Every now and then I become so enraptured with a specific character (and by proxy or cause of the media they're in) that they consume my brain like a brain worm of the worst callibar. It's like they slide into a slot next to sleeping and breathing and if I'm not thinking about them then I'm consuming more media about them. As if I'm at an all you can eat buffet and an hour left before I'm kicked out, with the incentive that if I don't absolutely go ham on the self serve seafood buffet I'll be feeling my ancestors smhs all the way from the afterlife. And then my great grandma reincarnated as a little girl slaps me up the head and goes 'aiya why you not eating more you gotta get your moneys worth's and I can only nod my head as I down another bowl of lobster bisque.
Anyway epic the musical made me realise that I miss the Percy Jackson books and now I'm hyperfixating specifically on one Lester Papadopoulos (you absolutely hairlarious bastard). Rereading the Trials of Apollo as well as having consumed about 30 - 40 fanfics so far in the course of a few days. My sleep is neglected but gods is my imagination refreshed.
