Once upon a time I tried cooking fish a certain way and it didn't come out the way I wanted it to. I first fried it in oil at high heat and it got stuck on the surface of the pan.π©
And my first thought was "well, it was probably because the heat was too much." π₯΅π₯΅
And so the next time I tried frying it, I did it on low heat and still the fish got stuck to the pan and turn into little pieces. And I thought "maybe it's because of the pan I was using." π³π₯
So since that was the only type we had, I had to find a different way of cooking fish without it sticking to the bottom of the pan.(Of course I could've just roasted it in the oven but that takes too much time and more electricity)πββ‘
I wanted the easiest and quickest way possible. And so after going through a dew YouTube videos I came across a video where they the dish by first putting the tomatoes, garlic and onions and then putting the fish on top, that way it doesn't stick and it's easier to turn over. And so that's how I had been cooking fish for that entire time. π
Now a few days ago, my dad bought fish again. This fish looked different and so I decided to go back to frying it first and see if it would work and Lo and behold it worked!
It didn't stick to the pan and it was on high heat. No flour coating whatsoever. ππ
So now I was wondering what was different then and now and maybe it's because of the type of fish. Or the thickness of the skin.
Anyway the point of this story is about creativity. When we hear of people being creative, we sometimes think of artists, singers, actors etc. We never really see ourselves as creative unless we are doing artistic stuff like drawing, writing, painting or whatever. And so I remember reading somewhere about how being creative is in every living being. It's in our nature being creative. π₯
Doing something a different way makes you a creative. Me deciding to cook that fish dish differently makes me creative. Deciding to take a different route home makes you creative.
Doing something different brings out a different outcome, sometimes something that we would've never imagined. And maybe by doing that you find a way of working that you weren't aware of.
Who would've thought my fish dishes would turn to smithereens. It tasted different, a nice different. Probably because of the texture. Would I intentionally cook it again? No.
But maybe if I was a chef looking to polish my culinary skills I would find a way to incorporate it into another dish where it creates the right flavour based on that texture.π¨βπ³πͺ
And so doing something different might lead to new discoveries. So in what ways are you choosing to do things differently?π±β¨π±
*creative, of course being a bird, brings Sirius to a big ol nest and lays on top of him like a birb*
Hope this isn't too far off! He's pretty cozy
πBeautifulπ

Today is another day of your life
Is a day where you wake up
With a plan on your day
Or without any
Yes it's just a simple day
Like any other day
But just know
That do not hesitate
To do whatever comes into your mind
Cause this day is going to end
To never come back again
I knew it ,it was wrong
I knew it ,it won't last
I knew it, it would hurt
But again I tried so hard
Play all your cards
Or give up
Play hard to get everything
Or lose everything
Destroy all of them
Or look yourself being destroyed
In front of them
Lie all of them
But never yourself
Be you and be free
Or be a "lie" and a prisoner of your mind
Do not believe their words
But hear yourself
Cause it's always saying something to you
Something you should hear
Something it will make you strong
Something it will give you power
In front of everyone
Something it will change your life
Something you need
When you look inside yourself
Something it will lead you somewhere
Somewhere in a better place
Something that will give you everything
Something that is YOU
The best version of YOU
One day I will leave
Far away from here
In a place where is just me
My heart and the shining stars
THE SHAPE OF YOUR ESSENCE
Follow the light trails. In your own depths, where the light is scarse and the pressure is boneshattering, you have to shine of your own light and give birth to your own inner strength. There is a light somewhere that is yours and yours alone, a burning flame of fluid destiny that is lit for you to follow. But your eyes have to be open, your soul must know it. If they are and if it does...well, surrender to it and follow the light trail. Aren't you curious? To find out where it leads? To find out the shape of your essence?

Hello dear friends, I hope I'm finding you well and the new week has started well for you. Before I show something new on here I just wanted to present one more photo of my sculpture called The Glamour Girl. This is a nicely toned black and white close up of the sculpture , I really enjoyed creating this project and when you stood back and viewed the sculpture she really did have quite a presence about her.
This sculpture was life size and modelled in water based clay my favourite medium to work in, have a great rest of the week, more artwork very soon, Take care π€βΊοΈπ
Hello dear friends, may I present a newly creative version of my sculpture called The Glamour Girl. I've taken many photographs of past sculptures and it's only perhaps over the last two years that I've started to edit the pictures. To see if I can create some interesting images that might work for future wall art, I call this image " Burning Up " and of course it's The Glamour Girl. I hope January has started well for you and may I wish you a great rest of this week, Take care π€βΊοΈπ
Hello dear friends, when I last posted I presented a little black and white glimpse of Little Boy Tom. So tonight I thought I'd present a black and white photo of the whole framed canvas wrap print.
This canvas wrap print is called Little Boy Tom and was created from my sculpture called Little Boy Tom, which was a life size figurative portrait I created of a sitting little boy.
And this artwork is in a newly painted black and white frame, I look forward very much to presenting more artwork on here very soon.
I wish you a great weekend, keep well and Take care π€ππ
Hello dear friends, I hope I'm finding you well on this Tuesday evening, tonight may I present the pink toned sketch rendering of my sculpture called Spike.
This was created from my life size sculpture called Spike which was based on the characters from the film called Gremlins. The original clay sculpture was modelled in water based clay and a wonderful project to create.
I look forward to showing further art work very soon, keep well and Take care π€βΊοΈπ
Hello dear friends, tonight may I present a closer look at Tut , shown here as a black and white.
I love creating Egyptian themed artworks , there's always such a presence about the peace of work. And the eyes, always those eyes are watching you.
There will definitely be more Egyptian work in the future, but very soon I will finally be showing The Lost Boy Of Venice finally finished.
I hope you're having a fine week, keep well and Take care βΊοΈππ
The wooden clay armature, Hello dear friends tonight I wanted to present a photo that would be a real insight into the making of a life size sculpture.
This photo shows the life size wooden armature that I created for a previous statue I've presented on here called The Glamour Girl. This is what's inside of the clay in order to hold the sculpture in shape.
The aim of the armature is to take the weight of the clay and the armature must fit inside of the clay the same way that a skeleton fits inside the human body.
I usually create my armatures out of wood, steel brackets and nuts and bolts and once the armature is in place and the figures pose is correct. I then cover the armature with clay and slowly build up the figure and face and any clothes etc.
Of course when you look at the clay sculpture, you wouldn't know there was an armature inside, but there is and it's a very important factor of a sculpted project.
I'll post again very soon, I hope you're having a fine week, keep well and Take care βΊοΈπ
Hello dear friends, I hope I'm finding you well on this late Sunday evening and may I wish you a Happy start to September.
Tonight I'd like to present to you this violet purple close up Egyptian themed portrait . This is a further design I created from my sculpture called Ancient Egypt.
It's still in keeping with the Egyptian look and character but the beautiful colours give a lush striking appearance to the artwork.
I look forward to presenting further art work here very soon, Happy new week, Take care π€ππ
Hello dear friends, may I present a new photo of my sculpture Tut, I've chosen to present the photo in an Emerald filter in the hope of making an artistic impression.
I really enjoyed creating this statue, it was a real challenge capturing the details and trying to create that Egyptian look . When you stood back and looked at this statue in the eyes the eyes seemed to look right back at you.
You almost get that feeling of being observed when you're next to Egyptian themed statues, as though you're being watched. Perhaps that was their aim , perhaps these works of art were placed there to protect and guard and something.
I'll definitely be creating more Egyptian themed sculptures in the future and I'll look forward to that . More art to follow soon dear friends, have a great new week, Take care π€ππ
Hello dear friends, I hope I'm finding you well on this very late evening. Tonight may I present the pinky purple Pop art close up image of The Lady Shades Hey Face.
I'm having a lot of fun creating these images and it's really giving me the chance to be so artistically creative. Back when this was a life size clay sculpture it was a hard project to be working on .
I always look forward to presenting art work here, I'll try to keep interesting art works coming, more art to follow very soon, hope you're having a fine week, Take care π€βΊοΈπ
Hello dear friends, I'm really finding lately that currently art for me is an endless journey of creative experiments . I suppose I'm just trying to find out if I can come up with some interesting images for possible designs.
Tonight I'd like to present to you the purple hue light figurative sketch rendering of The Lady Shades Her Face. Again this was created from one of my photos I took of the clay statue I sculpted called The Lady Shades Her Face.
This was definitely a favourite sculpture to work on of my past projects, I dearly look forward to showing you further art work very soon, keep well and Take care π€ππ
Hello dear friends, may I present a little bit of creative fun here, as an artist you are always experimenting with designs and colours. And of course shapes especially when sculpting in clay , this here was a colour test for perhaps a future Pop art print.
So I decided to try out this colour on a sketch rendering created from a photo of one of my creature designs . The colour result is perhaps striking and eye catching I hope, I'll keep playing and testing though π and see what else I can come up with.
I wish you a happy new week ahead, more art to follow soon , keep well and Take care ππ€π
Hello dear friends, I thought tonight I'd just place up a black and white photo of The Lost Boy Of Venice in the making.
The sculpture is slowly but surely coming along, I've been busy lately working on my prints. But I now hope to be able to dedicate more time to this project in order to finish it.
I'll be showing another photo of this sculpture in the making very shortly, I'll look forward very much to showing further developments on this.
Hope you're well and have a great weekend when it comes, Take care π€π·ποΈ
Hello dear friends, very recently I presented the original colour photograph of my sculpture called Tut. So tonight I thought that I would present that photo to you as a black and white photo.
I always like how clay sculpture looks in black and white photographs, it seems to give an almost more striking appearance about the piece .
I'm looking forward to presenting the next photo of The Lost Boy Of Venice on here very soon , hope you're having a pleasant week, keep well and Take care ποΈππ€
Hello dear friends, one of the things I'm currently doing is creating a final portfolio of art works. It will be a portfolio of 40 page's of specially selected work's that I have created over the years.
This is the original photograph of my sculpture called Little Boy Tom, and this is one of the photos that will feature in the folio. I'm hoping to present this portfolio to some wonderful people very far away from me.
In the hope that I can start producing cast bronze sculptures on marble bases , to create bronze sculptures has always been a dream of mine.
Happy mid week dear friends, hope you're well, I'll present further art work very soon, Take care ππ€
Hello dear friends, hope I find you well on this late evening, may I present myself here standing next to my canvas wrap print called The Lonely Girl.
I remember when this was a clay sculpture in my little workshop, now all this time on I stand next to it hanging on the wall looking like a painting. Creativity is certainly a wonderful thing in terms of presenting art works in different ways.
I'm really hoping that my next photo I show here will be the first in the making photo of my new sculpture called The Lost Boy Of Venice. This sculpture is based on a 507 year old ghost story π»π»π»π»π» , I'll tell the story as the sculpture develops.
I wish you a great week ahead, Take care ππ€.
Hello dear friends, may I present a black and white super close up of my sculpture called Tut. This is a new photograph of a previous sculpture from awhile ago.
Soon I will show the first in the making photo of my new sculpture called The Lost Boy Of Venice which I'm currently working on.
Hope you're well on this late evening, I wish you the best, Take care in your different parts of the world ππ€.
Hello dear friends, I hope I find you well on this Friday evening, tonight I would like present a new photograph of my sculpture called MMV.
This is my clay sculpture called Mirror Mirror Vampire, I finished this back in 2021 and this was an idea based on a horror theme.
I loved creating this horror sculpture and I'm now thinking about possibly creating a second MMV sculpture which will be a follow up to this horror theme.
Wisdom is so close to the finish after some changes and I will show it very soon finally complete.
I wish you a lovely weekend, keep well and Take care.
