It's been a bit since I did a full drawing, I've mainly been starting and ditching sketches lately. I haven't been posting OC art because it seems like it's not as popular as fanart, which is kinda true?

Unfortunately, I rarely do fanart, so I plan to start posting OC art more often because I want to post more regularly and because I'd like to start sharing the story of Exorcise The Gods, if people are interested :)

I've played a bunch of new games recently! My favourite was this game called Tavern Talk and I've been thinking about what my innkeeper would look like almost non-stop, I wanted to give them a dragon tail but that idea was discarded pretty quickly lol

I'm not super sure if the colours are even any good to be honest... Opinions?

There's one with and without coloured lineart! I think I like the coloured lineart better and maybe the mouth is a little too exaggerated but overall I'm very happy :DD

Commission I did for Royallazulian on twitter (X)! I had a lot of fun drawing their OC, Luxx and they were a pleasure to work with! :)

Also I haven't been posting because all my art has been OC work lately and I don't think anyone's interested lol

lalalaaaaa au time. dont tag as ship or i will end you. ik it isnt super original but something something two cakes

the gist: instead of dying later in life, both danny and vlad were stillborns and turned half ghost after being resuscitated. their parents were told they had died and they were shipped off to the pentagon as little babies to be studied. theyre the same ages as in canon, they just grew up differently

they moved to amity park after they escaped because of the high level of ghost activity, wanting to learn more about other ghosts. they don't know about danny's birth parents living there YET. they only got out in like june and the actual story i imagine starts in the september of the same year after vlad and danny learn that its illegal to not have danny in school. they're super unfamiliar with the outside world and are super weird. they're rich but only because they do crimes for money (mostly theft), and because of that and not legally existing, they only use cash

their ghost forms are in medical gear because thats the only environment they've ever known and they can't really conceptualize themselves in anything else. they wear their hair long and down to cover up the spots of hair that the scientists lasered off to have easier access to their brains.

danny learned the ghostly wail early and uses it often enough (along with a few other voice based projectiles) that he's classified as a banshee subtype of ghost. he has very strong projectiles but his punches hit like wet paper bags. vlad is well rounded in his skills and very strong, but he and danny are VERY unused to fighting and are therefore pretty bad at it.

they're eventually nicknamed by the public "the doctor ghost and his patient", eventually shortened to "doctor" and "patient".

they're very close and consider each other family, but they don't put a specific label on it like father and son. every time they hug, it's as if they had been reunited after a war. they're used to being jostled around by scientists and so are very comfortable touching each others' hair, cuddling, etc and dont quite understand other people's physical boundaries for a while. they're protective of each other to the point of violence.

I'll be honest, I'm not happy with the way the first two turned out. I've actually had them done for a few days and wasn't going to post them because I wasn't happy with them.

But I realized that would go against my own personal beliefs, which is that sharing even the art we're not proud of is important. Not everything we create will be or has to be perfect.

Sure, I kind of hate the way Chuuya's face looks, (also I think I got his hat wrong) Dazai's hair and both their feet. All I can really see are what I call "the screw ups". Fortunately, that's not all there is. For example, I'm very proud of how Atsushi turned out despite the fact that he kind of resembles Beast!Atsushi... I'm also not fussy on the shots without his jacket...

This turned into a long ramble, sorry, I just wanted to show off some A Graveyard For Angels designs. I gave Chuuya a brown jacket after a lot of back and forth with the colours and Dazai's bolo tie is more blue.

The line was supposed to go to Kunikida but Chuuya just said like, no??? Either way I'm having fun and I think I'll keep it, especially because I wrote that scene 1000 words ago.

So I made a post recently and mentioned that I had an idea for a DOA!Atsushi AU, right? Well now there's a small prologue and I've started chapter one...

And I made art...

I need to stop having ideas, because I don't know if it'll actually become something or if I'll drop it in a week and that upsets me T-T

I had this idea based on the fact that we know Fyodor is probably the one who told Shibusawa about Atsushi.

I can't remember if we're told who finds Atsushi after he kills Shibusawa, but I ended up making a divergence there and having Fyodor find him.

Atsushi meets Dazai and Kunikida in the same way but under different circumstances as Atsushi is traveling around on a mission from Fyodor. He's just stopping in Yokohama for the night and the river scene goes pretty similar to canon.

That's about all I've got written so far, except it's 500 words in the document- I'll have to study up on Fyodor's character a bit more to make sure he's not OOC. Let me know if you'd be interested lol

I've also got a few ideas for a DOA(?)!Atsushi AU and they won't leave me alone, might sketch some rough designs and see if the idea sticks around after, idk

School has decided to swamp me with homework for the last two weeks of the semester, I haven't had any chance to sit down and draw! I've done some writing and have a general idea of how I want to tell the story of The Phantom's Façade AU...

It's going to be short stories with a full illustration each. I've got three written so far and a fourth in the works, but they're only five hundred words each... Obviously there'll be a big overarching story-

Anyway, I don't know how much progress I'll make on anything art related until the start of the second semester, sorry!

Just an update to let people know that the performance au has a name! "The Phantom's Façade"! (Or The Phantom's Façade AU, if you want)

One of my friends gave me the name idea, what do you think? :)

Hey so I like broke my back drawing hunched over for six hours last night so- No performance au art or art in general for probably the next few days, I just need a small break from it, sorry!

I do have an idea for how I could do the story though, I personally feel like it wouldn't be as impactful as a comic, but I still want to do art for the story, so I was thinking of a combination, but I don't know what I'd do... Thoughts?

I don't know how I feel about the green, oh well, I've already done a full illustration that'll be posted separately. Still too lazy to look up a reference for a NASA hoodie. Gave into temptation, got rid of the umbrella.

I like D and A the best, I might go with D because the jacket gives this nice royal cape look!

I'm going to do and colour a few sketches to get a feel for it! Tempted to get rid of the umbrella... -_-

Nevermind, I got them finished! I present, Performance AU designs!

I like C the best overall, but I might do some versions where I add D's jacket and/or B's shorts and stockings. I'm not proud of A tbh.

I don't know if I want to do the umbrella, a cane or no prop. I like the idea of the umbrella being a weapon, but then again, Danny doesn't tend to use weapons very often :/

What do you think?

I'll put some coloured versions of one of the designs once I get it down! I'm also scared that they don't look much like Danny and I can't tell if that's because it has no colour or if it's just a style thing... Then again, I guess the whole point of the AU is that he's pretending to be something he's not so-

I'm having a lot of fun for the Performance AU, enough that I'm thinking of even naming it... I was pretty busy today so I didn't get them done but there's four mock up designs for Danny's royal attire coming soon! :D

Anyone have any name ideas for the AU btw? The ones I have are pretty uninspired imo ~-~

I played around with lighting techniques in this one and I think it looks pretty good, I also experimented with coloured lineart! Any tips on how to improve my art are appreciated! :)

I'm not proud of the shading, lighting or background. It looked so good up until then but I tried my best. I'm still learning how to shade darker skin, so it's not very good. If anyone has any tips they'd be greatly appreciated :)

I'm considering redoing the shading entirely, I'll be honest.
