When is it my turn to live in a small apartment in a big city where I'm friends with all the neighbors and with the baker and the grocery store owners who I get to talk to on my weekly shopping trips, where everything is within walking distance, and where I can spend hours at a coffee shop to write and I'm friends with the regulars and the workers. I want to look out my window at night and revel in the city lights, knowing that there is an infinite amount of possibilities waiting for me whenever I'm ready to grab them.
Big City Life
I love the big city with all my heart. Just go out and see the crowds of people in a hurry somewhere. As the crowd of the cars are in traffic as more people try to get to its destination. Evening. You see how the building by thousands of bright lights flicker, and it does not depend on you, it does not depend on anybody. Life just goes on, not stopping for anyone. I believe that life is a prize. But to live doesn't mean that you're alive. This is my moment, I just feel so alive. No I'm not lucky, I'm blessed. Yes. My dream is to finally hear: Your flight will take one hour.
