Dude, ABSOLUTELY! Okok, here's what I got for an idea personality-wise.
Chien-pao (the bolt)
The Speedy and rowdy of the bunch, always looking for some fun. He's the youngest, and the most immature of the four. He doesn't take his destruction duties seriously...
Chi-yu (the beauty)
She's the dancer of the four, putting on beautiful light shows for all. But she has hidden darker layers you find out later in the story. She's short-tempered and self-centered.
Ting-lu (the brawn)
Not the sharpest rock out there, but he makes up for it with his freakishly brute strength. However, he's as cowardly as he is strong, pushing any ally pokemon in the way of battle so he can make his escape.
Wo-chien (the brain)
The eldest of the four. cold, calculating and cruel. He's the one who orchestrats the chaos he and his brethren cause. He has this creepy obsession with carving patterns into random trees for some reason. He's specifically after a smoliv who's bloodline is said to be related to a greedy king who lived here long ago...
Honestly speaking these four would make for really fun PMD antagonists
