Midoriya had always been a mutterer. It was a habit developed through isolation and his parents. Since he had no one to talk to, he spoke to himself. The sound of talking was comforting even if the voice speaking was his own.
Another thing Midoriya got through his lifelong isolation was this âmagicalâ ability to disassociate. His rejection from society âevolvedâ over the countless years of bullying, but that was beside the point. He was still pretty lonely even with the fan behavior from a select group of losers.
Midoriya would wake up and go to the bathroom to brush his teeth. Within seconds of brushing his teeth, Midoriya would be disassociating. Midoriya would be eating breakfast in the middle of spicy gossip. Heâd be responding to his mother, but nope, his brain flipped a switch, and just like that he was blanking out. Of course, it didn't happen at the same time every day, but it wasn't uncommon.
Midoriya would go to school and the moment Bakugo opened his mouth Midoriya was out of it. Fortunately for him, it seemed that his body was on autopilot in school. Heâd look down at his notebook to see notes he didnât recall taking. One time he even highlighted specific lines in his textbook.
Midoriya knew it was a problem, but it never really happened when he was doing important tasks that he needed to focus on, so he didn't tell anyone. Unfortunately, he nearly fell down countless flights of stairs in front of his mother, so he was set up with a psychiatrist.
It never took long for Bakugo to notice changes in Midoriyaâs behavior. Whenever he made fun of Midoriya or even shoved him occasionally, it was as if Midoriya was looking right through him.
Bakugo couldnât tell if Midoriya was terrified of him or if he was trying to act tough and one-up Bakugo by pretending to be unfazed. The first time he noticed it was over four months ago.
In certain classes where their seating arrangement changed due to carefree teachers, Bakugo sat near his three lackeys. Hifumi was at the desk to his right and Tejio was in front of him.
Midoriya had already taken a seat on his left before the trio entered the classroom. Midoriyaâs seat was by the window, allowing him to gaze out whenever he wanted to.
Bakugo was able to notice the strange behavior, but he never truly figured out what was going on with Midoriya. Midoriya would be writing his notes normally and, out of the blue, his expression would fall as that blank look washed over his face. He couldnât understand what was happening since Midoriya was still writing away, gaze flicking to the board and then down to the paper to write.
Midoriya spent all of his time alone. He had no friends at school, and he always had everything with him, including his lunch. Midoriya would often stay in his seat for the duration of the break.
Bakugo and his lackeys would sometimes poke fun at him for it before they left for the cafeteria. Other times theyâd come back early to study or get away from the crowd of people who were nothing more than nuisances to the three.
Midoriya usually wouldnât react to them coming in. He would often be spotted with his head against the glass, looking at nothing in particular. Bakugo would never admit it, not even to himself, but he couldnât help but be mesmerized by the sight.
The golden sunlight would shine on Midoriya and illuminate him. His black freckles seemed to glow a golden hue, and his pigmented skin seemed to relish the warm sunlight. Midoriyaâs pale, chapped lips seemed to turn a bright red with the exposure to the sun.
Midoriyaâs dark and dazed eyes would light up into a striking electric emerald green, matching the beautiful shade of green his eyelashes would turn as they occasionally fluttered. Bakugo could even see the line where the black patch of his hair turned green when it was usually hidden in his dark hair.
Every once in a while, Bakugo would see Midoriya snap back into whatever he was doing whether that be him writing notes, doing schoolwork, scrolling on his phone, writing his hero analysis, or him looking for something interesting going on outside the window. It seemed unreal the way life seemed to flash back into Midoriya's eyes.
Midoriya may not be exactly conscious of the world around him, but his subconscious was working to keep him afloat. It was a sight to see when he became responsive to things he was hearing or seeing.
Bakugo found it strange, but heâd never pass up a moment to peer at Midoriya without the worry of being caught. He'd convince himself he did it for a good reason after he'd catch himself staring.
On good days, Bakugo would go in early and open the window. He knew deep down why he did it, but how could he ever bring himself to say he wanted to watch the breeze gently blow against Midoriyaâs face to watch the way the curls in his hair would sway.
One day, Midoriya had a boba milk tea. The drink was still sealed and the straw sitting next to the cup on the desk. Midoriya had his notes pulled out as he was planning to do schoolwork before homeroom started.
Bakugo had been watching Midoriya and saw the exact moment Midoriya's brain clocked out. It was normally pretty clear as his face fell as he was writing notes.
After a couple of minutes, Midoriya's gaze rose to the drink. He grabbed it and brought it away from the edge where it was sitting. Midoriya snatched the straw and raised it to stab through the lid.
Bakugo felt himself focus on the sight, never having seen Midoriya eat or drink while in a trance.
Thump.
There was a pause.
Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump.
Now Tejio and Hifumi were looking.
Thump.
It didnât go through, and Hifumi couldnât help but snicker. For Bakugo, he was fully invested in seeing how this was going to go. Midoriyaâs mind was obviously not functioning, but his body was.
Midoriya's body, not being able to accomplish his subconscious mind's goal, raised questions. After all, it was a new situation where Midoriya couldnât do anything while being unresponsive.
Thump.
Midoriya suddenly threw the straw at the desk and flopped back in his seat. In a way, it seemed as if his body was visibly trying to pout. Tejio could not help but let out muffled laughter, trying not to lose it.
Midoriya leaned forward, taking the straw and even holding it up to his eyes. Midoriya seemed as if he was observing the straw. Bakugo knew very well not one thought was going through Midoriyaâs head as messed with the sharp end of the straw. Fixing his grip on it, Midoriya sent it down one more time.
Thump.
Midoriya once again readjusted his grip on the straw and shifted in his seat before sending the straw down again.
Thump.
Thump.
Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump.
Thump.
Midoriya suddenly picked up the drink, sat it back at the corner of the desk, and brushed the straw off his papers before grabbing his pencil and writing as if nothing had happened.
Hifumi and Tejio lost it, laughing. Bakugo was baffled at the sight, wondering how Midoriya did all of that. He didnât understand what was happening or why it happened. Heâd ask about it, but that would reveal he paid attention and cared enough to ask. Heâd rather die than let anyone, especially Deku, know either of those things.
Midoriya seemed to snap out of it a minute later as he took the drink and straw before piercing it easily. He rewarded himself with a drink as he continued the notes. Hifumi and Tejio never suspected a thing while Bakugo was left staring in confusion.
Bakugo knew something was up but decided to never ask. Eventually, he forced himself to stop opening the window and stopped himself from staring too much.
It seemed as if Bakugo wasnât the only admirer as occasionally the window would be left open in the mornings before Midoriya would enter the classroom.
Midoriya was studying in the school's ginormous library. Midoriya always placed himself at a booth alongside the window, enjoying the sunlight while he studied.
Bakugo and his bullies had snuck in, planning on teasing Midoriya in the quiet area. They spotted him and sat down nearby to figure out how to proceed as the librarian would easily spot them. She was a passionate and stern woman who wouldnât hesitate to put them all into detention.
Someone suddenly walked past the trio. They looked over to see it was their class president. He was tall, undeniably charming, always received the highest grades, had the best reputation, and was involved in everything going on in the school. His name was Noya Seika, preferring to be called Seika. His book bag was over his shoulder and his arms were holding a stack of papers.
Bakugo and his two followers watched as Seika approached the booth Midoriya was at. Midoriya was casually writing his notes, at peace with the silence.
Seika marched right up to the booth with his charming smile. Everything about his approach was sincere, not an ounce of pity visible in his determined eyes.
Midoriya seemed to notice someone standing by his booth and jumped, covering his mouth. âI am so sorry! Was I mumbling? Iâll be quiet!â panicked Midoriya, whispering only to be met with the sight of his class president.
âNo need to apologize, you werenât mumbling. I was wondering if I may sit with you?â asked Seika with a chuckle, shaking his head.
Midoriya looked at Seika suspiciously before deciding to just let him sit down. It would be extremely rude of him to reject Seika even if he was doing it for a dare or had ulterior motives.
âOh! Yes, you can sit with me,â approved Midoriya, motioning for Seika to sit down.
Seika smiled, appreciating Midoriya letting him join him. Setting down the stack of papers, he rolled his shoulders in relief. Midoriya peered at him curiously, not used to ever being with good company. Seika sat his bag down and slid into the booth.
âThanks again for letting me sit with you. I love the student council, but they make it hard to get the paperwork done for the upcoming festival,â ranted Seika, situating the stack of papers before him.
Midoriya, feeling accepted enough to be able to ask questions, decided to ask one of his own. âAll of those are just for the festival? Whyâd you choose the library out of all places to get stuff done?â
Seika looked at Midoriya, seemingly surprised. The bullies couldnât understand what Seika was doing. They were already pissed they had gotten their chance taken away from them. It didn't help that Seika was now acting strange after seeking out Midoriya. Bakugo looked ready to break his book bag strap.
Seika tilted his head to the side, happy to answer. âYep! I'm in charge of approving and disapproving every single classâ activity. Usually, every student in every class has an idea. So, we have about four classes per year and each class has about 20-24 students. I have to get through all of them a week prior. Oh, and about your second question, I figured youâd be here.â
Midoriya was nodding, listening to Seika until the random and strange words escaped his mouth.
I figured youâd be here.
Midoriya stared at Seika in disbelief, worried he hit his head or got struck with a quirk. âSeika-san? Are you okay?â
âOf course, Iâm alright Midoriya. Why wouldnât I be?â questioned Seika innocently.
Midoriya shook his head, fixing his notebook. âNo reason. Well, Iâll let you get to your work.â
Seika slightly pouted, watching as Midoriya seemed to put all his focus back on his work. Seika stared for another moment before going to his work, flying through the papers.
The bullies had been snickering at the expressions of Midoriya. They had never seen him look so confused and worried for someone. What made it even better was how Midoriyaâs concern was because someone wanted to be around him. Bakugo couldnât help but be completely invested in the scene similar to a grandma watching a soap opera.
When the three saw the way Seika gazed at Midoriya lovingly, they all felt their faces drop.
The gray-haired bully, Hifumi, started, âNo.â
Bakugo interjected his lackeyâs moment with a helpful, âFucking.â
âWay,â the brown-haired bully, Tejio, cut Bakugo off, finishing their little epiphany.
âSeika likes Deku.â The three said in unison.
They all watched like stalkers as the two worked together in comfortable silence. Bakugo saw a mindless haze coat Midoriyaâs eyes as his head raised from the page he was staring at and looked out the window. Seika noticed the lack of Midoriyaâs scribbling and looked up. Noticing he was in a trance, Seika glanced out the window to see nothing particularly interesting going on.
Looking back at Midoriya, Seika shamelessly took a moment to admire Midoriya. Bakugo couldnât help but struggle to swallow the lump in his throat. He knew he had looked at Midoriya the exact same way, infatuated by the stunning view. He could see the way Seikaâs grip on his pen just oh-so-slightly tightened as he stopped writing.
Eventually, Seika waved a hand in front of Midoriyaâs face. Absolutely no response from Midoriya. Bakugo, Hifumi, and Tejio all freeze at the sight of Midoriya being completely out of it. Seika decided not to shout and tried to wave again. With no response again, he gently poked Midoriyaâs hand. Midoriya instantly snapped out of it. Midoriya was quick to shoot his gaze over to be met with Seikaâs kind expression.
âYou were staring off Midoriya. You didnât even respond to me waving,â explained Seika, looking at Midoriya in wonder.
Midoriya grinned, rubbing the back of his neck. âIâm so sorry. I didnât mean to ignore you. I have a dissociative disorder. It only ever really happens in school. I promise I wasnât ignoring you.â
Seika smiled, waving his hand dismissively. âNonsense. I assumed you were daydreaming so no hard feelings. Alsoâa dissociative disorder?â
It seemed to finally click for Bakugo. The feeling of dread slowly creeped into his chest. The Hifumi and Tejio look flabbergasted, not knowing what a dissociative disorder is.
Midoriya nodded, looking at Seika uneasily. âYeah, I was diagnosed with it after my mother took me to a doctor after an incident. Itâs really frustrating.â
âOh really? Iâve heard about it before, but I donât know the details of how it works. Is it hard to focus?â pondered Seika.
Happy to explain his personal experience with the disorder, Midoriya twirled his pencil. âWell, mine is mild in terms of my mental state. Whenever I get triggered or induce it, my mind will lock me out of my body. My body just runs on its own. It causes disconnection and lack of continuity between my thoughts, memories, surroundings, and actions. I basically escape reality.â
Hifumi and Tejio let their eyes widen as their gazes full of shock met. They figured Midoriya was an antisocial loser. Now it was brought to their attention that this was because of a mental disorder that they probably caused. Bakugo seethed from where he was sitting. He couldnât understand how he had been so blind. It was obvious it was disordered behavior. It was obvious Midoriya had been dissociating. He had been admiring Midoriya and observing that he never actually reflected or saw it as something that was burdening Midoriya.
âWoah, so like depersonalization disorder?â
âI mean⊠kind of. Iâm not exactly observing myself from outside my body and I never feel like Iâm in a dream, but I do feel a disconnection or detachment from my body and thoughts,â elaborated Midoriya, not sure if he was making any sense.
Seika bowed his head, taking one of Midoriyaâs hands in his two. âThank you so much for sharing such personal information with me. I hope I didnât make you uncomfortable in any way. If I did, I humbly apologize for not realizing this may be something you are sensitive about.â
Midoriya felt his eyes widen, placing his free hand over Seikaâs. âOh no, please donât apologize! You asked me about it kindly and respectfully. I wouldnât have talked about it if I didnât want to.â
Seika looked up at Midoriya relieved. âIâm glad. Still, Iâm sorry you have to deal with that. Is it affecting your studies?â
âNot too much. I still get everything written down. All I have to do is just review the notes I wrote while dissociating. Itâs a pain, but there's nothing else I can do,â sighed Midoriya, removing his hand to flip the page of his textbook.
Seika smiled, removing his two hands from Midoriyaâs hand. âYou are very studious.â
Midoriya smiled at his notes bitterly. âWell, that's all I can do.â
Seika shook his head, looking at Midoriya adoringly. âI doubt that. I feel like you could do anything you put your mind to.â
Midoriya looked ready to argue but bit his cheek and nodded instead. âThanks.â
Seika frowned, he had said the wrong thing and Midoriya settled for silence. That was the barrier he was determined to break. He didnât want their dynamic to be the weak quirkless student who believed heâd be disciplined if he attempted to defend himself and the powerful authoritative student with a quirk who barely had to lift a finger to get Midoriya expelled. Although technically thatâs what it already was.
Seika looked at Midoriya who buried himself in his book. âIâm sorry to disturb you, but why do you wear such a face? Do you not think you can achieve anything you put your mind to?â
Midoriya felt his eyes widen, looking up to meet Seika looking at him with such a strange look. Midoriya could sense anger, but none of it was directed at him. Midoriya could see a glint of desire and swallowed hard.
âOh, itâs not that Seika-san. Iâm just not used to uhhâŠ,â trailed off Midoriya, fumbling to come up with an excuse or any kind of response.
âNo, donât feel pressured to answer. I was just worried I had upset you,â confessed Seika, once again stunning Midoriya.
Midoriya looked at Seika and smiled kindly at him, tilting his head gently. âDonât worry, you havenât upset me.â
Seika felt his posture straighten, looking at Midoriya lovingly.
Bakugo was quick to move, he wasnât planning on letting this random extra waltz his way into Midoriyaâs life. The end of the school year was rapidly approaching, and he was not going to have Seika be an irritating memory.
âDeku.â
Midoriya jumped but looked up to where Bakugo was standing. âKacchan?â
Bakugo swallowed his pride and decided to use his only excuse to hang out with Midoriya without it sounding like it was his idea. âThe old hag has been bugging me and wants you and Inko to visit soon.â
Midoriya perked up, all the attention that had once been Seikaâs was gone. âOh, of course! Iâll let Mom know.â
âWhatever. Now get the hell out of here, all the clubs left already,â demanded Bakugo, pulling out one toxic tactic to separate Midoriya from a potential friend or lover.
Midoriya smiled, rising from his seat. âOh, youâre right. Thanks for letting me know Kacchan. Seika, Iâll be taking my leave.â
Seika waved Midoriya off with a disappointed expression. âSee you around Midoriya.â
Bakugo walked back over to where his lackeys were with a wide smile. Hifumi had watched the entire encounter with a dropped jaw. Tejio was holding back laughter, enjoying the look on Seikaâs face.
âNo way you just did that,â snickered Tejio.
Hifumi nodded his head in approval. âWhile Iâm impressed Midoriya listened to you, Iâm even more shocked you didnât bother looking at Seika.â
Bakugo shrugged. âI didnât have to look. I sent him the message that I had Midoriya wrapped around my finger.â
âYouâre evil dude,â sighed Hifumi.
Bruh I wrote this back in 2022 and found this deep in the google docs sorry if it's trash, but I honestly kinda like it even two years later
Midoriya was a gem at UA High. No one really knew anything about the mysterious beauty that was best friends with Hatsume in the support department. Still, that never stopped people from blindly pursuing the teen. People were so ashamed when Midoriya rejected them that no one ever told their friends when they planned on confessing.
Countless people have been spotted slipping notes and talking with Midoriya in a quiet area. For some reason, itâs like an unspoken rule that being rejected by Midoriya is so humiliating that if anyone knew about it, it could send a person into a coma.
Class 1-A eventually caught drift of the mysterious beauty who was in the support department. Fortunately for them, they were given an opportunity to approach him without looking too weird. Aizawa, too lazy to deal with it himself, told his students to head to the department to discuss any modifications they needed for their hero costumes. For once, none of the students complained about his laziness.
âOh, Iâm so excited,â beamed Uraraka, happy to finally meet the boy who has the attention of the school.
âMe too. I think this will be a wonderful experience to get closer to the support department,â agreed Iida, unaware Uraraka was talking about meeting Midoriya.
Kirishima waved his hand with a smile. âI just want to meet this dude everyone seems to have a crush on!â
âAgreed dude! I feel like everyone in this school has tried to shoot their shot at Midoriya!â supported Kaminari, throwing his arms to the sky.
Mina looked over at Kirishima and Kaminari with an excited grin. âI bet heâs super sweet! That would explain why I havenât heard anything bad about him!â
Uraraka nodded vigorously, clasping her hands behind her back. âIt would be great to make another friend. I just hope he doesnât blow us up like Hatsume does,â shivered Uraraka at all the memories of Hatsumeâs gadgets exploding when she was around.
Bakugo rolled his eyes at his classmates. At the end of the day, they were a bunch of overly friendly idiots. Still, he was a bit curious to see Midoriya. Since he started UA High, heâd constantly heard about Midoriya, but never saw him
A part of Bakugo was left wondering how Midoriya felt. It must have been a jarring experience to go from being the laughingstock of Aldera Junior High to being the unachievable jewel of UA High. He knew that if he had been in Midoriyaâs shoes, heâd kill anyone who asked him out. They were here to become heroes, not worry about pointless things like dating.
Taking the lead, Iida walked into the room. Hatsume happened to have a crush on Iida, so he was the best person to enter first. It seemed that Uraraka had already sacrificed Iida even if he hadnât been willing.
âIida!â cheered Hatsume, rushing over.
âHello, Hatsume. Iâm assuming Eraserhead has told you about us coming,â greeted Iida, bowing his head as he stepped in to let his classmates also enter.
Hatsume nodded with a bright grin. âYeah, I got all hands on deck for class 1-A.â
Midoriya made his way over with a clipboard to where the class was waiting. âMei, I finished up the blueprints to match your detailing.â
Hatsume grabbed the clipboard eagerly, flipping the pages. âAmazing work Izuku!â Seeming to realize that Midoriya hadnât really interacted with the hero students in person, she started introductions. âIida, have you met Midoriya yet?â
Iida was stunned, staring at Midoriya. He completely understood why everyone asked him out. Midoriya was gorgeous despite being arguably plain.
Short, but fluffy green curls with a mixture of black covered his head. His bangs were short and he had strips of hair by his cheeks that curled oh so perfectly. His eyelashes were long and helped shape his big round eyes. His cheeks were coated in freckles with four dark ones in the middle of both cheeks.
âNo, I havenât. Itâs a pleasure to meet you Midoriya. I appreciate you putting up with us all year,â thanked Iida, bowing his head to show utmost respect. After all, the only reason they could be heroes is because of those in the support department.
Midoriya smiled charmingly at Iida before waving his hand. âNo need to thank me. You hero students deserve the best gear so itâs our fault if it canât handle the amount of work youâre required to put in.â
Iida grinned, feeling a bit relieved to hear they werenât being blamed for damaging their gear. They were often reprimanded by their teachers for being reckless even though damage to their costumes should be expected. Nonetheless, Iida commented, âI never thought of it that way.â
âWell, start thinking of it that way now! Itâs wonderful meeting you, Iida. I hope you see you around here more often,â chuckled Midoriya, happy to meet someone who wasnât just interested in dating him. Besides, it was clear he liked Hatsume so he had nothing to worry about.
After introductions were carried out, Kirishima and Bakugo were assigned to Midoriya to gear repairs and upgrades. Uraraka and Mina shook their fist to the sky and cursed Kirishima and Bakugo. How come the good things in life never happened to them?
As Midoriya guided them to his workstation, they finally were able to get a good look at Midoriya. To the surprise of both Bakugo and Kirishima, Midoriya was muscular.
They assumed he was matching Hatume as he was wearing a black tank top. It showed off his developed arms and the outline of his abs could be seen because of the tight fabric. Anything lower was hidden by the baggy uniform. Midoriya had an All Might charm clipped onto one of the belt loops on his waist.
A pretty, red headband was tied loosely around Midoriyaâs neck. Bakugo assumed it was to cover his nose and mouth when messing with the equipment. Kirishima on the other hand believed it was purely cosmetic. Midoriya seemed like the type of person to want to work in style.
Wanting to break the ice, Kirishima decided to use the only piece of information he knew about Midoriya. âIs it true you get asked out at least once a day?â
Not missing a beat, Midoriya smiled as he answered, âNot really, no,â as he pulled out his files on class 1-Aâs hero suits.
âWait, guys donât ask you out?â asked Kirishima with wide eyes, feeling a bit betrayed by everyone who told him about the rumor. It wasnât that he thought Midoriya was a disappointment after being told he wasnât heavily sought after, but it seemed that everyone was in on a joke Midoriya wasnât a part of.
A couple of seconds of painful silence passed. Midoriya licked his finger to begin flipping through the pages before smirking. Slowly raising his head to look at Kirishima, Midoriya clarified, âThey do, I just donât go.
The way those words effortlessly came out of Midoriyaâs mouth with such confidence was perfect. Kirishima felt his face heat up and he quickly covered his face with both hands. âYou are way too cool.â
While Kirishima was having the time of his life, Bakugo was watching in silence. It was nice to watch Midoriya being his true self without having to worry about being ridiculed. Besides, this was Midoriyaâs territory and Bakugo refused to make the same mistake as he did in the past.
Choosing to keep his head down and mouth shut, Bakugo hoped Midoriya would continue to talk casually with Kirishima. He took it upon himself to distance himself from Midoriya, not wanting to bother him any more than he most likely already was.
âThank you,â chuckled Midoriya as he found the sections about Bakugo and Kirishima in his files. What Midoriya was not about to tell the duo was that heâd already had this conversation a dozen times with all the people who tried flirting with him.
It was quiet for a moment. Kirishima was curious about who Midoriya was as a person, and it seemed that he had one question that would help him know what Midoriya valued. âIs there a reason why you havenât accepted anyone's confession?â
Midoriya shrugged, putting the book down to look at Kirishima. âNot really. At first, I just wasnât interested in the people that confessed and I wasnât ready for a relationship. Now⊠I canât trust that the person confessing wants to be with me or if they just want to see if theyâll be the lucky one who is picked.â
Sorrow overcame Kirishima, and he could not stop the frown from spreading on his face. He didnât realize just how much this situation sucked for Midoriya. It never crossed his mind how Midoriya couldnât trust that anyone truly loved him because asking out the mysterious support student became a trend.
âThat sucks dude,â sighed Kirishima, rubbing his face.
Bakugo rolled his eyes. âOf course, all those stupid extras think itâs funny to play with someoneâs feelings.â
âFor real! Itâs a shame,â agreed Kirishima, not noticing how Midoriyaâs head shot up in Bakugoâs direction.
âYou really shouldnât call everyone extras, Kacchan. It leaves a bad impression,â teased Midoriya as he focused all his attention on Bakugo.
âFuck that shit. I swear this entire school has always been testing our classâs patience, so I have no sympathy to spare. Now theyâre treating you as a trophy which is fucking gross,â hissed Bakugo, crossing his arms as he let his overprotective side show shamelessly.
Midoriya let his smug grin slowly soften into a shy smile. He enjoyed having people stand up for him. While he enjoys the attention it brings him, he wishes the attention wasnât simply objectifying him. He was more than a pretty face and a thing to win.
Kirishimaâs jaw dropped. âBakugo? You know Midoriya?â
Bakugo looked away from Midoriya and scoffed, âIâve known this nerd since we were little brats.â
âYeah, we just fell out of touch in middle school,â recalled Midoriya, trying to keep Bakugo from being a target of unwanted attention.
âThatâs awesome! If youâve survived knowing Bakugo this long, feel free to hang out with our class!â cheered Kirishima, ignoring the hissing of Bakugoâs quirk.
Midoriya was glowing as he accepted the offer. âThat would be amazing! You all were awesome at the Sports Festival.â
As Midoriya turned all his attention to the suits, Bakugo felt comfortable enough to ask, âSo, you still do all that analysis in your notebook?â
âYeah!â answered Midoriya quickly, not bothering to look up from his stack of papers.
âJoin one of our quirk training classes. Youâll be taking notes for the next week,â offered Bakugo, knowing his peers would appreciate a description of their quirk and ways to utilize and improve it.
Not only did Bakugo and Kirishima leave that room with the best model of their hero costume yet, but they also left with a new ally. They achieved becoming friends with the UA heartthrob and confirmed that he was a stunning and smart person.
It was safe to say class 1-A took Midoriya under their wing after he started hanging out with them. It also became a secret bet to see who Midoriya would end up dating. The highest bets were between Kirishima, Bakugo, and Todoroki.
Everyone lost. Midoriya ended up remaining single his entire time at UA High. He knew he was perfect and didnât need anyone to prove it.
Mina was devilishly tapping her fingers together as she stared at Midoriya. âSorry, but you lost the bet.â
âI didnât even agree to the bet,â argued Midoriya nervously, not recalling Mina even stating it was a bet.
âNonsense,â hushed Mina, rising from where she was sitting to grab her phone that was currently charging.
Midoriya groaned from where he was sitting. The sound caught the attention of Uraraka who was returning to the common room from filling up her water bottle. âDeku? Whatâs wrong?â
Midoriya looked up at Uraraka in despair. âItâs Mina.â
âWhat is she up to this time,â remarked Uraraka with an amused grin.
âSheâs forcing me to do something because I lost a bet I never agreed to,â explained Midoriya weakly, sinking into the couch in despair. When it came to Mina, nothing could be done once she had an idea.
Uraraka nodded, sitting down next to Midoriya. âIâm sure it wonât be that bad. Besides, itâs not like she can force you to do anything outside the dorms.â
Relaxing a bit at the reminder it was storming outside, Midoriya took a sip out of his water bottle. âYouâre right. It canât be that bad right? Sheâll probably force me to play a little prank on someone or something.â
âProbably, either that or sheâll make you do her homework,â laughed Uraraka, recalling how Mina once tried getting Momo to do her work but was forced to have a tutoring session instead.
Mina rushed back in with her phone and a bright smile. âI want you to recreate this!â
Midoriya raised a brow, letting Mina squish onto the couch with him and Uraraka. Mina had a video pulled up and it was some guy standing in heavy rain strutting, doing air splits, and backflips over music.
Uraraka couldnât hold back her laugh. Mina immediately proved the both of them wrong when they assumed the dare would be her usual silly antics.
âI canât do that! Iâm going to fall! Besides, if anyone sees me out there-!â argued Midoriya in a panic, trying to do whatever it took to get out of this.
Mina shook her head and pressed a finger against Midoriyaâs lips to silence him. âNope. Look, Iâll be nice, and I wonât force you to wear the big fluffy coat and ripped jeans.â
Midoriya sighed in defeat, not seeing much harm in the dare when no lightning was outside. The only risk was him getting sick and he decided to set down some conditions of his own.
âHave a towel and warm tea prepared for me. If I end up getting sick you owe me katsudon until Iâm recovered,â ordered Midoriya, willing to do the dare, but wanting to have some say in what happened.
Mina extended her deal with a wide smile. âDeal! Uraraka, would you be an angel and grab that stuff? Iâm going to go out to record this!â
Midoriya wilted, forgetting that Mina loved having everything on her phone. He couldnât blame her though, some of these simple funny moments were nice to look back on when things got rough. Uraraka smirked and threw herself up. âFine, but Iâm going to need that video for myself.â
Kirishima was curious about what was going on and approached Uraraka. âHey, where are Mina and Midoriya heading off to?â
Uraraka crossed her arms with a grin. âMina is forcing Midoriya to recreate some video out in the storm.â
âNo way! I gotta see this!â laughed Kirishima, immediately pulling out his phone and texting one of his multiple group chats. He sent the quick message âCome down to the common room immediately, it's important,â to Kaminari, Sero, Bakugo, and Jiro.
Kaminari and Sero came down along with Sato, Ojiro, and Tokoyami. Jiro came down with Momo and Hagakure, and Bakugo came down alone. It seemed that Bakugo thought it was something serious because he practically exploded when he saw the rest of the class wasnât there.
âWhat the hell Shitty Hair?â shouted Bakugo, immediately sending off some small explosions.
âWoah man, calm down! Everyone, follow me to the window!â instructed Kirishima, not trying to set Bakugo off even more.
It only took seconds for the group to understand why Kirishima told them to come down urgently. Mina and Midoriya were standing in the open field as rain was crashing down. Mina had her phone held up while Midoriya was doing mind-boggling flips toward her.
While Midoriya could do a perfect split, he had trained kicking enough that he could fake it. If he did an air split fast enough, no one would be able to tell his left leg didnât perfectly come up all the way. When Midoriya reached Mina he managed to land his last flip without falling and went straight into a backflip.
Once Midoriya stuck the landing of his back flip he took in a quick breath, jumped into the air and shot his legs out, faking the split like a pro.
Mina collapsed to the ground, cackling. Midoriya crossed his arms and looked up at the sky that was dark and pouring down rain. Midoriya then looked down at Mina, said something, and suddenly Mina was sprinting back toward the dorm building.
Uraraka was already standing by the door with towels and warm tea waiting for them in the kitchen. Mina launched herself inside, the rain covering her face and mixing with her tears. âMy phone!â
âYeah, thatâs my bad,â chuckled Midoriya, knowing that they had to retake the dance at least ten times before he got it right.
Walking further into the dorm, planning on going to the kitchen, the two froze when they saw the large group standing near the windows. Only the group was staring at them in disbelief and glee.
Midoriya bolted off before anyone could even ask him where he learned how to do any of that. Mina on the other hand didnât stick around because she had to make sure her phone was okay. She couldnât lose the video after just getting it!
Midoriya was fresh out of the shower when he texted Uraraka that he was sorry for not sticking around for the tea she made him. It seemed that Uraraka didnât mind too much, even going as far as to say sheâd reheat it and send someone up to deliver it to him.
Feeling bad and not wanting her to go out of her way to do something she didnât have to, Midoriya frantically typed it wasnât necessary and it was no big deal. A knock interrupted Midoriyaâs guilt as he stared at the typing bubble from Uraraka. Rising from where he was sitting, Midoriya approached his door and pulled it open.
Bakugo stood in the doorway with a wide smirk. âSo Izuku. Care to explain?â
Midoriya yelped, backing into his room. âKacchan! What are you doing here?â
âPink Cheeks. Now, tell me why you were out there performing like a goddamn acrobat,â demanded Bakugo, inviting himself in with two cups of tea.
âItâs really not as interesting as you may think. Mina told me I lost a bet and she dared me to recreate a video,â elaborate Midoriya swiftly, not wanting to beat around the bush when it came to Bakugo.
âGo figure. Why do you always manage to get wrapped up in her dumb schemes,â grumbled Bakugo, crashing onto Midoriya's bed.
Midoriya smiled a bit, looking at his desk where Bakugo managed to put down the tea without him noticing. âIf I knew how, I wouldn't have been out there.â
Bakugo scoffed, staring at Midoriya where he was standing. âWhere the hell did you learn how to do a split?â
âI canât really do a split, but after using my legs so much I guess I got more flexible,â assumed Midoriya. He didnât know how he managed to get so limber. He did his usual stretches to avoid injuries but didnât go out of his way to work on flexibility.
âIt sure as hell looked like a split to me,â argued Bakugo. It didnât take a genius to see a true split.
Midoriya smiled, sitting next to Bakugo on the bed. âWhen the rain clears up we can head to the gym and see for sure.â
âAlright, just donât cry when you find out Iâm right,â professed Bakugo confidently, making a home on Midoriyaâs bed.
âYouâre an idiot,â laughed Midoriya, finally lying down next to Bakugo.
âShut up!â
For Plot Reasons, Izuku's dating a random OC
I, Izuku Midoriya was the pushover nerd at Aldera Junior High. Pushover was an understatement, but I digress. I was bullied by close to everyone in this school, verbally that is. Physically, I was bullied by a trio I've known since I was a toddler.
For Midoriya, things had always been that way and from the looks of it, things would continue to be that way.
It wasnât until Midoriya's 2nd year of Junior High that he came home one day to see his mother packing boxes. His dad was home and they were moving into a bigger house. They were far enough away that it was ideal for Midoriya to switch schools.
Midoriya had been through three major changes in one single day. A new home, a new school, and a new relationship with his Dad. Hisashi was overjoyed to be home, sitting at dinner and wanting to know everything he had missed while he was away for business. Midoriya was happy to talk, glad his Dad was back from Germany, and openly excited to be home.
Midoriya was overjoyed with the sudden lavish lifestyle. He and Inko had lived comfortably in their small apartment with their minimalistic life before. Midoriya had a larger room to fit more bookshelves and All Might merchandise. It was a very exciting discovery of Midoriya.
The best thing that had happened out of it all was Midoriya sat between Inko and Hisashi as they all huddled together on their gigantic lounging couch.
Midoriya started his new school and quickly gained the interest of everyone around him. Midoriya stayed quiet about his academic ability and interests. It was safer for him to be boring than to be targeted for his interests. This caused people to label him as the mysterious new kid.
Midoriya was quite fair and was relatively reserved and shy. It wasnât until he got his first love confession that the majority of the guys assumed he was a girl. Midoriya couldn't blame them considering he never talked.
Midoriya had to unfortunately explain that he was a guy and that he was uninterested in dating. He had been asked out as a prank far too many times to allow himself to even consider accepting a confession.
Midoriya's attitude quickly got everyone: boys, girls, and genderqueer people to ask Midoriya out. People were desperate to see Midoriya chose someone. Everyone who asked genuinely liked Midoriya and wanted the chance to get to know him better.
Midoriya developed a friend group outside of school. Midoriya also, as usual, had new haters inside of school. It wasn't a concern of his considering he has the help of the staff and his peers to get him through the dumbasses who wanted to make him miserable.
It wasnât until Midoriya was in the middle of a sleepover that he not only realized he liked feminine clothing, but he liked the rush the attention gave him. If he hadn't been dared to crossdress, he would've never known.
Midoriya grew more confident as he started dressing up more for school, putting on more âfeminineâ accessories and clothes. He tried all types of styles. Everyone loved to see what new ideas he had for outfit ideas.
Hisashi was very accepting of this new side of his son and even offered to take him shopping. Every Saturday the Midoriya's would go shopping and have a family day.
Popularity in school grew despite Midoriya's lack of friends. Midoriya had one single person he was close with. It was the class president Naito Matsuta. Everyone thought that the two were dating after months of the duo spending every second they could together.
What nobody knew was despite them being in a relationship, they wanted to try some things out and decided to have an "open" relationship.
They spent the most time together because of their responsibilities as President and Vice President of their class. It was only the occasional times when Midoriya was busy or Naito was busy that the two went to other people.
Midoriya outside of Naito, had found a person who craved their attention. The duo liked not having any strings attached as it made things easier.
What Midoriya wasnât aware of was during some time in their time of going out occasionally, the guy had gotten into a relationship. The relationship he was in was not an open relationship and Midoriya was a side piece that the girlfriend never knew about.
When word got out, it blew up. Everyone accused Midoriya of being a home wrecker and that he was a whore. Naito heard the news and was quick to help clear the air. Naito explained they were dating, but had an open relationship to relieve additional stress.
Midoriya discussed that they had been meeting each other far longer than he had a girlfriend. Once everyone realized Midoriya was not at all to blame, they backed off and went after the boyfriend even though that's what they should've done from the start.
The guy mustâve convinced his girlfriend Midoriya was some crazy psychopath as the two remained together and the girl despised Midoriya. Midoriya didnât see her as a threat as he maintained his high status, popularity, and position as Vice President.
Naito had grown more protective of Midoriya after the incident. The two quickly agreed to close their relationship, more than content with one another.
Now that people knew they had a chance, they persisted in asking Midoriya out and requesting a hookup. Midoriya continued to reject people and soon started explaining he wasn't in an open relationship because of the incident.
Gima had tried spreading rumors, but no one believed her. Midoriyaâs old playtoy, Hiroto Toyozo, would still try to meet up. Inko and Hisashi didnât know anything had been going on so they happily let Hiroto inside to wait in Midoriyaâs room until he got home.
Izuku had called Naito sobbing and Hiroto was banned from the house. Hisashi almost killed Hiroto, but Inko stopped him before he could get his hands on the boy.
It wasnât until Midoriya and Naito had to interact with the crazy girl that Midoriya saw her as a threat. She had this snide smirk and always had her gaze focused on Naito. Nonetheless, the duo remained unbothered.
There had been a competition going on all over Musutafu where aspiring directors were to write an play. Whoever wrote the best play would have their creation performed in front of all participating schools (only certain classes attended the show). It was a big deal, to say the least.
This prissy little bitch, Gima Erisa, the crazy girlfriend, had won. She was getting permission from the President and Vice President for some unknown reason. Naito was unimpressed, going to excuse her. Midoriya stopped him and challenged Gima.
âWhy do you need our permission? If your play is appropriate, then there should be no reason or us to give you permission hmm?â
Gima felt her face pale, she had been caught. Midoriya knew if she made one wrong move and it hadnât been approved, she could be expelled without question. Naito noticed this and smirked, resting a hand on Midoriyaâs thigh and squeezing.
âYes, there is no reason you should need approval. You will be representing our school so we have high expectations of your play Misa. Now leave, we have important matters to attend to.â
Their âimportant matterâ was them giving each other their undivided attention for way too many minutes. They finished their paperwork shortly after.
Weeks passed and soon the play arrived. The participating schools arrived. It consisted of four schools. Midoriyaâs school, Rebun Junior High, Katsuro Junior High, and then Aldera Junior High. The schools flooded the biggest theatre in the area and were all excited to be out of school for half the day.
As President and Vice President, Midoriya and Katsuro High School were seated in the front with the other school's Presidents and Vice Presidents. They had all met each other on several occasions for school fairs, academic competitions, sports, and other extracurricular activities.
They had all gotten along perfectly and became a close group of friends. They all knew about the situation revolving around Naito and Midoriya and were highly supportive through all of it. The President and Vice President of Aldera Junior High apologized for their past mistakes which were later forgiven.
The adult staff was in the back, they were the first line of defense if anything happened. Midoriya and Naito were called to the stage to give a quick rundown of what was happening, how they were amazed and proud of all participants, and thanked for the schoolâs cooperation for showing up.
Midoriya quickly went over safety and evacuation procedures in case of emergencies along with explaining the roles of the staff and them as Presidents and Vice Presidents in the case of emergencies.
Katsuki Bakugoâs eyes met Midoriya's figure and instantly felt himself freeze. He hadnât seen or heard of Midoriya since Mitsuki told him that Midoriya moved.
Bakugo didnât think Midoriya was still nearby when she said âmovedâ so he was pretty stunned to see him. Midoriya was in their school uniform which consisted of a grey collared shirt with a black vest, and a red pleated short skirt, with black tights.
Naito was wearing black trousers, a grey collared shirt, and a black blazer that had red accents. Their calm and kind aura was misleading considering they were the definition of a scary power couple. Midoriyaâs confidence in being gender nonconforming and Naito's confidence to eye fuck him was everything.
They made their way down to their seats after receiving applause and regrouped with their friends. The play quickly started and Gima was on the stage.
It only took five minutes for Midoriya to realize what she was doing. It took ten minutes for the rest of Midoriyaâs school to realize what was happening. Everyone else was left in the dark but was eating up the performance.
Midoriya and Naito were already agreeing that Gima would be expelled for how inappropriate the play was. The six others sitting with them were quick to agree, appalled at how low Gima stooped. It seemed that the performers were even caught off guard by the play.
âSheâs going off script,â gasped one of the Presidents.
Midoriyaâs nails dug into chair arms as they watched. He was trying to restrain himself and not go up there and claw Gimaâs eyes out. The actors noticed what she was doing too and none were willing to cooperate. Gima slowly realized nothing was working how she hoped it would.
The aggressive behavior of her body language and voice had Midoriya on their feet.
At one point, she snapped at the actor who was in the role of Midoriya. âYou home-wrecking bitch! If you couldâve just been satisfied with one man then none of this wouldâve happened!â
Midoriya felt his eyes widen and his heart clenched in his chest. Naito looked at Midoriya in distress, wanting to make sure Midoriya wasnât going to cry. All of the other presidents and vice presidents looked over all well, all worried for Midoriya.
What none of them expected was to see the look of humiliation and rage in Midoriyaâs eyes. They all were now worried about the state Gima would be in once Midoriya was done with her.
It progressively got worse to where the actors started to actually argue and yell at one another. The crowd watched, mesmerized. No one knew this wasnât supposed to be happening so this was spectacular acting in their eyes.
âYou ruined⊠everything! You stupid slut!â shouted Gima, looking directly at Midoriya.
Unable to stop himself, he shouted back. âIâm the slut? Youâre the fucking slut fish-lips!â
The group of his friends were all gasping and shaking Midoriya, cheering him on for defending himself. The crowd was confused. No one but the students at Midoriyaâs school knew where to look to find the person who belonged to the pissed-off voice.
The majority of the crowd cheered for Midoriya, loving the scary side of their class's vice president. This got some others from the random schools to cheer as well.
Gima felt her eyes widen a bit, realizing there was no turning back. This performance would be her last after sheâs expelled per request of both Midoriya, Naito, and the rest of the schools' presidents and vice presidents.
It wasnât until Gima physically attacked the uncooperative actor who was supposed to dehumanize Midoriya as a person, that Midoriya snapped. Rising from his seat, at the side, Midoriya vocally hissed.
âThatâs enough. This is ending now.â
Midoriya marched up the side steps of the stage, tossing off his heels swiftly with each step he went up. Gima noticed and started running. Midoriya made a straight beeline for her grabbing her by her collar and throwing her backwards.
The crowd roared in the section Midoriyaâs school was in. The three remaining schools all felt their jaws drop at the sight of a vice president playing a part in the performance.
Bakugo and his two lackeys Hifumi and Tejio watched in amazement. Midoriya was confidently running on that stage, in a skirt, with an enraged expression. This was not the "Deku" they knew.
âDude, I donât think Dekuâs acting,â whispered Hifumi excitedly.
âDeku looks fucking pissed,â laughed Tejio, enjoying this way too much.
Bakugo knew that look all too well. He had seen many occasions where Inko wore that haunting look of rage when her son got hurt. Midoriya wanted blood, and Bakugo wanted to see Midoriya get that.
The presidents and vice presidents were chanting, âBeat her ass! Beat her ass!â
The group of students from Midoriyaâs school were also cheering on Midoriya. Many of them knew Midoriya wasnât acting which resulted in their scream cheering. This amount of support directed towards Midoriya shocked all of Aldreaâs students.
They had never expected Midoriya to rise in popularity in a way that would influence a whole school. They couldn't be too surprised after the initial surprise to see he was the vice class president at his new school.
Midoriya looked at her in disgust as she scurried to her feet like a pathetic coward. She couldnât face him, she knew sheâd fail at wherever he tried to do. She got blocked by one of the actors and when she turned around to run, Midoriya was already there.
âFuck you!â
Clap!
Midoriya had drawn his hand back and sent it flying forward into Gimaâs face. Gima stumbled back from the force, immediately holding her face with the incredible sting that spread across her entire cheek.
Everyone gasped. Some people jumped and others went wild, scream-cheering and clapping at such an excellent performance.
Gima ran and Midoriya bolted after her, from what the audience could see, Midoriya tackled her to the ground. Midoriya held her to the ground while shouting at one of the people backstage to send out her understudy.
The group panicked, having no other choice but to freestyle everything as they werenât willing to mock or insult their vice president.
Finally being free to do whatever they wanted and put their creativity to the test, actors went wild. No one could deny they were completely entertained. Still, despite the show put on before them, everyone was waiting for Midoriya to return.
Naito eventually got up from his seat, quickly getting out and searching for Midoriya. Midoriyaâs black heels were still laying on the stage, evidence of the unknown fight. Midoriya had been in the back hall teaching Gima a lesson.
The both of them were roughed up, Gima had a slightly bruised eye and a busted lip. Midoriya had scratches across his cheek and skinned elbows. Gima had been crying when Midoriya settled on disciplining her.
They sat alone in the hallway as Midoriya explained everything that had happened. Midoriya even explained how her boyfriend had assaulted him barely over a month ago.
Midoriya explained the trauma she and her boyfriend had brought him when none of the situation was his fault. Gima broke down crying and Midoriya glared at her before breaking his streak of silence.
âYouâre expelled and so is your boyfriend,â informed Midoriya swiftly, ending their talk. Gima threw her perfect record away for a boy who cheated on her.
Midoriya turned down the hall only to run into Naito. Naito rushed to Midoriya, holding him closely. Midoriya sank into the touch and cried, fed up with the situation. Naito teared up as well, feeling horrible for his significant other.
Naito cupped Midoriyaâs face and kissed his cheeks, nose, forehead, his tears, and his closed eyes. Midoriya couldnât help but laugh as he cried, cheeks glowing a light red as he was flustered and embarrassed.
Naito grinned, pulling Midoriya close again. âYou did well. I stopped by the headmaster and explained that what happened wasnât a part of the play and that the play was to humiliate you. She will be officially expelled not only for hurting you, but for risking tarnishing the school's reputation.â
Midoriya relaxed at the news, thanking him for informing the schoolâs headmaster of what was going on so he didnât have to. Naito guided Midoriya to the bathroom to clean the scratches on Midoriyaâs cheeks and to bandage the skinned elbows.
Midoriya quickly fixed himself up and made sure to dab his eyes with cold water to assure no one could see he had been crying.
Opening the doors to the auditorium, Midoriya was soon stopped by the headmaster. Before anything could happen, the headmaster whispered an apology to Midoriya for not doing more to prevent the issue from happening. Midoriya whispered back his gratitude for the apology and took Naitoâs hand in his own.
The couple walked down the aisle back to their original seats. The group immediately huddled Midoriya, making sure he was okay in heavy silence. Midoriya let them all know he was okay and focused back on the completely unscripted performance.
The performance was a wreck. It had started genuinely well except for the fact the pay was written to make Midoriya look like a sex-obsessed home wrecker. Then it turned into an unhinged war with everyone fighting until Midoriya stepped in a smacked the shit out of Gima. Then the actors went completely freestyle and used the fight as a way to turn the issue into the plot into an enemy-to-lovers romance.
Midoriya squeezed Naitoâs hand, glad it was all over.
The play quickly came to an end as two of the actors came together for the closing kiss. The curtains slowly closed and the audience cheered loudly, enjoying every second of what they had watched.
When Midoriya and Gima failed to come onto the stage for the performer's bow, most people grew suspicious of the fight. While they had no way to prove it, they got excited at the thought that what they had seen was an actual fight.
Midoriya was standing beside Naito. The duo was beside the headmaster as people left. They thanked everyone for coming and watching. Everyone in return thanked Midoriya, loving the actual entertainment.
Eventually Aldera Junior High was exiting and Midoriya continued to thank them, pretending as if he had never met any of them before. Bakugo stopped before the desk alongside the other two bullies.
âDeku.â
Midoriya raised his gaze to meet Bakugoâs eyes. Immediately growing embarrassed at the fact his bullies had seen him, Midoriya looked away.
âKacchan.â
âNext time, punch 'em in the throat,â grumbled Bakugo, hands stuffed in his pocket.
Midoriya's eyes gazed up to see Bakugo, Tejio, and Hifumi. It was foreign to see them not showing any malice or judgment. Shoulders relaxing, Midoriya kindly smiled.
âThere will not be next time as she is expelled,â chuckled Midoriya, enjoying the comment.
âGood.â
âYeah! I could tell she was bad news from the start!â boasted Hifumi proudly as he crossed his arm.
Midoriya grinned, dusting off his uniform. âIt was very unprofessional of me, but I had to defend myself and keep some of my dignity.â
âIt was so badass dude!â declared Tejio while shaking a fist with a puffed chest.
Bakugo narrowed his eyes at the two before looking back at Midoriya. âNice to see you are doing something useful for once. Also, come by sometime the old hag misses you.â
âTell Aunty Iâll swing by sometime. Iâm sure I can get a ride.â
Naito wrapped an arm around Midoriyaâs shoulder, grinning. âIâll drop you off one day after our duties.â
âThat would be wonderful!â
Bakugo glanced over at Naito and couldn't help but feel relieved to know that Midoriya made some good friends. Midoriya could read Bakugo's expression and grinned, glad to know Bakugo cared. Naito couldnât help but be nervous as Bakugo was a hella intimidating guy.
âBye loser,â huffed Bakugo, suddenly turning away and heading out of the school.
âBye Kacchan,â sighed Midoriya, rolling his eyes.
Hifumi rushed past, quickly waving to Midoriya. âBye, dude.â
âSee you,â murmured Tejio, his cheeks a little flushed from embarrassment.
Naito nearly collapsed, shooting his gaze at Midoriya. âThat blond guy is scary. How do you know him?â
âOur parents are close friends. Iâve known him since I was a little kid. His growth spurt served him well,â noted Midoriya, seeing Bakugo was taking his training seriously.
Midoriya and Naito stayed together all the way through Junior High. Things were a little different in their third year when Midoriya started training with All Might but had to keep it a secret. Midoriya was taken the bus to visit Bakugo but got attacked by the sludge villain on his way. Then he talked to All Might, got rejected by his idol, and ended up saving Bakugo from the same villain.
Izuku knew it was a lot of traveling, but he would go over to Musutafu every morning to train at the Takoba Beach Park with All Might. Hisashi was very approving considering Midoriya explaining he was training with a pro hero, but had to keep it private for safety reasons.
Once Midoriya got into UA High and was busy with training and school, things with Naito naturally fizzled out. It was too stressful of a time for the both of them to be in a relationship. Midoriya was obviously sad, but it wasnât like Naito disappeared from his life.
Midoriya gained a lot of confidence after moving schools so Midoriya wasnât insecure about his placement in U.A. High. Midoriya made a lot of friends and had a good reputation. Sometimes Midoriyaâs sassiness would come out whenever he was dealing with Bakugo or was in the middle of a villain attack.
Who would've thought that a video would leak halfway through his first year at U.A. High? It was the notorious battle between Midoriya and Gima. While Mina and Kaminari wanted the juicy details of what caused the fight. Iida and Uraraka were highly concerned about the video.
All Midoriya did was shrug with a smirk, shooting Bakugo a knowing look. âHad to tame a bitch.â
Midoriya was sitting on couch, wrapped up in a blanket as he read his online All Might comic. This was his usual routine as he waited for his mom to return home. Suddenly there was the knock on the door. Midoriya jumped up, assuming his mother got groceries on her way home and needed him to open the door.
Without bothering to look through the peephole, Midoriya threw open the door with a wide smile. âYouâre back! Need me to help with-?â
Upon opening his eyes, he was met with a kind looking man standing beside what appeared to be his teenage son. Midoriya turned bright red, visibly embarrassed as he bowed.
âI apologize! What may I help you two with?â
The father brightly smiled as he introduced himself. âDonât worry about it kid. We are your new neighbours. We moved into the apartment next door.â
âOh! It is lovely meeting you! My name is Izuku Midoriya, I apologize but my mother is currently at work!â
The father smiled, happy with such a kind boy as his neighbour. âItâs alright! The names Takada, Takada Shirogane. This is my son Takada Ray.â
âWould you like to come in? I can get you water, tea, coffee, whatever you like. I can only imagine how tired you are from the whole moving process,â asked Midoriya kindly.
One thing led to another and the Midoriyaâs and the Takada family became friends. They tended to have meals together and both of the single parents got along and their only children got along as well.
Takada and Midoriya soon became best friends despite their quirk status and the two were quick to generate a plan. Takada somehow became friends with Bakugo. Just like that, Midoriya and Takada slowly ruined Bakugoâs life piece by piece. They were happy; But all good things come to an end.
Midoriya was walking home with Takada, they casually talked like usual and joked about how stupid the bullies were. Midoriya suddenly got a call from Inko.
âSorry Ray! My mom needs me for the night. Iâll see you tomorrow,â apologized Midoriya.
Takada seemed unnaturally relieved, looking at Midoriya with a smile. âAlright! See you tomorrow Izuku!â
Within fifteen minutes, Midoriya had gotten ready and left. One hour later, guests arrived at Takadaâs hourse. Four hours later, Midoriya comes back home alongside someone interning at Inkoâs work. The two were exhausted. Midoriya is met with the awful stench of alcohol, cigarettes, and the commotion inside Takadaâs apartment.
The guy looked at Midoriya confused. âAre your neighbourâs hosting a party?â
âYes, Ryu. They are,â hissed Midoriya angrily.
Ryu looked at Midoriya worriedly. âHey, hey. Whatâs wrong?â
Midoriya wiped the tears of anger off his face. âWhatâs wrong is that my supposed friend is a backstabbing piece of shit.â
âOh. Yeah no. No. Youâre confronting this asshole. Do it in front of everybody. Iâll be with you,â reassured Ryu confidently.
Midoriya, feeling empowered by his newly made friends presence, stormed up to the door. Pounding on the door, Midoriya quickly crossed his arms and tapped his foot.
The door swung open to reveal a laughing Takada. âHey, you got the drinks?â
âAre you drunk?â asked Midoriya disbelievingly.
Takada finally took the time to notice who was before him. As if all the alcohol he had drank suddenly disappeared, Takadaâs face droped.
âDekuâ Izukuâ I... itâs not what it looks like,â backtracked Takada immediately, or tried to.
The party inside immediately stopped. The moment Dekuâs name reached their ears, all attention was on the scene at the door.
âOh god,â sighed Takada absentmindedly.
Midoriya smiled, the anger apparent in his eyes. âYou dirty little liar.â
âIâm sorry! I can explain!â Takada urgently started.
âOh, explain how you didnât tell me you were having a party?â retorted Midoriya sassily.
Ryu nodded, backing up Midoriya. âYou tell him Izuku!â
Takada, seeming to forget the entire group in his home behind him, tried explaining himself. âYou know I couldnât invite you! I had to pretend to hate you!â
Midoriya laughed, tears slowly forming in his eyes. âI didnât say invite me! I said you never even told me! Pfffâ buddy. Youâre not pretending anymore. Youâre two faced. A cold, and heartless, two faced bitch.â
Ryu noticed all the people inside watching in surprise. Ryu scoffed, turning his attention back to Midoriya.
Midoriya narrowed his eyes, deciding on mocking Takada. âAre you having an awesome time? Are you drinking awesome shooters and listening to awesome music, and sitting around and soaking up each others awesomeness?â
âYou know what? Youâre the one who made me like this! Just so you could use me for your childhood revenge,â argued Takada, drunk and panicking, desperate to defend himself.
Midoriya, amazed with Takadaâs bullshit, raised his voice. âGod! See, at least me and Bakugo know weâre mean. You try to act like youâre so innocent likeâ oh I used to live in America with all the money and the lavish lifestyle!â
Takada snapped, yelling at Midoriya. âYou know itâs not my fault a useless, quirkless, shit like you is in love with me or something!â
There were multiple gasps heard from inside Takadaâs apartment. Midoriya shouted in anger, royally pissed off.
âWhat?â
Ryu looked ready to murder, his eye twitching. âOh no he did not!â
Midoriya stormed over to Takada and sent a hard punch into his nose. âFuck you!â
Takada flew back from the force. He knew his nose was definitely broken. Midoriya wiped off his hand in disgust.
âSee! Thatâs the thing with you bullies! You act like youâre the best but everyone fucking hates you! Like, Bakugoâs right hand. He dumped his girlfriend and guess what! He still doesnât want you! So why are you still messing with them Takada?â
Looking at Midoriya in horror, Takada shook his head lost and mortified. Midoriya snapped, shouting out the thing dying to come out.
âIâll tell you why! Because you are a bad person! Youâre a bitch!â
The rest of the party all felt themselves gasp, genuinely surprised to see Midoriya so angry. Ryu still was glaring at Takada, beyond pissed with the performance the asshole made.
âI canât believe I actually thought I had finally made a friend for the first time in my life,â breathed out Midoriya in defeat.
Takada looked up at Midoriya in horror. The weight of what just happened finally hit him. âShit... shit, shit, shit. Izuku! Wait!â
Ryu suddenly stepped between the two, his glare harsh as he pushed Takada into the apartment and stepped in himself.
âEveryone in here! And I mean everyone. Fuck you. Izuku is the most hardworking and incredible person Iâve ever met! Not once had he needed a quirk to prove he was worth my time. You all are just assholes. Good luck having a future with the mindset you have you quirkist fucks.â
Walking over to Midoriya, Ryu gently ruffled his hair. âLetâs go. Youâll be staying the night at mine tonight. I donât want you home alone right now.â
Midoriya nodded, wiping his snot and tears with his shirt sleeve. âOkay.â
Grabbing his things, Midoriya left his house to see Bakugo had been waiting for him, along with the two other bullies.
âHey! Deku! The hell was that all about?â shouted Bakugo.
Midoriya turned around, wearing a wide smile. âOh, so everything thatâs suddenly been happening to you. Iâm the cause of it.â
Bakugo felt his frown turn into a taunting smile. âWhat?â
Midoriya walked right up to Bakugo, wearing a matching smirk. âKatsuki, my love. Thereâs a new sherif in town.â
Suddenly planting a passionate kiss on Katsukiâs lips, Midoriya felt everyone watch him in fear. Midoriya walked away with a bored expression, heading over to Ryu who wore a shit-eating grin.
âShit Izuku, youâre hella dope. Inko wasnât joking when she said she raised a wild one,â commented Ryu casually.
Midoriya looked up at Ryu with innocent eyes. âOf course she did. I learned everything from her. Why do you think I hate almost every guy I meet?â
âI just thought you were always hungry.â
âYeah... about that... no.â
âRight. Um, ready to go?â
âOh. Yeah, I am.â
âOkay, letâs go then. I guess.â
âMhmm.â
Midoriya awkwardly left with Ryu, leaving the now conflicted party behind. Takada was busy trying to figure out how to kick everyone out. The bullies were all staring with dropped jaws. Bakugo felt his face burn as the taste of Midoriyaâs strawberry chapstick taunted him.
âFucking Deku.â
Pianist! Deku (Contains MonoDeku and Hisashi Midoriya is dead)
Midoriya knew his dream was unrealistic. He knew that his brains alone wouldnât assure a spot in UA. Still, it wasnât impossible. He easily could have it all with a support system and a mentor. Yet, he was absolutely alone. Heâd train his mind, pushing his mental and emotional awareness to itâs peak. He understood how the world worked and why people acted the way they do.
He found a peace in violence. He found a feeing of what it was like to be a hero through being bullied. He understood the fight or flight response, the adrenaline rush, the fear, and the impulse of immediately knowing what to do. He understood pain and remaining calm despite his depression, anxiety, and possible ADD issues.
Midoriya found contentment in a random store he saw on his way home through the quiet part of town. The doors were wide open as the sound of a grand piano rang through the bright streets. Midoriya found himself walking right into a beautiful music shop. A lovely woman, soft features with a look of passion, poured her whole body and soul into the chords and notes the piano possessed if touched just right.
Mesmerized, Midoriya stood in the doorway with his fists tightly gripping his book-bag straps. The woman felt his stare and quickly finished her piece and welcomed him.
âHello! Welcome! How my I help you today?â
Midoriya immediately flushed red, waving his hands urgently. âSorry! I just heard your playing and I came over here! Iâm so sorry if I disrupted you or interrupted your peace! I just thought it was amazing andâ!â
The woman let out a airy laugh, motioning for him to sit down. âNonsense! I barely get any people to enter simply from my music. Iâm more than happy to have someone who has a taste for piano.â
Midoriya wilted slightly, looking for the sheet music only to see there was none. âHowâd you do that? Play without music?â
âMy quirk! I call it Natural Touch! Basically, Iâm a natural piano player. I can make a whole piece simply by moving my fingers to however Iâm feeling!â
âWow! Incredible!â
âIndeed it is. I have a feeling the fate brought you here. Now, sit. Letâs find your calling.â
âââââââââââââââââââââââ
Two years passed and Midoriya was finally in his third year of junior high. Unfortunately the school year had just started and Midoriya was no where close to having his interaction with the sludge villain and All Might.
Midoriya was quick to clean his desk, wiping off the marker-written graffiti that was nothing more than unoriginal and overused insults with the new cleaner he purchased online. Tossing his bag over his shoulder, Midoriya rushed out of the school in a hurry. He had told the woman who he now called Sae-san he had finished his newest piece.
He had based the entire piece off of the overwhelming intoxication of needing to be perfect. It was like chasing after your dreams and seeing how far away it was but still rushing forward, wonderfully out of breath as you panted. It was almost as if you were running in a endless open field of beautiful flowers and lively green grass as the wind twirled and tugged at your hair. It was the struggle, the fight and pride bubbling in your stomach as you find a motivation inside your gut. It was a long and beautifully painfully journey. Short and swift moments that switched to tedious and serious clashes, the anxiety, and then the run. It was the home stretch where you admire the world around as you make it to the end.
Midoriya saw the beauty. He saw it all. Now he has put it into a beautiful piece to tell the story, to covey the emotions.
Running out the school doors, he failed to see his bullies waiting for him outside. For the group to see Midoriya run, it brought a smirk among their faces as they assumed he was trying to escape a beating. Midoriya was swift on his feet, somewhat similar to a beautiful fox. The group was surprised at his speed and agility. At some points they lost him and could only spot him when he was rushing through a long open area.
About three corners away from his destination, the bullies lost Midoriya. Frustrated, they settled on beating him up first thing the next time they saw him. Deciding that they could just hang out since they were all together, the group wandered around the area seeing all the small shops.
Soon, they arrived on the same block as the music shop, Midoriyaâs location. Unaware of Midoriyaâs presence, they mindlessly bought some snacks at a small convince store. As soon as they left the store, they sat down on a bench right outside the music store.
The bully with hideous long grey hair almost spat out his drink when he looked into the window only to see Midoriya. This, of course, caught the attention of Bakugo and the black haired douchebag. The other two looked just as surprised to see Midoriya.
Bakugo smirked as he went to get up. âFound you, worthless fucker!â
Holding Bakugo back by his arm, the black haired bully didnât even spare a glance to the blond. âHold up. Deku is fucking going to play the piano?â
âNo fucking way,â snorted the grey haired idiot.
Bakugo lowered himself back onto the bench, a psychotic smile worn on his face. âOh, this is gonna be pathetic!â
The two nodded in agreement watching. Suddenly a beautiful woman rushed over with a chair. Midoriya seemed surprised by her excitement, letting out a squeaking noise. The woman let out an airy laugh as he clapped.
Just like on the fateful day Midoriya met her, the windows were wide open along with the front door. The sun was shining bright as the sky was a beautiful shade of blue. Fluffy, lively clouds offered periodic moments of shade that came and went as they pleased.
Midoriya seemed to realize something as he shot up from where he was sitting and rushed behind the counter. The woman watched with a patient smile, unbothered. Midoriya returned holding a stack of papers.
The woman looked up at him in amazement. âIs... is this the sheet music?â
Midoriya eagerly nodded, handing the sheets to her. The woman was quickly to pull the pages apart and lay them out. He paused when she was dividing post-it notes. She gasped harshly as she stared at the nervous boy standing over her.
âAre these overlapping one another?â
Midoriya shyly nodded, motioning to the post-its. âYes. Using a layering device, each of these chords will be overlapping and progressively being played over one another. After so many counts, the new layer will be able to be taken.â
The woman gasped, scooping up all the papers and cheering out in pure joy. âGenius! Youâre amazing! Adding and removing layers to create a passionate and climaxing piece! The âbuilding-upâ style will be a moving one!â
Midoriya shook his head, waving his hands. âWellâ yes! That was the whole goal but I wouldnât call it genius! Besides, I wouldnât ever be as amazing as you!â
âHaving a quirk has absolutely nothing to do with talent and skill. You are a wonderful person and Iâm grateful to have you be a part of my life. Now... play,â the woman nudged, resting a hand on Midoriyaâs shoulder.
Midoriya nodded sitting down onto the bench. The woman looked at the papers before extending them out. âDo you need these?â
Midoriya offered a warm smile. âNope. I actually printed them off just for you.â
The lady chuckled, holding them close. âOf course, I shouldnât have expected any less of you than to memorize the piece by heart.â
Midoriya connected his device to piano and made sure it was working. After quickly changing a setting, Midoriya finally nodded and started the countdown. Nodding his head to the tempo he prepared his hands.
Taking a quick breath he started to play.
Simply tapping one note before randomly throwing in another for a while almost brought the bystanders to laughter. Midoriya picked up his hands as the notes continued the play while he quickly moved his fingers to add a layer. The process repeated, and repeated, and repeated.
The woman seemed just as stunned as his bullies. Their jaws hung low as Midoriya passionately played, eyes occasionally opening as he smiled. The wind picked up as the sun almost magically came out from the clouds, blinding everyone with Midoriyaâs beauty and power.
The woman closed her eyes, body swaying to the music as he allowed herself to feel. She felt the struggles, the fear, the flight, and the childish excitement of his existence.
Midoriya suddenly cut off multiple layers with the single tap of his foot on an electronic pedal and was beginning to relayer all over again. It was a beautiful mess of emotion invoking chords and jumbles of notes.
The group of bullies hadnât moved an inch, too entranced to do much of anything. They felt his music, his mind, his passion. It was oddly uplifting yet leaving them in a drowning feeling. The way Midoriyaâs messy curly hair was picked up and tossed in the wind as his eyes were gently closed as his body pushed and occasionally ground ïżŒforward with power. His head bowed and rolled to the music as every ounce of himself was the piece.
Finally he came to a stop before taking a deep breath and opening his eyes. Suddenly a present voice caught everyone off guard.
âCan I please take you out on a date?â a voice desperately asked.
Midoriya jumped, his whole body turning to see who had said such a thing to him even he already knew who. An average looking guy with short blond hair and blue eyes stood in the doorway with a smirk. He was wearing a stylish polo with some black ripped jeans. In his hand was a plastic bag.
Midoriya sighed, excusing himself from the shop owner. âNeito, why bother? I already told youâ!â
âThat I canât like you because youâre quirkless. Unfortunately you canât tell me who I can like. So Iâm here to forcefully take you out on a date. First, I have some offerings.â
Midoriya couldnât help but smile as he made his way over to Monoma. âWhat is it now?â
Monoma opened the bag and first pulled out a small object. âHold out your hands.â
Midoriya raised a brow, hesitantly holding out his hands. Monoma quickly put the object in Midoriyaâs hands only to reveal a beautiful crystal. Looking at it, Midoriya suddenly made the connection.
âAre you trying to woo me like penguins do?â
âYes. Next.â
Midoriya waited patiently as Monoma carefully reached a hand into the plastic bag. Midoriya found himself growing nervous when Monoma started pulling his hand up, out of the bag. Holding a box he quickly got down on one knee and revealed a ring.
âMarry me!â
Midoriya stared at the boy blankly, watching the eager look in Monomaâs eyes as he looked as if he was about to shatter the box in his hand. Midoriyaâs moment of shock passed and genuine embarrassment and joy rushed through him.
âNeito! We are 14! We canât get married!â
Neito stood up, still holding the ring. âI donât care! Youâre a goddess and Iâd be damned if I didnât claim you!â
Midoriya couldnât help but roll his head back as he was gasping for air. âOh my god! Youâre like a possessive puppy, thatâs so cute!â
âHey! Itâs romantic and I won you over with the crystal!â Monoma declared as he took the ring out of the box.
The shop owner walked over with a large smile. âConsider it a promise ring if engagement ring doesnât suit your fancy. Monoma, tell him the ring is a symbol of your love for him and your plans to marry him."
Midoriya gasped in betrayal, looking at the woman. âNagisa! How could you!â
The woman, now known as Nagisa, laughed, âYou need a boyfriend, girlfriend, anyone. Besides, I like this one, heâs a bit of a brat but isnât scared to show his affection. You need someone like that.â
Midoriya crossed his arms, looking at Monoma stubbornly. âWell, I donât know why you keep coming back. Iâve turned you down every time for the about the past half year. Why would you waste so much time on trying to win someone like me over?â
Bakugo was officially broken, his eyes wide as he was about to explode the soda tightly gripped in his hands. His lackeys on the other hand were trying to hide their guilt due to seeing the effect their actions have had on Midoriya. By hiding their guilt, it was more like stuffing their face with chips while watching the scene before them as if this was the best entertainment theyâve ever seen in years.
Honestly, it was unsettling for them all to see Midoriya be the one rejecting advances. They were especially surprised to see him openly say he was quirkless and Monoma ignore Midoriyaâs explanations.
Monoma dramatically took Midoriyaâs wrist and held the ring close to Midoriyaâs face. âThis ring is a symbol of my love for you and my plans to marry you. Whether or not you accept it, I want you to know that you are a dream. God, I couldnât even imagine someone as perfect as you. Pretty, yet talented and dedicated. Shameless per say.â
Midoriya was breathless as the ring was slipped onto his finger. The words gently but sternly spoken to him seemed to sink deep. Midoriya felt relief wash over him as tears just started falling down his face. The two watching him sudden burst into tears freaked out, worried they upset him or went too far.
Midoriya laughed as he cried, ignoring the fact Monoma hadnât been able to fully slip on the ring. âYou idiot! Donât talk like that.â
Monoma realized it was tears of... not a negative emotion and smirked. âOh? But itâs true. I will marry you!â
Midoriya rolled his eyes, wiping his tears. âAlright. Then youâre willing to meet my parents then?â
Nagisa, who was now cackling, lowered herself to the ground. âOh my god! This is why I love you Izuku!â
Monoma took a deep breath before standing in a âpower poseâ.
âYes! I will do it! I will get their blessing.â
Midoriya nodded, walking to his book bag and digging inside it. Walking back over he held up a necklace with an odd shaped charm on it.
âNeito, meet my dad. Dad, meet Neito.â
Nagisa must have seen it coming as she started blasting disco music. Neito looked horrified while Midoriya smugly held up a necklace containing his fathers ashes.
Bakugo and the bullies felt their hearts stop as theyâve bullied someone whoâs lost their father. To make it worse, they probably bullied him the day he found out his father died and throughout the course of him trying to cope with it.
Neito immediately panicked. âIâm so sorry! I didnât know thatâ!â
Midoriya waved his hand, ignoring the apology. âLighten up. It was last year and I never met the asshole. We just got permission to have him buried over here after being cremated so me and mom just took some ashes to keep.â
Nagisa walked back over, holding a water bottle. âYeah, I remember you coming in one day with a disappointed face. All you ever said was âmy dad died before I even got to meet him. He just died. Iâm literally thirteen.â
Neito seemed to chipper up, a genuine smile on his face as he looked as the necklace Midoriya was holding. âJust wondering... why donât you wear it? You have it on a necklace.â
Midoriya shrugged, putting it into his bookbag. âWell, my bullies would probably take it from me and destroy it. They donât really consider what I posses, they just want to ruin it.â
âHow? Why? Youâre amazing! What is wrong with those assholes?â Neito gasped harshly, his hands gesturing to sculpt Midoriyaâs body.
Midoriya shrugged, finally admiring the ring. âI donât know. Theyâve all just treated me that way after I came out quirkless. I just donât carry anything important on with me anymore.â
âSo you wonât be wearing my ring?â Neito frowned, looking at the ring.
Midoriya smiled, taking his necklace and adding ring to the chain. Clasping the back of the necklace, Midoriya cheerfully held it up to show Monoma.
âSee! Iâll always have it. Although, I will probably wear it all the time outside of school,â Midoriya suggested his plan.
Monoma smugly put his hands on his hips, pleased. Midoriya got nervous at that look, preparing himself. Monoma lunged at Midoriya, swooping the boy up and hauling him up bridal style.
âBye, Nagisa! Im taking my fiancĂ© out on a date.â
Midoriya shouted, reaching out for Nagisa. âWe arenât engaged!â
âYou didnât refuse my date proposal,â Monoma proudly pointed out.
Midoriya deflated, allowing himself to be carried out the store by Monoma. Nagisa happily escorted the two out before quickly telling Midoriya to play the piece for her again later. Midoriya rolled his eyes, agreeing to it as he was taken out of the store.
Midoriya sighed, looking up at Monoma. âCould you set me down?â
Monoma stopped walking, looking at Midoriya, âAs long as you let me hold your hand.â
Midoriya couldnât help but smile, looking up at Monoma. âDeal.â
Once Midoriya was back on his feet, he took off his uniform shirt to reveal a slim-fit solid red bishop long-sleeve tee. It was tucked into his pants and matched his res shoes. Throwing the uniform top into his bag, he turned to smile at Monoma.
âI just had to get off that uniform top. I wish I had planned on going out, otherwise I wouldâve brought a full change of clothes. Anyway, lead the way!â Midoriya turned to flash a warm smile at the boy he was now dating.
Monoma couldnât help but stare at Midoriya momentarily, grateful for the boy he finally achieved winning over. Taking the boys hand, Monoma smirked.
âAlright, you better get prepared. Iâm about to take you out on the best first date ever.â
Midoriya smugly raised a brow, slightly squeezing back Monomaâs hand before walking forward to signal it was time to move. âWell, Iâm waiting.â
Midoriya officially had caught each of his bullies by surprised. In more ways than one. All three felt anger. The problem about that was that they werenât sure who it was directed at. Either way, Midoriya scored a sexy boyfriend and the envy of his stubborn bullies that refused to accept his success.
