Wow, the event in 2016 seems so far away. 381 days, countless meetings, even more phone calls, 15 pounds, 23,000 kilometers driven, and a beard. Looking through the pictures revealed a few things, mainly; the oceans of wine and abundance of talent, training, and fulfillment of spirit (both meanings) that went on over the event. I am still thankful and humbled to have been selected to be part of it. Sitting at dinner, and tables that with senior executives, directors and peers from companies over 100 years old to ones just starting who were identified as emerging leaders, in Montréal, was an experience I'll never forget. What's the story morning glory? Up before the Sun, the cloudiness of champagne from the Pac Rim the night before notable at the forefront of my mind. Was it too much music? Too much champagne? It is in writing about this scene that I relive this night in my soul." It was a great night, both ended a 0400 and began 630 with a walk down the waterfront. This year i start with. Every time i go visit peoples, i take new or a diffrent bottle of champagne or bubbles with me, so i dont have to open it by my self.
Sorry I’ve abandoned tumblr for a little while.. this is what I’ve been working on! My secret project is revealed! I have my own hair salon and barbershop. I am truly grateful for the opportunity I was given to turn my dream into a reality and become the proud owner of a business at 19. I feel very lucky and overwhelmed. I worked ridiculously hard to get the salon perfect and I hope it has all paid off- I’m certainly very happy
