would just like to remind y’all of her CANON age in the FIRST black panther movie
and her CANON age in the SECOND black panther movie: Wakanda Forever
this has got to be the worst take i’ve ever seen in my life LMAOO WTF let’s talk about,
Starting with wakanda, as much as i love the country it had never faced a hard day in its life until killmonger showed up (less than a decade ago mcu timeline wise) while Talokan had to move multiple times in the 500 that they’ve been a society.
Not to mention Talokan was living in very polluted and overfished waters while wakanda was perfectly behind their barrie’s.
Onto the “wakanda had nothing to do with their problem”… they did. that was the entire reason namor went to wakanda in the first place. because T’challa had revealed vibranium to the world like namor explains that ffs
Overall this was a hilarious (and kinda racist) take on namor and his people. and so so bad. like this was a terrible, no good, very bad take.
You would have to watch this movie with your eyes closed and the tv turned off to come to this asinine conclusion.

No but please tell me why I teared up when Namor was showing Shuri around Talokan, like the view man! so f*cking beautfiul, I can see why they stayed down there, if that was me I wouldn't come back to the surface for the longest time either.
Friendly reminder! Don’t make Namor speak Spanish in your fics. Yes, I know Aquapapi is played by Tenoch Huerta (y está buenísimo el hombre ik), but Namor’s native language is Yucatec Maya. Making him speak the language of the colonizers who killed his people for terms of endearment and playing it off as his first language is a bit insulting, I think.

M’baku really stepped into to the older brother/mentor role when he saw Shuri needed someone. I spent the entire movie thinking ‘Now that’s perfect boyfriend material’ and I have no shame.
I can understand why Shuri saw Killmonger in the ancestral plane, he was right, they are alike. They both wanted revenge for their loved ones they had lost to their enemies (Killmongers Father for him and Ramonda, T’challa and maybe T’chaka for Shuri) and they were willing to get it at almost any means necessary and They wanted to kill their enemies for what they did. They wanted to get vengeance for their family. It’s just like what Killmonger said “T’challa was too noble.” and he was, he offered sympathy to Killmonger and Zemo who both caused him and his people immense harm, Shuri never would’ve done that. She would’ve imprisoned them both immediately or killed them. Killmonger and Shuri both would’ve killed Zemo but T’challa didn’t. Thank you for coming to my TED talk
