I was inspired. I love playing around with dynamics sm- Also, you can’t tell me a young Ford would not eat the HECK out of a bag of blue hot Doritos- He’s the kind of kid who would suck the dust off of every single one of his fingers too and not wash them, but complain about Stanley and his nasty Cheeto fingers.
Obviously references to Bills dead parents. Duh. But I thought it was funny. Inspired by this picture lol:
Domestic life for the cipher family
I was trying to think how bill would refer to Euclid and Scalene as using mum or mom for both wouldn’t work.
Plus the other types of mum don’t really fit mentally for me.
But I thought it be really funny if Bill has a unique tone in how he calls each mum
So Scalene is more fake regal as the two of them home due to her style she would fit in the Victorian and earlier time periods as a Nobel far too well.
Another tone for Scalene would be any use of mommy specifically or mother dearest or spawn point in a musical way, but these aren’t the daily ones
For Euclid it varies between fake hatred (as a silly joke between the two) or lengthening it out by extra syllables.
Euclid has a specific nickname of daddo or mumusikca (said the same way as a variant of mum in Ukraine) or “thy creator” in any form of joking manner, showcasing any form of dramatics via body language or tone.
Both have the titles of mum and dad used randomly, Euclid a bit more as she sometimes is mistaken for a man, and Scalene specifically when she shows off her strength and arm wrestles.
The Cipher family like to mess around with names as Eulidia used colours for a language, which means it cannot be used on earth to talk.
On the other hand it means they take what they see of earth’s culture and mess around with it indiscriminately- especially as human gender does not match up too much with Euclidean gender
I headcannoned that both of his parents had the potential to live beyond 2D, but it wasn’t untill Bill was being made ready to be born that they had the abilty to go beyond 2D.
Meaning they lived as 2D and then went beyond once Bill popped out
They have a unique view of the world compared to bill in this sense
It also meant tho they had to leave Euclidia at some point tho

My brother came to my room and handed me my dog and said “please take her, she won’t sleep” (it’s 1am and she usually sleeps in my brothers room bc it’s was she prefers) so then I took her, sang Rock A Bye Billy and she started snoozing.
