"Hey babygirl, how would you like to cash in on your reward from your sticker chart today?" I asked her.
"Ooh yes please, Daddy! Can we go to my favorite ice cream place and maybe the park?" She asks me with adorable excitement. How can I say no when she's that cute.
"Of course we can baby. Daddy needs to finish getting you dressed and ready first, go wait in your nursery." I instruct her. She's definitely getting her reward today, but she won't be doing it as a big girl.
"Okay baby, let's check your diaper. Ah ah, don't hide... Oh sweetheart, you're absolutely soaked. Hop up on your changing table, it's definitely time for a diaper change. I was going to let you wear a pullup out but you're clearly not ready yet." I inform her while I'm starting on changing her soaked diaper. I was really going to let her wear pullups if she wasn't too wet, poor girl. Now I'll have to add a booster for our little outing.
"Daddy I can wear pullups like a big girl! I promise I'll keep it dry, no diapers please! Please please, I don't want to get laughed at!" She's pleading with tears in her eyes. She knows her reward is going to be a very embarrassing trip out now.
"Baby, that's enough. My decision is final. You should feel nice and cozy in your fresh diaper, what do you say to Daddy?" I asked her, wanting her realize her place again.
"Thank you for changing my soaked diaper, Daddy" She chokes out between sniffles.
"You're very welcome, baby. Now let's pick out an adorable outfit for you, I bet all the pretty girls at the ice cream shop will be jealous of the outfit Daddy picks." I pat her fresh diaper and head to her closet.
"But Daddy... I know the girls at the ice cream shop. I don't want them to see me like this, they bullied me enough in highschool." She reminds me like I don't remember. Of course I remember, this isn't our first trip there.
"Nonsense, I'm sure they'll think you're adorable sweetheart. Daddy will be there to hold your hand. No matter what they say to you I want you to be extremely polite to them. Maybe you should tell them how pretty they are. Grown up girls love hearing that."
"But Daddy!" She protests with a shocked look on her face.
"No more buts, that's enough. Let's finish getting you into your cute outfit so we can get going." I tell her as I start dressing her.
She's in tight heart print leggings with a shirt dress that is a little short. Velcro vans with cute socks and a bow in her ponytail. She's absolutely adorable but those girls will probably. tease her. Her diaper will be soaked and drooping by the time we get ice cream and she won't be able to hide it. This will definitely be a reward she'll always remember.
