Nikon announced the launch of a new waterproof camera

Before launch of Nikon 1J4 the company has decided to pull a new waterproof camera Coolpix S32. This digital camera is designed like easy enough to use by people of all ages, including kids.

Strong enough to survive in any environments Coolpix S32 has compact design to take along. The camera is waterproof, dustproof and shockproof. It means you can go diving with the camera without worrying it will get broken. Nikon guarantees that it will survive at water depths up to 32-feet (10m) and after free fall from a height to 5-feet (1.5m).

S32 also has a 2.7-inch LCD that has an easy graphics interface and electronic vibration reduction system. The camera controls are designed for ease of use to allow anyone to operate. It has a 13.2MP CMOS sensor and NIKKOR lens with 3X optical zoom (focal length of 30-90mm). The maximum supported resolution for photos 4160x3120 pix. ISO modes Auto/125/200/400/800/1600.

The waterproof camera also supports an in camera slide show for viewing images on the display. Other features include a video recording with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels at 30 frames per second, Motion Detection, Scene modes and Smart Portrait System. Max shutter speed 1/2000 sec. New camera has a port USB 2.0 and slots for memory cards SD / SDHC / SDXC.
