Octopolis
Finished the cover for the first issue of Octopolis.
Octopolis - The world is ruined by the 'Rising' but one girl could care less. Deposited from the past into this hodge-podge world of tentacles and tantrums, she meets an unlikely friend in a tiny Newsiepus. Will this friendship last? disclaimer: There isn't really a comic. I just ended up drawing a cover. But now that I did... maybe I will make it into one. Maybe. Can I make it into a shirt first? I like making things into t-shirts. Oh you've noticed? Good eye, Tuck!

Believe it or not, this started off as a piece inspired by Usagi Drop. That show must be the epitome of all things pure and innocent, and yet, somehow along the way, tentacles tainted the idea and churned this piece up.
I guess it could be worse.
I wonder if pants like that exist.

Wherein a narwhal feels dejected, in a bar full of humans who only see her as a horned aberration - a freak show. And yet... someone approaches her.
"There is more to you than just a horn. I know it." ...
In the near dystopian future, proper ladies will carry octopus umbrellas. Will that then make it more utopian? Yes. Because that’s how octopuseseseses will take over the human race. They will pretend to be umbrellas and whisper into our ears while we blissfully stroll around, none-the-wiser.
Hehe. Just a quickie animation of the octogirl for kicks. Fun fun.
Maybe I'll do a better treatment later. ^_^

Toink! And the set is complete! (for now) I think it's ready. No? Maybe I am being hasty. I will check again later before putting it up on the shop. Besides, it's below 59° F in my room which gives me an excuse to dig a burrow in my bed and just watch anime or something. That's what below 59° does. In the absence of a female companion, of course.
