The book that started my ongoing obsession with travel and discovery. If I could go back in time for anything it would be to explore the world when it was so mysterious and new.

Maybe I Am Insane

maybe I am insane

incredibly delusional

maybe it's my brain

maybe this is futile

maybe I am to blame

my insides are draining out, volatile

maybe I'm too vain

the screams no longer audible

maybe this is stained

with our memories from the carnival

maybe I've been framed

the likelihood is probable

maybe I am shame

a personified individual

maybe you miss the fame

you were always so remarkable

maybe one day I'll explain

all those unforseen obstacles

Maybe I Am Insane

Budapest: Central Market Hall a Must do!

As in many capitals in the world have their own Market Hall, Budapest's Central Market Hall is a must to discovery, during your inter railing escapes in Europe. Here you can find the authentic food that has flourished Hungary's history and culture. Everything from Hungarian smoked sausages, cheese, meat, langos, soups, spicy dishes with paprika and all kind of pastries and confectionery, such as Hungarian Bukta, warm pastry filled with jam, delicious! But here, in the central market hall of Budapest, its not only the food that is interesting, the hall, designed by Samu Pecz, is an authentic building, built in the end of the 19th century. With its open and high ceiling space that creates an experience that you want to discover. This market is the largest indoor market in Budapest and there is four other markets like this one in Budapest, which were all built in the same style. And some show off information about these markets is that they all opened on the same day, on February 15th 1897. Just browse around, find something that interest you, maybe you find some souvenirs such as hungarian spices, which is a perfect gift! Specially when you are inter railing with limited backpack space.

Say what you want, but USS Discovery is by far the most beautiful Star Trek ship, and there aren't enough pics of it out there. That side by side with the Enterprise though... <3

And for a fic writer in this fandom, it's also damn hard to describe that spore drive jump without a few picture references.

Ordered my Star Trek: Discovery Blu-rays because I've gotten into collecting physical media again and my internet out here drops a lot, and honestly I don't even know why I bothered buying all 5 seasons since 3 and 4 are dead to me and the only reason I liked 5 was because they brought Airiam back for 15 minutes when they could have spent 3 seasons with her as a major villain and let her try to torch the Federation while possessed by an evil AI that had access to her memories and everything she knew about Starfleet and Discovery as a Lieutenant Commander...😭

Anyway, I ordered some Blu-rays so now I can be mad even without internet.

I want to discover freedom rename the emptiness inside of my mind I start to understand that nobody ever said emptiness had to be filled to enjoy, to feel, to be it`s only an assumption a comforting picture the feeling of feeling fulfilled. we are used to fix and fill and fit get uncomfortable around unknown, around space because we desire comfort which isn’t freedom in the first place so at the end of the day how can we feel free when we try to fill ourselves only to avoid the void inside of us Isn't it the empty blue sky which let the sun enlight the day? Isn't it the open dark sky which let the moon guard the night? why don't we use the free space and instead of calling it emptiness let’s call it freedom instead of calling it loneliness let’s call it independence instead of searching let's call it finding

“That was the most amazing, the most incredible moment of my life; as if I had been offered a trip to the moon … I thought of nothing else for months before it happened. Afterwards, for weeks I couldn’t talk about it without crying. I’m still not entirely over it … It was so beautiful and so intense, it changed me forever.”

Producer, journalist and film director of wildlife documentaries Claire Nouvain's speaking of her experience when she was invited on board the submersible Johnson Link-1 to travel down 1000 meters below the ocean in the Gulf of Maine part of the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution.

From this life changing experience she set out to produce this beautiful book on the incredible universe that lies in the Abyss of our Oceans. A mind opening book of 220 mesmerizing photographs of marine life that has never seen before by most of us.

With an average of depth of 3800 Meters, the oceans offer 99 per cent of the space where life can develop on Earth. The Deep Sea occupies 85 per cent of this space, and thus forms the planets largest habitat. " And what do we know about it? Compared to what remains to be discovered practically nothing."

One of the major discoveries is that the depth is full of lights. There is no light from the surface,  so creatures make their own, as many as 80-90 per cent of the animals are bio luminescent. Like fireflies they light themselves to collect food, to attract pray, to confuse predators and to signal potential mates.

Wow how fascinating is all this, am sure we won't find Nemo down here. This book will be a future classic, thank you Claire Nouvain  and all the scientists for opening our eyes to the magic of this planet.

Enjoy xo
