I had the idea for a possible cover for my 'Diary of an Ex-Witch' story before I even had much of an idea of what the story would be.

I have yet to start working on it because it was supposed to be a cute little short, buuuuuut I have grand ideas, so it's going to be a chapter story. I'm thinking at most 10 chapters.

This is a combination of my older drawing style and digital colouring that I used to do back in the day. This was so fun and I'm definitely going to create more art like this.

I'm an artist who's relearning how to draw character art after a few years of art block. I've also decided to give digital art another go. This is one of my attempts.

I got stuck on my Ciara piece, so I started a new one!

This is my OC Ruby. She's one of those characters that you just create for the aesthetics. She's supposed to be a magical superhero, but as my views on magic have changed, she's gotta be something else! Haven't decided what yet.

Base colours!

She's an orange-themed character. In my story, she will most likely be in her school uniform most of the time. Currently, that outfit is purple.

I've been working on relearning all the drawing skills I lost and one of the most difficult things for me has been dynamic poses.

This is my OC Ciera and I thought I would try out this pose with her as she's the easiest to draw.

It's not perfect, but it's loads better than my other attempts! I'm going to ink and color her in!

Here's the final line art! I may adjust some things before I start colouring (like that hairline) This is the first successful digital piece that I've made using a screenless tablet and I'm really excited to complete it!

If this goes well, I can start illustrating my other characters!

I had a vision

This poster but younger Kim and Harry.

Art block has majorly hit me, currently at war might not make it.

Also my anatomy isn't the greatest, I looked at the of poster as reference.

The Spirits of Christmas but a Polycule instead.

I got inspired.

I debated weather or not Kim would be future or past but I realised you wouldn't catch Jean dead in anything other than black (or dark colors in this case)

Who is Scrooge?.... Harry, pre amnesia Harry yes yes. It's crazy but this au is not meant to be taken seriously.

The scene with Belle and Ebenezer, literally was Harry and Dora, am I wrong?

His interactions with the spirits. The events take place when he is 43 I decided. And spirit Harry is the one to show him Dora's new family, because he isn't as old as Scrooge so the family thing wouldn't be in the past I would think.

Idk who the Cratchits are or anything else, this au is not reappearing but I had to draw it at least once.

The lyrics up top are from "Techno Man" by AND ONE. Except it's Dave and not Harry. I listened to it on repeat while doodling.

I'm on a roll with swap Au's!

My silly take on swap Kim and Harry. I think their personalities are virtually the same, Kim is just more angrier and confused because he doesn't remember anything.

Anyways Harry still drags Kim around to do side quests. Kim is trying to focus on the case, if he does well on it he has a small chance to not get fired. Kim does not have the privilege that Harry has when it comes to shenanigans, sadly.

Some ideas are brewing but I'm not serious with any Au's I make, I'm a sucker for fluff, sigh.

This is for the Harry/Klassje swap au by @theinkyfrog check it out I think its so interesting with the parallels they do have.

Is the hanged man still Lely or is it someone else? I do like the idea Kim being in Ruby's place. What about Jean? How would he play in this? If at all? THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS. awesome au concept!!!

Swap Kim was inspired by @effen-draws swap fic. I would recommend it's very good.

The cloak design took forever why did I do this again?

The last two drawings actually have more variations, but I put the two I thought looked the best. The list of names has all the current name candidates

Oh and I put this in a previous post, but this little interaction is actually the first time I drew a concept from the au

She's coming to see him at night, and gets concerned when she sees him asleep and without his prosthetic (nor did she understand it was a prosthetic, that's probably pretty bizarre to a dragon outside of Berk's little flock) and doesn't realize that no, he didn't get hurt since you last saw him :(

So then I imagine Toothless is kinda like, "Oh! Oh no, I'm fine, see! I just need a little help to fly higher!" and I managed to make myself cry over dragon romance while making this I'm done for.

So I've got this httyd au idea that I've been sitting on for awhile now, I guess it could be considered as a rewrite or something but I don't see it that way. Anyway here's some ideas for my Colourful Nights AU, I'm still working out the factors so it's not the best.

There's going to be more of my thoughts under the cut (aka the usual Hauntley rambling)

First and foremost, the idea to give Grimmel a night fury comes from this post on reddit

Before seeing this I had 100% planned to just... Not have Grimmel exist in the Colourful Nights au? I kind of hate his whole- thing?

I had the idea of Grimmel seeing what Drago did and deciding that where the man failed was not in trying to control dragons, but instead that he didn't try to control powerful dragons specifically. I know that Toothless is supposed to be an endling, but I think the idea of Grimmel slowly building his own dragon army but with dragons he considers powerful and having a few night furies is cool so. Maybe he kept a couple of night furies back during the mass fury hunts, because having them bend to his will makes him feel powerful? Or maybe he only had one. I'm not sure if I'll even keep it but I like the idea.

For my light fury design (I call her Clearscales), I liked the idea of her being a night fury with some sort of genetic mutation, and I'm not sure if I want to keep the disappearing act or not? I like it but I don't know if it would still work if I gave her darker scales, but also! Would I be able to call her Clearscales still? :( That's a very important part, because I've gotten attached to the name.

I also had an idea that relates back to a fact about the Dramillion titan in rtte, it has the ability to camouflage itself like a changewing because they're distantly related, implying that titans have access to traits the normal members of their species don't have.

So what if Toothless' lightning isn't an inherent night fury skill, but instead a trait of night fury titans? Maybe it's due to a possible distant relation with skrills? I always liked the idea that the "lightning" part of "Offspring of lightning and death" was because their blasts look somewhat like a the result of a lightning strike (at least in the 1st movie), but maybe it's also because a titan was witnessed doing this, and because the second and third movies imply that after the first transformation, the titans don't look any different from the normal members, people just assumed that it was something they could all do, and ontop of everything else, it led to a mass panic and hunt?

I'm all over the place and am in no way coherent, but that's my dumb little idea, if you're reading this I can't believe you actually read what I wrote, or scrolled down through it at least. Thank you :)

I've been getting scared to post OCs lately because I think no one will like them, but that's all I draw basically and I want to share my art, so y'know what? Here! Fanart but mainly my dumb little guys.

This is an older comic I made when I was first playing around with the relationship between Hino (orange) and Jaxon (pink) in Exorcise The Gods, I've got half a mind to re-draw it now that I'm more comfortable in my art style... Cause I swear I do comics better now lol
