Morning.

my first attempt to get over writers block, not a request.

Platonic dlamp

Summary: Deceit wakes up from a nightmare at 6 in the morning and accidently wakes up all the sides well trying to make cocoa.

its been so long the last sander sides fanfic i wrote was on wattpad

[Warning: angst, Sympathetic deceit]

He couldnt remember much, but he woke up panicked. The sky had only just started lightening. clutching his chest with his hand, he got up. His breath was quick, he had gotten up quickly, nearly springing out of bed, which caused him to get dizzy. Clutching onto his desk, he managed to get to the door. he glanced over at his clock as he noticed it was six in the morning,

Hissing under his breath, he walked out. None of the other sides were up right now, so he should be fine.

He was in a black shirt with some black sweatpants with high lighter yellow snakes on them, aswell as his shirt having a highlighter yellow snake on the back and front, it wouldnt be too hard to notice him going down the stairs if you walked out at that very moment. He stumbled down the stairs, his vision still attempting to focus.

He tripped a bit which caused a small thump, he froze in his tracks, hoping he didnt wake any of the sides, Patton was an light sleeper, very quick to wake up. but he didnt, to deceits relief.

He could hear the crickets from outsides as he got down to the living room. The mind palace just looked exactly like thomas's house until you saw all the multiple rooms on the second floor. Still shooken up from the nightmare, he shakily made his way to the kitchen. Finding his way to the fridge in the dark.

He opened it and nearly blinded himself. Bright light leaking from the lightbulb at the top to fill the fridge.

After he got over the fridge light in his eyes, which might aswell been a flashbang at this time of morning for him, whos been wandering in the dark for like, the past 20 minutes. he scanned the fridge, getting milk out, he noticed red leaking from the side of one of the shelves, the ketchup had got a hole and leaked, Probaly from patton dropping it yesterday night at dinnner. Getting ketchup all over his hands. and suddenly, the nightmare came back to him.

Blood, suddenly clung to his hands. It dripped from a cut on the side of his face. Laughing, he could hear laughing, it was dark. But he seemed to light up the dark landscape. he couldnt speak, or move. they just kept laughing at him.

He jolted back, slightly gasping. Fighting the urge to let tears run down his face and cry in the kitchen, but it had an extremley bad echo. god knows patton will wake with a start. he didnt wanna wake them up at this time, thatd be a crime. he'd had reoccuring dreams like this ever since he left the 'dark sides' it was a burden, some type of cruel punishment for leaving. being in a place he shouldnt be.

He pushed it off, shaking. Going to go get the instant hot cocoa mix from the top of the microwave. It was in a small box they used for popcorn too. he usually hummed to calm himself down but it would echo.Setting the hot chocolate mix down by the milk, he went to go get a cup from the cabinet.

One fell out when he opened the cabinet. Landing on the edge of the count then rolling off, Shattering.

The sound echoed throughout the mind palace. and no later then a minute did he hear patton rushing down the stairs to see what was wrong. he looked concerned, his hoodie to his cat onsie had fell off his head well he was sprinting down the stairs. deceit felt bad, he didnt want to wake anyone up, and patton of all of them.

"Shucks kiddo what happened?" His voice had a panicked tone too it.

Deceit just couldnt bring himself to own up to his purpose in this exact moment.

"i dropped it, i didnt wanna wake you up!-"

"oh Dee you look like youve been crying! what happened?" if anything was a concerned father, this was it.

And suddenly the whole world crashed around him. He collasped into patton, hugging him tightly. Crying, sobbing nearly. The warmth of Patton's embrace was comforting too him, almost like he was sitting near a cozy fireplace. He cried until he generally was choking and coughing on his own tears. Patton giving him a pat on the back.

All the crying awoke Logan first, then roman, then virgil. All coming down the stairs to see Deceit crying into pattons shoulder.

Quickly rushing over to provide more cuddles. he was technically engulfed into warmth as he got alot of cuddles from alot of concerned boyo. Patton invited them to sit on the couch and watch the lion king until Dee calmed down. Which everyone agreed to, and also a very suddenly excited roman. So they all sat down on the couch and Cuddled around Dee. Who patton was proud was in his snake pajamas he bought him for christmas.

They continued to cuddle and such till the movie was over, but by the time the movie was over, they were all asleep.

How It All Started

Summary: This is how Deceit even ended up in the other sides poly relationship.

Word Count: 4702

Warnings: Torture, mentions of abuse, um...Remus....yeah I know I said I wouldn’t write about the man, but eh he was essential for this story.

Pairings: DLAMP

“Roman we are not watching Cinderella again!” Virgil yelled, jumping for the remote in Roman’s hands.

“Jump for it Hot Topic.” Roman said to his boyfriend, while the other three of their boyfriends face palmed.

“Since it’s the anniversary of Deceit joining our relationship...shouldn’t we let him choose?” Logan asked, holding Deceit’s hand. He still wasn’t much for the fluff of the relationship but he was fine with the hand holding.

“Let’s not watch the Jungle Book.” Deceit hissed out.

“Ooo! It’s been a while since we’ve watched that!” Patton smiled. Roman found the movie, and Virgil found his way into his seat. Roman sat down in between Virgil and Deceit, and as the movie played Deceit just remembered everything that lead up to this.

Deceit was assisting everyone in the creation of their little pride party. They threw these every year ever since the four of them had gotten together, so Deceit was never invited as they didn’t really like him to begin with. This year was different however, Deceit was rather good when they weren’t on screen saying things like he had to go and stop Remus from escaping from the gate. So the sides inevitably invited Deceit, who at first was reluctant to go. Patton had begged the snake boi to join, and still stood his ground. Virgil ended up getting a little sick so the yellow section of the party would have been completely neglected if Deceit hadn’t came to help. Logan gave Deceit specific rules, nothing out of the ordinary but he did say that it all had to be lined up with the previous color. He was only going to set up decorations that were more focused around the colors yellow and green. Patton and Logan were handling the blues, Virgil was on the purple, and Roman took over red and orange. Deceit figured it was for the best, as these were the areas in which they were more comfortable with creating decorations for. As Deceit finished up with yellow he took a step back to admire his own work, and he began working on green.they were trying to get this all perfect adding their own style to each section. Deceit was finished, and began to leave heading back for his gate guarding duties, when Roman had walked up behind Deceit.

“Deceit could I ask you something about the yellow area?” Roman asked, tapping Deceit’s shoulder.

“Um no.” Deceit said, and Roman pointed at balloons, and table. Deceit stared at it for a bit when he realized, everything was not  lined up, which went against Logan’s rules. Deceit scrambled back over attempting to fix his mistake before the logical side had noticed. Which he was lucky enough to do with the help of Roman of course.

“I didn’t need your help.” Deceit mumbled, rubbing his arm. Roman chuckled, a smug smile on his face.

“Well I want the decorations to look good just as everybody else wants them to.” Roman said, walking over to Virgil and the rest of the group. This left Deceit on his own, he had made time to come and help the group set up for their party, but he had a job to go back to. He walked away before the other sides could see him leave to guard the gate that let any dark side leave their territory. It was a lonely job, as the only company he ever got was when Remus attempted to go and invade Thomas’s mind. Deceit sat down on the ground by the gate, only to hear a very familiar voice.

“So do you ever just think about ruining their party by killing Virgil.” Remus said, as he held onto the bars trying to break them. Deceit smacked his hand, and glared at Remus.

“Don’t touch the gate…” Deceit growled. Remus rolled his eyes and walked away. Deceit was bored, and he could only think about how much the other sides despised him. He saw their effort as them simply trying to be nicer to him and began silently crying, as to not bring attention to himself. He ended up crying himself to sleep, for what he thought were a few seconds, but suddenly four angry sides were glaring him down, with a rather intrusive dark side.

“Did you enjoy your nap?” Logan asked, as Virgil shoved Remus towards Deceit.

“I think you lost something.”

Deceit was overwhelmed, but didn’t want to show any signs of weakness. So he simply placed Remus back in the gated area, as the other sides complained how their party was ruined.

“If you were awake and watching the gate our party may not have been destroyed by Remus!” Patton scolded, and Deceit ended up shaking his head. He wanted desperately to be apart of their relationship, but he couldn’t because he could never be there. He was a dark side, a side no one particularly loved, much less liked. Deceit watched as the others left and set up their party for tomorrow, which Deceit was sure to stay up all night, and prepared to stay up all throughout the day tomorrow. The night was long and boring, hearing the dark sides taking their naps, only for them to try acting up later. And it wasn’t like Deceit could easily hold them back. His ability to keep a hold on what the dark sides did would have negative repercussions on him. So of course the next day when they resumed their party, he was so worn out. He just wanted an ounce of sleep, but as soon as one dark side was down, another was up and at it trying to escape, and they all knew now that Virgil wasn’t hurting Thomas anymore, so they wanted to try getting him back.

“Deceeeeiiiitttt let me out….it’s so boring….I’ll let you look at some p-”

“Yes.” Deceit cut Remus off, although Remus just pouted and walked back into his cell, one of the more easier dark sides to handle. The end of the day drew near, and Deceit’s eyes were slowly closing.

“Deceit are you hungry?” Patton asked, bringing a plate of snacks to the snake figure.

“Yes….” Deceit mumbled, too tired to lie though it always seemed like he was lying and Patton sighed beginning to leave with the plate of food. Deceit looked at Patton, a desperate cry came from Deceit.

“Food….” Deceit leaned against the wall, and slid down it his body finally giving up, it was not used to not eating or drinking, he normally had some breaks but today it was impossible due to how active the dark sides are around this time.

Patton spun around and placed the plate down next to Deceit and then left to go get something for him to drink. Deceit scarfed down the food, he left the plate next to himself, and waited for Patton’s return. Patton came back down with some water bottles, and then left. He didn’t want to see Deceit struggling, and that’s just what Deceit did, he only opened one water bottle and drank every drop of water, and decided that he would spread out the dates he drank water. He just hoped the food would keep coming down.

“How sweet~ Patton pities you…” Remus says, sitting by the gate again.

“Yesss, keep talking….” Deceit groaned, kicking Remus through the bars. Only getting his foot stuck.

“Sh*t.” Deceit attempted to get his foot out, but Remus took the opportunity, and yanked the boot Deceit was wearing off. This didn’t help Deceit at all, as when he tried getting his foot out his ankle would just get caught on the bars. Remus had left to go grab something, and when he returned he had a knife. He grabbed Deceit’s foot and just slowly dragged the knife down Deceit’s foot. Deceit was unprepared, so the pain was unbearable.  Deceit’s eyes watered, but didn’t want to show weakness. Remus left once more but this time brought more things to torture Deceit with. He didn’t say anything, and just took a lighter out and held it directly under foot. It was hours before Remus got bored, and left the gate again, to go and mess with the sides. Once Remus left, Deceit let out a soft sob, once again Deceit tried getting his foot out.

“Deceit!!!!!!!!!” a lot of annoyed sides came down with one dark side. They all saw Deceit laying down, but figured he was just taking a well deserved nap. They didn’t hear the soft sniffles

coming from him, so they turned to leave.

“Hello Deceit~ how’s the foot doing?” Remus asked, making his way back to his torture tools, and grabbed the knife once more to mess with Deceit’s foot, but he was able to make it further out and cut some of Deceit’s leg. Deceit finally couldn’t take it anymore and a distressed sob came from him. Roman turned around seeing Deceit on the ground, and panicked. He rushed over and snached the knife from Remus.

“Bad! Leave you fiend!” Roman yelled, as the other sides rushed over as well. Patton and Logan helped Deceit get his foot out of the bars, and Virgil managed to get all the things that Remus was torturing Deceit with. Deceit’s quiet sobs made everyone unsettled, they all noticed the bottles of water that Deceit was relying on, and Logan took notice of how freezing the room was, and how little light came in to keep Deceit from passing out while he worked.

“We should probably make his living quarters a bit more…” Logan was struggling to find the words to describe Deceit’s “room”.

“Survivable?” Virgil looked around taking notice that Deceit didn’t really have a “room” to really sleep in. It was just the gate Deceit watched, and a schedule on when each dark side was active. Patton was heartbroken, seeing the lying side, so distraught, it was a side to him they never actually saw.

“I mean I guess you could say that.” Logan stated, searching for a first-aid kit which was another thing Deceit didn’t own down here.

“Patton if you could go and get the first-aid kit from upstairs. It would be greatly appreciated.” Logan held Deceit’s foot, noticing the various cuts, and burns around it. To make it worse his ankle showed signs of bruising mostly from his many attempts to escape.  While Virgil took his jacket off to try warming Deceit up. Once Patton got back with the first-aid kit, he handed it to Logan and wrapped his cardigan around Deceit as well. Deceit was warming up a bit, but not enough for him to be wide awake, and his inability to sleep because of the gate guarding duties he was given made things ten times harder for him to stay awake.

“This is going to be painful.” Logan said, as he began cleaning the cuts that littered Deceit’s leg and foot. Deceit was prepared this time, and held his breath, and whenever he felt the pain was to much he’d flinch his foot away. Logan was patient with Deceit as he was used to doing this with Patton as well, when he got a small cut. Once Deceit’s foot was cleaned up and bandaged, Logan had Roman pick Deceit up and bring him upstairs, while Logan dealt with making sure the dark sides stayed at bay. Deceit’s body temperature was increasing steadily, as he no longer was in a dark freezing room. Roman laid Deceit down on the couch leaving to go and stay with Logan, while Patton and Virgil stayed with Deceit. Virgil was sure to run a hand through Deceit’s hair, as that had helped him calm down when he was panicked. And Patton made sure that Deceit was never in a state of hunger and or thirst.

“I’m okay. You guys can leave.” Virgil and Patton looked at each other but stayed with Deceit.

“You’re not okay, you’re hurt we’re going to take good care of you.” Patton said. Deceit squirmed, he felt uncomfortable the sides normally “hated” him. So he of course hid himself under Patton’s cardigan and Virgil’s jacket.

“Dee do you need anything?” Patton asked, carefully pulling the jacket and cardigan off to see Deceit’s face.

“No…” Deceit mumbled, and then Virgil got up to go and get Deceit a blanket. Patton just kept an eye on Deceit, and made sure he didn’t run off. Virgil came back with a blanket and handed Patton his cardigan back, and took his jacket back. Virgil threw the blanket over Deceit unsure of how to feel about Deceit being in this condition. Deceit slowly fell asleep, as he was now content with the warmth he had, though he didn’t feel safe. Not a bit.

Patton stared at Deceit for a bit before asking Virgil an important question.

“Should we let him into our rooms for the night?” Patton felt that Deceit was in danger after all he was working so damn close to the dark sides that he probably didn’t get enough sleep. Virgil snapped his towards Patton and replied.

“You trust him? Sure he’s been good for a couple weeks, but it’s still a huge risk.” Virgil was completely right, but in the back of his head, he knew that even Deceit didn’t deserve this. Patton sighed, knowing that Virgil would disagree with this for a while before accepting it. So Patton waited till Roman and Logan came back, which they did later.

“Who’s watching the gate now?” Virgil asked, as he stood up and moved away from Deceit.

“Some of my guards, they should be able to take over from now on. As I don’t think Deceit should be down there anymore.” Roman said, motioning his hands towards Deceit.

“That begs the question where will he be living? There’s not many rooms for him to occupy up here.” Logan said, and Roman shrugged.

“He can stay in the closet room under the stairs for a bit.”

Logan nodded at Roman’s suggestion, and Patton and him went to work on it. They finished up not long after and they had Roman move Deceit in there. The sides then went to sleep, deciding that they were not in the mood to have a movie night.

Deceit woke up, and looked around his new “room”. He sat up hitting his head on the lowered ceiling he had now. When he saw the door his first thought was to leave but when an intense pain shot through his leg, he sat down on his bed. He saw there was a heater in here, and fluffy blankets. Along with a digital clock, which read it was around seven in the morning. Deceit didn’t plan to get up, until the smell of pancakes, and eggs hit his nose. He didn’t realize he was hungry until then, and he carefully limped out of the room. He limped towards the kitchen and glanced around the corner, seeing Patton cooking and the other sides eating breakfast. Deceit instinctively walked away, but when he placed his hurt foot down he yelped. He panicked and rushed into the room he found himself earlier, he didn’t care about the pain. He sat curled up on the bed, he knew he normally wasn’t welcomed by the sides, so he wanted to stay far away from them until he was sure they weren’t going to kick him out and back to the gate.

A soft knock was heard from his door, and then it was opened, and Patton poked his head in, finding Deceit curled up and his foot clearly bleeding a bit. So he walked out to get Logan, who was in the room rebandaging the snake’s foot. Deceit stared wanting to make sure Logan didn’t try anything. Logan noticed but didn’t say anything, he didn’t want to pry into Deceit’s methods, besides he’d just lie about them.

“There. Does anything hurt?” Logan asked, standing up nearly hitting his head.

“Yes….” Deceit mumbled, which Logan nodded, and walked out. He just assumed that Deceit would lie at any moment given. So when he told a truth it was almost impossible to tell if it was. Deceit sat in the room for the rest of the day, and waited till he heard the sides walk upstairs, he limped out to get food, a meal a day was good enough for him. He found what little leftovers there were and snuck into his room with them munching on them and then going back to the kitchen and washing the dirty dishes. So of course after a few days of this, everyone got suspicious as to why the leftovers would just disappear. So one night Logan walked downstairs and found the snake himself taking the leftovers and limping to his room, so Logan waited in the kitchen for Deceit to walk back out. When Deceit did and when he saw Logan he knew the gig was up, nervous he cleaned the dishes and hoped that Logan wouldn’t question why he had them.

“So it’s been you eating the leftovers.” Logan stated, and Deceit gulped.

“No...I haven’t even seen the leftovers you speak of.” Deceit looked around for an exit.

“Don’t lie Deceit I watched you enter your room with them, and then leave with empty dishes.” Logan went on about how Deceit should stop lying if he wanted to be trusted by anyone. It was at this moment Deceit broke down, he was not used to having to sneak around like this, and limp around either.

“I’m sorry I was just hungry, but I knew you guys didn’t want me near you so I would wait till the night when you guys left dinner and take whatever leftovers were there. Every morning I’d bang my head on the ceiling and I just have nothing to do and nobody to lie to.” Deceit let out all the struggles of his living now, he was overwhelmed with all the new changes and Logan could see that.

“Deceit let me help you back to your room. And we will settle this in the morning.” Logan helped Deceit into his room and onto his bed, and then made his way to his room.

In the morning Logan made his way to the other sides rooms to wake them up, he wanted to see if what Deceit was saying was true, about him waking up and hitting his head. He told the other sides of the encounter he had and they were all on board. So they all walked downstairs and listened in on Deceit. And sure enough when Deceit woke up and a quiet “Ow.” was heard, but aside from that no movement. So Patton went to make breakfast and the other sides sat around looking to see if Deceit would make his way over. Sadly, Deceit didn’t leave his room, so Logan couldn’t confront the side about last night. Once they were all done eating breakfast, they all still waited to see if he’d leave his room. Though the side didn’t even appear, so Patton began placing the leftovers on a plate and brought it over to the living room, which it seemed like they were all meeting up at. Logan got up and walked to Deceit’s room, knocking on the door, he heard someone scrambling from bed, and the door was open to a rather teary eyed Deceit.

“W-What do you need?” Deceit tried keeping a smile on his face, despite the clear signs of him being distressed.

“Come on we need to talk.” And Logan didn’t wait for an answer, he just grabbed Deceit’s wrist and pulled him to the living room, where the other sides looked over and waved.

“Yes. Yes. I want to go over there!” Deceit cried, trying to escape Logan’s grip. Logan sat Deceit next to Virgil who helped him calm down shockingly.

Deceit sighed, and grabbed at Virgil’s hand. Virgil flinched, but held Deceit’s hand as well, knowing full and well that the lying side, was panicking. Patton got up and handed Deceit the plate, he wanted the other side to eat something.

“Deceit I’ve come to the conclusion that you are scared of us.” Logan stated, as Deceit’s grip on Virgil’s hand grew tighter.

“Y-Yes….” Deceit felt surrounded, Roman was sitting to his right, with Virgil to his left. Patton just sat close by Roman, while Logan stood in front of him. It didn’t help that Roman was holding that stupid sword of his. Deceit had zoned out staring at Roman’s sword, wanting to be alert to any movement made by Roman.

“Now does anyone have any ideas to make Deceit feel comfortable near us.” Logan asked, and Virgil rose his hand much like a student would.

“Roman could stop bringing that sword everywhere.” Virgil pointed at Roman, who looked down at the sword and then up at Deceit. Everyone finally took notice that Deceit’s eyes were locked on to it. Roman quickly left the room, to put the sword away, which left the others to think of other ways. Roman came back not to long after.

“How about we make a new room for him to stay in! So he’s not hitting his head early in the morning?” Roman suggested, which Patton and Logan nodded to, Virgil was skeptical, but then again Roman and Patton probably wanted to make a new room for him regardless.

“Roman. Patton. You two can work on that correct?” Logan asked, the two nodded.

“Oh! We could invite him to tonight's movie night!” Patton yelled excitedly. The other sides kind of stared at Patton, but Logan, Roman and Virgil nodded. He was uneasy, the suggestion was nice enough, but all that went through his mind was:

“Did they really want me around?”

“I-I mean no...I’d rather sleep in the closet.” Deceit said, and Roman frowned.

“So no?” Roman asked, and Virgil sighed.

“He means yes.” Virgil said, shrugging. Roman smiled, and then stood up.

“I’ll get to work with Patton, ideas for Deceit’s room won’t make themselves!” Roman ran upstairs with Patton following behind. Virgil stood up, and in turn yanked Deceit up. Deceit acted like he was fine but he was hella nervous.

“Logan should we start helping set movie night up?” Virgil asked, and Logan nodded.

“While Patton and Roman are normally the ones who set our movie night up, we’ll work on it.” Logan summoned a list and handed one to Virgil, who now was partnered with Deceit. Logan had his own list, and told them what he would be doing, and that was most of the pride decorations, while they were on snacks. Virgil and Deceit were in the kitchen, the cookies were what Virgil was willing to do, but the other thing that was supposed to be for the last day of their pride party, was the cupcakes, which required multiple colors of frosting, and tons of work. Deceit was not comfortable but said yes, anyways. Everything was going smoothly until, he had to make the frosting, and while he was working on it, he would mix up the colors due to someone mixing the caps up, didn’t know when or why it was done, it just was. But now Deceit was on the last color he needed to mix, and since this was it he was out of powdered sugar. So when he reached for the color he needed he put in another yellow instead of red. Virgil was finishing up with the cookies, but when he felt an overwhelming amount of anxiety, he looked for who it could possibly be, he didn’t expect Deceit to be panicking over an accidental color swap. Virgil helped Deceit calm down, saying that it was bound to happen with the amount of work given to him. The two of them just placed a whole bunch of red food coloring into the frosting, and sure enough they got a red color. Deceit felt much better, as they finished the timer for cupcakes had finished, and Deceit was taking them out. He let them cool off, while Virgil began making popcorn. Patton and Roman came in, and took over, saying that they would frost the cupcakes, and Roman noticed the excess amount of red used. He wasn’t worried though, because he saw red and he was fine with this. Virgil and Deceit decided to go to the new room created for him. Deceit was happy, seeing a heater in the corner of the room, and a spare one in his closet if one broke. Then he noticed the snake print on the bed sheets, with some nice fluffy pajamas for him when he went to movie night. Deceit was actually happy, the walls were a pastel yellow as to not hurt his eyes when he saw it. Virgil liked the room as well, sitting on the bed which turned out was heated, how Roman and Patton did it no one knows. Deceit laid down, and curled up next to Virgil, who wasn’t objecting. Virgil took his phone out and ran his hands through Deceit’s hair, the side blepped, which Virgil took pictures of to tease him later with. They were there for half an hour when Roman and Patton came up to tell them movie night was ready. The Virgil left to go and get changed into pajamas while Deceit switched into the fluffy pajamas that were left for him. He didn’t rush downstairs but still managed to trip over his own feet. Roman happened to be there and caught Deceit holding him close. Deceit was indeed a blushing mess.

“I would have been fine.” Deceit mumbled, and Roman rolled his eyes.

“Sure you would have been Jack the Fibber.” Roman walked over to the couch holding Deceit in his arms and searched Netflix for something to watch. Deceit was trapped on Roman’s lap to make room for Virgil to sit on the couch, but it didn’t stop the side from feeling trapped. None of this was really planned, and when Virgil came down, he already had a suggestion.

“What about Into the Spider Verse?” Virgil sat down next to Roman, and everyone agreed with Deceit just silently shaking his head no.

So they watched it anyways, knowing that he meant yes. Deceit was stuck in Romans lap, and felt so uncomfortable, and attempted to escape. Roman let go of Deceit not wanting him to have a panic attack, which he was lucky enough to avoid. Deceit sat on the floor which to be honest was the worse. He was cold, even with all the fluffy clothes he was wearing. So when Patton noticed him shivering, a fluffy blanket was wrapped around him. So Deceit was content now, watching the moving on the ground. Deceit was just so quiet, that everyone forgot he was there, when Patton had asked a question Deceit was sure to never forget.

“So when are we gonna ask Deceit to date us all?”

Deceit’s draw hit the floor. He turned to look at Patton, who blushed now realizing the mistake.

“I-I mean...now I guess.” Roman said, they all looked at Deceit hoping he wouldn’t reject them.

“Are you all positive you don’t want me?” Deceit asked, the movie playing in the background.

“Well if we didn’t want you then we wouldn’t have tried getting closer to you for the past month.” Logan stated, and now that Deceit thought of it, they were trying.

“Well my answer would have to be no.” Deceit said a huge blush on his face.

“Yes!” Roman cheered, as Virgil somehow some way made space for Deceit on the couch.

Present time

Deceit looked at Roman, remembering that he had rejected sitting on his lap a year ago. So he decided he had to do it now. And that’s just what he did, he plopped down on Roman, and stared at him. Roman was as red as his sash, and Deceit had a smug smirk on his face.

“Wow...I can see why I rejected this a year ago.”

“DECEIT GET OFF!” Roman cried, as the rest of the sides laughed a bit.

It sucked, and I know it did hopefully I fixed all the parts I realized weren’t cut out for the story, but now it’s done and is delivered on time!
