Today’s 212th feels are brought to you by Landing at Point Rain.
So I was on my eleven thousandth rewatch of s2ep5, crying over Waxer’s helmet and Obi-Wan recognizing Waxer and Boil before he could even hear them or see their armors, and then I started screenshotting. The results are in: Cody and Waxer are fretting ducklings mother hens. Behold:

Waxer sticking close to his General.
He’s the one to bring him to the square (pic 1), kneels next to him even after they’re safe (pic 2), stays next to Obi-Wan even after the medic has delivered the hypo (left of the screen, pic 3), and has come back to the same spot during the briefing, where he’s the only non-officer.
Like, Ki-Adi is kneeling too because he’s injured, sure, but there’s no reason for Waxer to be there except to check on his dad General.
It’s super sweet and I love it.
I barely post on here but I am so desperate rn. Can anyone find this Cline Wars fic for me (I have searched so far and so long AND I STILL CANT FIND IT)
The literal plot is like they know about the chips but for some reason the commanders can’t take the chips out so they keep that hidden from everyone. And when Order 66 happens the commanders just like stop themselves anyway possible. In Cody’s case (because it starts in Cody POV) he like shoots himself or smth. Then the other part of the fic is like Rex and Obi Wan like at his bedside and other stuff I can’t remember. Cody does wake up, I think Fox is briefly mentioned and I think it’s mentioned that Wolffe is dead. But ye that’s all I really remember

after the war ends, Obi-Wan desperately wants to quit the Council, but Mace keeps rejecting his resignations
so Obi-Wan decides to take matters into his own hands: if he can’t resign formally, he’s going to get himself kicked off
he starts by showing up to Council meetings intoxicated, and wearing increasingly outrageous (and frequently revealing) clothing
when his own efforts fail to get any reaction out of Mace, he recruits outside assistance
he sends Anakin wearing a fake beard and mustache to attend as him (which has the side benefit of convincing Anakin that he never, ever, wants anything to do with the Council)
Cody attends wearing Obi-Wan’s clothes and lightsaber, but making no other attempt to disguise himself
Quinlan breaks in during a meeting, makes out with Obi-Wan for two minutes straight, then smashes through a window to make his daring escape
Ahsoka does her best Hondo impression and shows up to kidnap Obi-Wan in the middle of a session, with Rex and the Bad Batch (in their normal, full armor) as her dastardly pirate crew
and while certain members of the Council are outraged, Obi-Wan still can’t even get Mace to consider his resignation
of course, Mace isn’t going to tell Obi-Wan that his efforts have backfired: this is the most entertainment Mace has had in YEARS, he’s wasn’t letting Obi-Wan quit before he started this, and now at least half the reason is that he wants to see what Obi-Wan’ll try next
Take your most Cody and put him in a pose like s motorcyclists, plz make the bike sort of like a blue-green ombre

Miko putting flame stickers on the bots, or other heavy metal things. Raf discreetly putting a bumblebee one on Bee. Cody sneaking several words of kindness ones onto the rescue bots.
Do magnets work on cybertronions because there are some cool decals that I would slap on a bot. Or bumper stickers those work two.
bonus points if, somehow, Miko catches wind of this and makes that word something she makes a point to say in nearly every sentence.

Imagine Cody says some word casually that’s innocent in English but is a Cybertronian swear word and the rescue bots are appalled
and they chastise him and send him to his room because apparently that’s what you do when children misbehave and Cody just doe s it because he’s so confused
and when he’s gone the bots all sit around like WHERE DID WE GO SO WRONG Heatwave this is your fault
