately for them, Sans doesn't show up again for a very long time. He's on the backfoot of the series (at least for season 1)

My comic (Before the Anger)

Before the Anger- episode 20, "Picnic Party (pt. 3)"

The original AU that this comic is based on was in grayscale. Obviously, since this comic has color, the other characters have gotten color into their designs. But not Sans. He's so emo that he stays in grayscale.

Also, water is important in this series. This is the first encounter we have with it, and it's relatively positive! But watch out for symbolism later in the comic :)
