Ok but...
Bellatrix Lestrange is so adorable in that insane murderess kinda way
Can I send in a request for Draco Malfoy in which the reader is in Gryffindor house and is dating him, while being part of the trio? Her birthday is coming up and he hesitates at first to plan a surprise party for her with them in Gryffindor tower? It turns out to be probably one of the best parties she’s ever gotten or has ever gone to? (My birthday is coming up on the 18th) 😁😊
Draco Malfoy and the surprise party.
[Notes: YES BABY! OF COURSE! Happy birthday btw, I hope you like it. I tried to make it a neutral as I could since I don't know your age, but I hope you know that this one is specially about you.]
There are no warnings for this work.
Breakfast at Hogwarts used to be hectic, but Draco Malfoy's bubbling nerves were making it unbearable. It was September 17, his girlfriend's birthday, and there was a huge possibility that all his plans would fall apart. He had played dumb last night despite her hint about sleeping together even though it was a weekday, but he knew that she had wanted to start her birthday with him. He felt bad, but hoped what he had in store would make up for you.
As breakfast was ending, he glanced at his girlfriend who was laughing as she saw Ron Weasley's food-stained face. May Merlin save those three if they failed to do their part. He got up from his seat and went to greet her with a kiss on the cheek, acting like it was a day like any other. Just like everyone else was doing, Granger and Potter averted their gaze as soon as he got closer and Weasley's noise of disgust was not far behind. At the Gryffindor table they were calm, except for Longbottom who couldn't look at her without turning red.
"Morning, Draco" she said with bright eyes that blinked at him.
"Morning, ready for your first class?" Her smile narrowed a bit, due to the fact that she was expecting a birthday greeting, but from the looks of it, everyone had forgotten.
Her friends didn't say anything to her either and had had plenty of time in the common room before breakfast. She could give her boyfriend more time, but that didn't mean she wasn't a little disappointed.
He accompanied her to her class, one she shared with Ravenclaw, and on the way entertained her with a simple chat. Not giving any indication that he knew what day it was. Unfortunately and fortunately that was the only time they saw each other in the morning, since they shared classes after lunch and Draco could not accompany her to her classes without being late for his.
She kissed him goodbye, perhaps a little less enthusiastic than the other days, at the same time she saw the rest of her group of friends arrive at the classroom. A small downcast grimace settled on her face, The day was going to be very long and sad if none of her loved ones remembered her birthday.
With a sigh she walked into the classroom and took a seat next to Harry, while Ron and Hermione shared another desk. She quickly got into the conversation the three of them were having, trying to decide if it was better to tell them rather than wait.
***
The night was getting dangerously close, yet no one had wished her a happy birthday. But her hopes weren't over, Draco had told her to walk around after dinner. Hopefully, he would give her a small gift, kiss her with those breath-taking lips, and whisper the words she most wanted to hear.
After dinner, and a nice chat with her friends. With whom she really did not know what to do, they seemed so immersed in their lives that they wouldn't notice what's wrong. Draco went looking for her, took her by the hand and didn't hesitate to take her away from the Gryffindor table to take her to the gardens.
"I was waiting all day to be with you alone."
"Really? Why?" she returned, in a more hopeful tone than she would have liked"
"Because I regret turning down the offer you made me yesterday" He knew what she was thinking, so he decided to tease her a little.
"You better do, we could have started this day together."
"We could have, and we could have every ordinary day to ourselves."
Oh, Merlín, he did not.
Her heart cracked a little at his words. He was saying something so sweet but he didn't say the words that she wanted to. He was insinuating that they would stay together for life, yet he didn't knew her birthday.
Her hand clenched into a fist, much of her disappointment turning to anger. How dare he? After all the trouble they had to be together in the first place. All the fights and yelling she'd had with Harry, Ron, and Hermione, telling them that he was cool and really sweet once you met him. But it quickly deflated, they didn't remember either. No one in the whole damn school remembered.
She must have been quiet for a long time, because Draco released her hand and stroked her chin to place a long kiss on her lips. It felt bittersweet, it was so familiar and she loved kissing him, but now she felt like she had a whole new situation to deal with. When they parted, Draco wrapped her shoulders and they lay down on the grass, she couldn't help but be further away from him. She wanted to yell at him, cry until her eyes fall out, or do something, but to be honest she was dead tired, her head throbbing with the anticipation that she had all day. So she let him stay quiet and stroke her hair until the curfew almost ended.
He led her into the common room, knowing she was so quiet and subdued for her "forgotten" birthday. He didn't imagined that it would bother him so much to see her like this, he hoped that his gift and the party would fix it.
When they reached the portrait of the fat lady and she whispered the password, Draco held the portrait open after her. She walked into Gryffindor shuffling, when she noticed that the usual boisterous crowd was not there. Her back straightened alertly, it was totally silent until she felt the portrait clatter shut behind her.
She let out a little cry, before covering her mouth with her hands and feeling her eyes fill with tears. She look at the faces in the small crowd, Dean and Seamus were holding up a sign that wished her a happy birthday followed by her name. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny and everyone in the Quidditch team was there. Incluso estaban algunos de sus amigos de otras casas.
Large hands grasped her shoulders and a mouth moved to her ear.
"Happy birthday, love."
He turned her, so he could see her face and soon wiped her tears away. One of his hands reached into the pocket of his robe and took out a small package that he enlarged with his wand. It was too much for her and tried to compose herself when he opened the box and saw a precious locket along with a delicate chain.
"You knew it all day long didn't you?"
"Of course I did it."
She took the locket and opened it, there one side had the inscription of her birthday and on the other there was a photo of both of you, who waved at her.
"Well that's cheesy."
"Yeah, ferret boy does have a heart after all."
"Oh shut up, Weaselbee."
Draco grabbed the chain and undoing it, his girlfriend quickly turned around and lifted her hair so he could put it on her. After that, she went with her friends and everyone welcomed her with hugs and birthday wishes. Several colleagues greeted her and at some point the lights stopped being so bright and someone put on music.
When she noticed, several of them already had a full glass and were chatting, even getting ready to dance.
"I hope you liked it, you always said that Gryffindor parties are not so wild but funnier so I brought some things from my house" Draco said into your ear since the music was being so loud.
You thanked him, a good party is something that you have been needing thanks to all the stress of the classes and being friends with Harry Potter. You were ready to make all of that stop importing for at least a few hours.
Smoke began to spread throughout the room, the lights began to flicker and many joined in dancing to the song that was playing. It was something new, Gryffindor parties did not tend to push people to dance. But with the low lighting, the smoke and the possible participation of students from other houses, it seemed that many more dared to step on the "dance floor".
People were having an amazing time and so was the birthday girl, laughing with her friends and dancing with her boyfriend.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you this."
"What is it?"
"Well we didn't start your birthday together, but I'll be staying the night in Gryffindor, so we can finish it together. "
Happiness accumulated in her chest and she couldn't help hugging and kissing him fiercely. Organizing all of this must have been horribly cumbersome, but getting a free room in Gryffindor was even more difficult. He must have been planning it weeks in advance. Merlin bless this man and explain to her what she did to earn him.
I love Harry Potter bc all the characters have flaws and I have to rely on the canon to completely like them, it's like a whole new reality that is just like a normal reality + the books to zone out of that reality.
It's like a I zone out of the first reality, I fall into the canon world of Harry Potter and then I zone out of that other reality reading the books (fanfics) of that reality.
We don't talk enough about Bellatrix being the one who taught Draco oclumency.
Smut headcanons: Draco Malfoy
[Notes: well that's it, let me know if I missed any tw and if the grammar is wrong, English isn't my first language]
Tw: NSFW CONTENT!, Mentions of BDSM, cum play, wax play, impact play, edging, spit play, oral sex (male receives), dirty talk, bondage, shibari, Dom/sub relationships, nude photos, breeding kink, hickeys and marks, insinuations of public sex and nudity, begging, punishments, orgasm control, sex toys, sub space, dom space, sub drop, dom drop, degrading and praise kink, overstimulation and aftercare.
He's into Dom/Sub relationships, with him being the dom, changing from being soft to being hard. After the war he doesn´t feel good after losing control and being so vulnerable doesn´t make him feel good either, but he passionately craved an intimacy and trust as great as those offered by such relationships.
It made sense that as soon as he found out that these practices existed, he began to learn everything about them. He had several subs, men and women before being with you. The former were gentler, content with orgasm controls and a bit of dirty talk, but it wasn't enough for him. His fetishes were getting tougher and he started having trouble getting a sub. Until he met you and that allowed you to know everything about him.
For example: This boy is a T E A S E and he expects from you to take it without any complain.
He's way to deep into cumplay. He loves to see you pussy filled up with his cum after sex. He will pulled out and keep your legs wide open so he can see his seed falling from your entrance.
"This is the best view anyone could ever have, and it´s all for me."
Blow jobs are one of his favorite things, and that why they last so long. Both of you know that sucking hard while circling his tip will make him come in seconds, but that´s by the end of the activity because everytime you will start slow, knowing that you have plenty of time to please him.
After that he will demand you to stick your tongue out and wait for him to tell you when you can swallow. Sometimes he´ll just spat in it and let you swallow, other times he´ll get dressed and continue his chores like his paperwork or analyze his Quidditch matches while you are there, sit still for him.
He also has a lot of pictures of you covered in his cum, he keeps the photos in a large envelope, hidden in his underwear drawer and when he knows that you will not see each other for several weeks, he takes them with him.
"So I will remember what is waiting for me at home, when I return to you, love."
Of course all of this cumplay comes with a slight breeding kink. He thinks about you pregnant a lot and the fact that that situation will literally show everyone that you belong to him drives him crazy. But not enough to really risk getting you pregnant, you always practiced safe sex.
He will tell you that "you are the biggest slut that have ever walked on the earth, and you belong to me for use, you are mine, little whore, mine" and pretend that is the best compliment that someone could received. As if being insulted by him is something that people would pay for.
Hickeys and marks everywhere. He loves seeing the love bites in your skin as well as his fingertips marked on your hips and thighs.
Also, he discovered that writing his name on your ass cheek while his pounding you from behind is a hard turn on.
"Looking pretty after being marked by me, isn´t it?
He loves restraining you, from simple handcuffs to tying the intricate shibari knots, it's something that always drives him into a frenzy.
"Look at that! Sometimes I feel so selfish for keeping my slut only for me, you should be at some museum, like a piece of art."
Overstimulation is a big thing between you too.
"Why you said you can´t take it? You have done this before, don´t be a brat today, it wouldn´t end good for you"
In public you will wear this delicate necklace that he gave you when they agreed to go further. It was silver and had a piece with his initial that sat between your breasts.
"Now no one can forget that you are with me"
Honestly this man is very obssessed with everyone knowing that you belong to him.
Not even God can help you if you make him jealous on purpose, the punishment will be something you remember for weeks OR months if he decides that with just one session you didn´t learn the lesson.
Edging you in one of the public bathrooms and then make you beg for his permission to come when you are at home is one of his favorite things.
"Hearing you beg is the best thing of my day, every single time."
LINGERIE, tons of matching sets to see you in.
Also him breaking them when you teases him and he can´t wait.
"Shut up, you know I will buy you more"
Spanking is good, but sometimes you will stop or just make the whole session about that.
This game makes both of you very lost in the scene, it takes you very deep and most of the time it is so much that it leaves you lost for a couple of days thanks to the chemical disaster that is the brain of both.
However when the game is light, a few spanks on your ass will make it or a thick-bristled flogger (so they don't get as much into the skin and therefore don't hurt like a fine-bristled one) will do it for you.
"Red really is your color."
Whips and belts are for tougher sessions, but he tends to pull them out to scare you.
The aftercare is always soft and full of cuddles.
It usually adapts to what they did, for example if you played with wax, he will bath you in hot water while removing the remains of the game with gentle hands.
If it was impactplay, he will put a cream with anesthesia to numb the pain while you rest.
"You did so good for me, love, you were excellent."
"I love all of you, thank for trusting me so much."
He will be the sweetest version of himself after a scene, stroking your back with soft fingers while repeating how amazing you are.
Well I made a list of forty items (more or less) about the +18 headcanons I have about Draco Malfoy.
I'll probably upload it on Saturday or Sunday, so tell me who you want to be next.
I'm seriously debating starting to upload Harry Potter One Shots, the ones with +18 to be honest.
I'll probably start with some smut headcanons, so you all can leave a request ;)
I don't care if you don't ship Drarry, Dramione, Deamus, Wolfstar, Linny, etc I really don't.
But if you go on the post about Drarry and comment "eeew", "I was going to like but then it was Drarry" I'm thinking that you were raised by Lucius Malfoy because the only person that though their opinion was so important that everyone want it to hear it was Draco Malfoy.
Like seriously, what do people gain by commenting shitty things about the things that other people loves? Do you not see me trying to make this post about this thing™ so it's a safe place for people who likes this thing™? Shut up and go to the hate hashtags were your opinion matters.
Like saying that "Ginny Weasley is straight wtf💀" in a post about Linny just makes everyone uncomfortable, it doesn't make anyone to stop liking them, just makes them feel scared or defensive when they're about to post about them.
For not to mention the people who sends death threats to someone because they like Dramione because they are "romanticizing abusive relationships", as if by shipping them they encouraged people to be abusive with their partners. Literally makes me so mad, I miss the fandom before Dracotok era so fucking much.
Just stop like if I said "Remus never knew how to cook properly, but Sirius felt as free in the kitchen as if he never was a prisoner" is for people to comment "yes, but breakfast and tea were all made by Remus, I just can't imagine Sirius getting snacks, like Remus just would put them on his hand" not for you to go "lmaooo💀 Blackinon supremacy 🛐🛐" who made you feel as important? Why do you wanna comment that? It's your life so boring that you feel the need to comment passive agressive things? I can't imagine someone being like "Yeah, I feel great after pointing that out, now everyone would stop liking this".
Yes, I was very mad.
Yes, I love spitting facts
So you are telling me that some author wrote a male character that is supposed to be The bully™ but also decided to make him witty in like "fast reflect to answer insults with worse funny insults" type, gave him remarkable good grades, make him caring for his image and hygiene, made clear that he loves his mum and his royalty is with his family no matter what (even when they're all in the bad side), show him uses sarcasm and irony since he's young and he's doing it well, make him love attention and wanting people to like him, put him in a position where he can fit the "LGBT+ character that has loving parents but if they knew they would be abusive" trope, even put a scene where he can decide if the hero gets caught or not and him deciding that THE HERO IT'S NOT GETTING CAUGHT EVEN WHEN IT COULD BENEFIT HIS FAMILY
i wish i could translate my fanfics from russian to english so i could discuss it with you guys. I’m actually thinking about it a lot nowadays, so I’ve decided to tell you their summary – maybe you’ll actually be interested in it.
1) Back to Black | ~100k words | Drama, Angst, Romance
Ginny Weasley/Draco Malfoy, Ginny Weasley/Blaise Zabini, Pansy Parkinson/Harry Potter
The events taking place during Half-Blood Prince, and obey to the narrative’s timing completely (I am obsessed with details and tried to keep it as closely to Missing Scenes genre as it could be). Ginny feels extremely lonely and isolated from everyone else after what happened in the Ministry. The only person, who is there to comfort her is, surprisingly, Blaise Zabini. After some time of personal dilemma, she started to date him. But since Draco is his best friend, the two are getting closer – so they can be lonely together.
The story also tells a lot about Silver Trio – Draco, Pansy and Blaise. Their friendship is one of the main lines of the narrative, and Pansy is one of my favourite characters. It is my main work, and I've started this ff almost ten years ago.
2) Fragile | ~20k words | Drama, Angst Ginny Weasley/Draco Malfoy, Harry Potter
After the war is over, Harry is visiting Draco Malfoy in his top-secret cell in Azkaban, the day before his Dementor’s Kiss. His main goal to interrogate him for the last time – to try to find out something about missing parts from Ginny’s diary, that he’s maybe finally be willing to tell. As the story unfolds – there are a lot of flashbacks from the time, when Draco and Ginny worked together side by side, in the Army of the Death Eaters. Why was she there? And where is she now?
That one is way more dark than the first one. A few of my readers told me that “Manacled” reminded them of this work. I haven’t read that one yet – so I can’t tell.
please tell me if that's sounds interesting to you, so I could decide if I should try to find the translators :) thnx!

Your daily routine hadn't changed much since your encounter with Draco Malfoy, well it hadn't changed if you didn't count all the times since then that you spent anywhere quite far away with that blond who made you shiver.
The rumour had already spread around the school, your Ravenclaw beau hadn't wasted any time, but you were fine with the situation as long as people talked from afar and didn't bother you.
But that day you had to face your friend's interrogation, at least she deserved answers.
“How long have you been with Malfoy behind my back?” she asked without understanding how or when that had happened.
“Almost two weeks.” You answered with a face as red as a tomato and fiddling with the food on your plate. Feeling Draco's eyes on you in the Great Hall, whenever you were apart, hadn't helped you to hold normal conversations.
“So, the mark on your neck wasn't a mosquito?” she glanced at you somewhere between amused and embarrassed.
“No…” you confessed, remembering the number of hickeys Malfoy had devoted himself to leaving on your neck, marking you as his own.
“I can't believe it.” she laughed out loud. “Who made the first move?”
“He took the initiative and I did the rest.” you said proudly.
“Look at you... And I thought you only had eyes for the characters in those novels you read.” she mocked you.
It was true that the only person who had aroused your fascination was the famous Slytherin. You didn't know why, but before you knew it, your gaze was already following him everywhere, trying to decipher what it was hiding behind those cold and lonely eyes.
The same seemed to have happened to him, or so he confessed to you on one of your nocturnal escapades. He didn't understand how anyone could look at him with such indifference, and he promised himself that he would get some kind of reaction from the face he had fallen in love with.
You two still had a deal to keep, the Yule Ball was in less than three days. The Heads of Houses had already started to teach you the necessary rules, though you could only think about what Draco would look like in a suit.
Oh, hell! You hadn't even considered what you were going to wear, your head had been occupied with far more amusing thoughts.
That evening your friend came along with you to Hogsmeade, your parents had sent you some money and you were hoping to find something decent at Gladrags amongst all those socks.
You wanted to dazzle Draco, to see his pupils dilate in your presence so that he could think of nothing but you. So you went to great lengths to find a dress to match the situation.
As you imagined, there was hardly anything worthwhile left on the hangers in that shop. You went round and round, searching every possible nook and cranny, but nothing. Just as you were about to give up, a piece of blue cloth, hanging on a nearby rack, caught your eye. You couldn't even get your hands on it before a group of Slytherin girls who had been lurking around the shop got to it before you could.
"Did you want this?” one of them asked you mischievously. “Well you wouldn't know how to wear it anyway, some people just aren't cut out for classy clothes.”
You were caught unawares. It was the first time you had ever been the target of a Slytherin and you thought you knew why.
“Why don't you mind your own business?” Your friend stood up for you.
“Give it up, it's not worth it. Some people have too much time on their hands.” You stopped her before things got ugly.
It couldn't bother you any less, that attempted sabotage only meant that they knew Draco was no longer on the market.
You left the shop disappointed that you hadn't found a dress for the ball. Although the bad mood lasted as long as it took you to find Draco strolling around Hogsmeade with Crabbe and Goyle.
“Well, well, but who do we have here?” his expression turned from his typical frown to a warm, relaxed smile as you approached him.
You didn't miss the surprised faces of Malfoy's "friends" at his change of mood. You were more than pleased to know that this was a side of Draco that only you could experience.
"We had shopping to do." you explained. "But, we were just on our way back to Hogwarts."
"Empty-handed?" he wondered, giving you a suspicious look.
"You should tell him." your friend whispered in your ear.
“Tell me what?” you noticed his brow furrowing. You didn't want Draco to know what happened, you weren't a little girl who needed his protection, but it was already too late.
“Could you at least buy me a butterbeer?” you sighed a little wearily at the number of events that had happened in such a short time.
Your friend took that proposal as a sign to get back on her way. She didn't want to come between the lovebirds. As for Crabbe and Goyle, all it took was a "Disappear" from the blond and within seconds it was just the two of you.
"You should be nicer to them," you smiled as you realised how childish Draco could be sometimes. He was so eager for you two to be alone that he didn't even bother to hide it.
"They're used to it." he defended himself as he took you by the hand and led you in the direction of The Three Broomsticks. You intertwined your fingers with his and let yourself be swept away with an idiotic grin on your face.
For a few seconds you regretted your request. There, in those snowy streets, it was just you, Draco, and the feeling that the world belonged to you and the slytherin alone. You didn't want it to end.
He sensed your body's resistance and turned to you. He caught you in his arms, grabbing your chin and forced you to look at him. His cheeks were red with cold, his eyes tinged with worry and fear...
"Have you had enough of me?" he asked bitterly. You blinked in confusion, what the hell was he talking about? You cupped his cheeks with your hands, making him shiver with the warmth you radiated.
“As if that were possible... “ you whispered, looking him in the eyes, to make your message clear. You had never been aware of how lonely Draco felt until you started dating him, but what broke your heart the most was seeing how he was ready for you to leave him at any moment. “It is you, Draco Malfoy, who will not get rid of me so easily.” you threatened him.
Without you expecting it he wrapped his arms around you and hugged you as if his soul went into it. If you didn't know how proud the Slytherin could be you would swear that for a second you saw a tear fall down his cheek, but trapped against his chest, you couldn't see anything, only feel Draco's heartbeat thundering against your whole body.
“If we stay here much longer we'll freeze, and I don't want you to blame me if you catch a cold.” He broke the embrace and without waiting for a response, he took you by the hand and led you to The Three Broomsticks. Someone had suddenly become shy and you couldn't help but smile.
Once there, finally with a butterbeer in your hand, he forced you to tell him what had happened to you before you met. The Slytherin had too good a memory to forget the incident. You explained to him, somewhat embarrassed, how you had completely forgotten to buy a dress for the Yule Ball and how the only thing you could find in the shop had been taken from you by a group of Slytherins.
“y/n, tell me who they are and I swear they won't dare show their faces in front of you ever again.” The knuckles of his hand turned white and his body language adopted his father's gestures.
“Don't even think about it.” you tried to calm him by taking his hand and interlacing your fingers. "But..." you put a finger to his lips to shut him up. “I want all your attention on me, I don't want you to even think about them.” you interrupted him. Draco grinned slyly, every day he was more and more sure that he had found the right one.
“Don't worry sweetheart, you're already the only thing I think about all day long.” he confessed before kissing you, the taste of butterbeer intensified in your mouth accompanied by an overflowing warmth.

Everyone was excited about Yule Ball but you couldn’t be less bothered about it.
Changing classes was a spectacle since Yule Ball was two weeks ahead. Boys and girls declaring their love in every single corner. Such a cheesy view made you want to shut yourself in your bedroom and not go out until everything came to an end. Why was everyone so desperate?
As a Ravenclaw anything apart from books, classes, etc. was a waste of time. Going to the Yule Ball wouldn't make you pass Snape’s exams.
“y/n” your friend called you several times before you could hear her “Any date for the Yule Ball?”
“You too?” you spited out almost offended. Why are you so obsessed? You asked her trying to figure out how a dance could make people go insane.
“C’mon, you could relax.” she laughed “Tell me the truth, not even a Durmstrang student makes you want to go to the ball?” she added when some of them walked by your left.
Your eyes landed on them, they were handsome, tall and the dream of every girl or boy. But not yours…
A huge group of people in front of the class you were going to made you curious. “What is going on?”
“It’s happening again” your friend laughed excitedly while she dragged you with her to have a better view. It wasn’t a surprise to find a certain blonde in the middle of that fuss. A really nervous Slytherin was in front of him with her eyes shut down and with her whole body shaking.
“She must be the fifteenth or even the twentieth.” Another Slytherin murmured behind you.
Your brain started to put the pieces together. As the most popular Slytherin, Draco Malfoy was a very desirable target for the Yule Ball, but you didn’t expect to witness a proposal, and even more, as far you had heard it wasn’t the first one.
“Do you want to be my date to Yule Ball?” the girl in front of Draco said with a honeyed voice.
The boy didn't seem very amazed. Giving a fast peek at his surroundings, sighed in frustration with his hand buried in his blonde hair. Your eyes met for a few seconds and he narrowed them in your presence. The truth was that you weren’t friends, not even acquaintances but for a mysterious reason he detested you. You were a great witch from a good family, none blood thing could justify his aversion. But every time you crossed paths you felt like you did something wrong.
His face displayed an annoyed gesture, and his fingers went to his temples, massaging them. “I don’t have time for this rubbish.” his head turned away from you and landed on the poor Slytherin’s girl. “Get lost.” he huffed just the right moment McGonagall appeared, dissolving the big crowd. “Whatever is happening can continue after my class.” she announced heading every student inside.
The next classes were very peaceful, no more random events on the hallway. You and your friend were on your way to the Great Hall when you remembered you needed to return a book. Your friend and you split apart, and you hurried up your way.
The hallways were empty, everyone one was on their break. You were grateful for a little bit of peace, you took your time in the library wandering around, it didn't surprise you when you found another Ravenclaw. The library was the temple of all of you, but it didn’t feel right when he started to smile in your direction and not take his eyes off of you. Something was wrong and it pissed you.
It almost gave you a heart attack when he faced you the moment you put one foot out the library. “y/n, can we talk for a moment?” he asked you kindly with his face tinted slightly pink. That scene recalled a certain moment of the morning and your hands started to sweat. The boy in front of you was the same age but you hadn’t exchanged many words through the years, you didn't even know his name. You bit your lower lip trying to kill the urge of running away. “Sure…” you hesitated in a lower voice and with your hands clenched to your cape
“I hope it isn’t too late.” he whispered, rubbing his neck “By any chance would you like to go with me to Yule Ball?”
You froze and your usual eloquence disappeared. You couldn’t imagine that that would happen to you. You didn't plan a negative for the occasion, and you didn't want to go to the ball, because the truth was that HE would never ask you to go with him, and no one else had your interest.
“I’m sorry but…” you faltered to say. Your mouth was dry, and you couldn’t find the words.
“What y/n want to say is that she is already taken.” a very known voice interrupted you. Your brows raised in surprise when you saw Draco come out from behind a pillar.
“That's true?” the Ravenclaw looked at you with surprise, you were surprised as well, in which world were you Draco’s date? Maybe you just hit your head.
He came closer and one of his arms wrapped around your waist, your whole body shivered. He was the only one who could make you feel like that. “It’s true” you lied with your face completely red and avoiding the eyes of any of the boys. Sadly, it was a lie you wanted to believe with all your heart. The Ravenclaw gave up and disappeared after he looked at you very surprised. Your heart was pounding in your chest, you were alone with Draco and you were afraid to do or say anything that could break the spell.
“Why have you done that?” you slapped Draco away, as much as you wanted that touch you didn't want it to be as a part of a lie. He faced you with his beautiful grey eyes and smirked maciously. “Don't you know?” he whispered in your ear. You blushed entirely, your face, your neck, etc. “I thought you hated me.” you answered with your eyes locked on the floor, you were unable to look him in the face. Your head was spinning, you couldn't forget all those scornful looks in the hallway.
He grabbed you by the chin and lifted it forcing you to look at him. "And I hate you.” he said in a deep voice. “I hate your indifferent face every time we meet, the way you smile at all your friends.” You got goose bumps but trying not to be intimidated you answered "If I didn't know you, I'd say you have feelings for me..." you tilted your head with innocence and a wide smile on your face. You weren't going to let Malfoy have all the control of the situation, if he wanted to play dirty you also knew. The blond boy looked at you in surprise, you had left him speechless. Point for you. But he seemed to recover immediately, clinging to your hips, and trapping you against the nearest wall, his head rising to your height, and your faces just a few inches away. “You've always been very smart.” he sighed on your neck, making you turn your head to the side leaving even more bare skin in sight. He deposited a quick kiss in the crack of your neck "What about you? he started to play with a strand of your hair. Your head was full of Malfoy, your legs were shaking and since he had cornered you against that wall you were unable to add two plus two. Everything seemed like a dream. A dirty one, but with Draco it couldn't be any other way. You managed to hear his question, he wanted to know how you felt even if he had not spoken, not verbally. “I'd say it's a tie.” you almost moaned when he pulled up your skirt caressing your thighs. He rested his forehead on yours, enraptured by your half-open mouth, your watery eyes and your heavy breath. “What do you say if we try to break the tie? '' he smiled “You and me at the Yule Ball.”
You smiled at him. “Deal.” you whispered, taking him by his tie to press his lips against you in a hungry kiss. He took advantage immediately and did not hold back. You melted in his embrace and bit his lower lip when you felt his hard bulge against your centre.
Who would have thought it? You had a date.

You anxiously walk up to the sorting hat, gingerly sitting down on the stool. Scanning the room for your brother, you finally notice him sitting on the Gryffindor table, sending him a small smile. You heard all side conversations pause, everyone waiting in anticipation to see where Harry Potter’s little sister would get sorted.
As you feel the hat settle on your head, you remember what your brother had told you, and immediately started repeating the word Gryffindor over and over.
“Not gonna work this time” you heard the hat whisper. Before you could comprehend what it meant, you heard a loud voice bellow “SLYTHERIN!”

“Looking good, Malfoy.”
He looked up at you, eyebrow raised. Draco did, in fact, look incredible. Not just the all black suit, not just the expensive jewellery, but the messy hair and the way he casually rested his head on his hand.
He stood up and rounded you, coming to stand behind your back and sliding two arms around your waist. His lips touched your neck and hovered just above skin, his breath hot as he whispered, “I’ve been your husband for four years, and you’re still calling me ‘Malfoy’?”
You tilted your head slightly, biting your lip to suppress a grin as you hummed in amusement. He obliged, and slowly kissed down your neck. He seemed to follow the beat of your pulse, trailing his way down. One. Two. Three. Then your pulse sped up as his touch grew intense.
You felt his hand start to lift from your waist, but before he could go any further you reached up and touched his neck, pulling him gently to look up. Before you stood a full length mirror, where Draco’s reflection frowned at the interruption and yours grinned back at the two of you.
“I was talking to myself.”

Draco Malfoy:
Nightcall: You and Draco enjoy bending and breaking the rules when it means you get to see each other. Sometimes, all you need is a night shared between the two of you to run through the halls of Hogwarts.

Draco Malfoy x Reader
Here's a visualizer for the fanfiction I posted!! 💚💚
Pairing: Draco Malfoy X Reader
Simple school life with Draco except you both live on the more dangerous side; willing to bend and break school rules for fun.
⚠️ Warnings: swearing, sexual talk, mentions of blood⚠️
Filch had caught you wandering the school corridors alone at night. Great. Although you weren't doing anything wrong and all you wanted to do was walk off a nightmare and stare out at the stars, he had been a stickler for the rules, and thus, you landed in detention.
The corridors were now full of bustling students; a contrast from the dead empty halls when the sun went down as you made your way to Professor Dumbledore's office, waiting to be given your detention assignment. Funny how being a Hufflepuff has only made you hate their usual standard of being a happy-go-lucky and lover of people. You despised basic social interaction, something that had started with anxiety in your youth and had stuck with you until now. You could always put on a brave smile and stick through a conversation, but once that was done they could count on you heading straight back to your dormitory.
You just liked to be alone.
But a particularly asshole-ish blonde boy with a daddy kink ruined that for you.
"Oi, (Y/N), why the fuck are you wearing a skirt?! It's freezing outside!" Draco stated as he ran up to where you were following Filch, most likely coming back from an intense test in potions; you inferred based off of the way he glared at Snape and how his usually gelled hair was now spiking up in odd places. Draco had a horrible habit of ripping out his hair when he was stressed; you wanted nothing more than to put one of those dog cones around his neck when his hair-ripping days got really bad.
"Because it's the fucking school uniform, Malfoy." You stated with a smile on your face. You guys always joke like this and it was very refreshing to poke fun when other students tend to be expectant of the fake nice all the time.
Draco mumbled something about how it was misogynistic to make women wear skirts in the winter for school uniforms (which he's right) as he removed his large green and silver Slytherin Quidditch sweater and forced it over your head.
Oh shit, that's hot as hell. Especially since you're a Hufflepuff.
You tousled his hair and gave him a peck on the cheek. "You'll always be my bitch."
"Mhm. I enjoy it, actually."
He laughed and offered to hold your schoolbooks to which you declined. You had to go to detention which was on the opposite side of the school to where Draco had Herbology next. You memorized his schedule. Mainly because it was the same as your own with the only exception being that he had Defense Against the Dark Arts second period and you had it last.
"Why can't I hold them, where are you going? Or is this another one of your speeches about how you're not reliant on me?" He asked with a puzzling expression on his face. Merlin, he was cute.
"I have detention!" You stated with false enthusiasm, mainly because you knew it was over something stupid. You even threw in some jazz hands in the direction of your boyfriend.
"Oh. Is it because you left my dormitory late last night?" He asked.
Filch, who was standing idly waiting for you to finish your conversation so you could continue your path to Dumbledore's office, overheard this.
"Malfoy, you had a girl in your dorm? That's against school policy and you're going to have to follow me for detention as well." Filch sneered and pet Mrs. Norris who was placed so delicately in his arms. You hated that stupid cat.
"Draco you're a fucking idiot."
"Yeah but I'm your idiot." He smiled and grabbed your hand. "Change of plans, I guess we get to hang out today after all."
***
The walk to Dumbledore's office had been fun, you'd hate to admit it, but wearing Draco's sweater with him holding onto your arm and the stares it got you filled you with an unreasonable amount of pride. Like 'fuck yeah, I'm dating Malfoy, the hot mysterious boy who hates all of you but me.'
As you turned the corner you saw the Golden Trio sitting by the foyer steps and arguing about something stupid, Hermione trying desperately to fix Harry's glasses and Ron fiddling with his robes. You were friends with Harry, much to Draco's dismay, because you had grown up in Little Winging together. You had also been unaware of the magical world so when you two both received your Hogwarts letters looking at each other like a 'what the hell is this?' you had grown a close bond.
"Hey (Y/N)! I need your help picking up a package from Zonko's later if you're not busy." He said, approaching your spot in the hall.
Uh oh.
"What do you want, Potter?" Draco sneered from next to you, looking in the direction of the tan boy with the scar glistening on his forehead.
"What's it to you, Malfoy?" Harry was immediately backed up by his friends as he stared the blonde boy down. You could tell he was a Gryffindor via the aura of unnecessary confidence radiating from him. Bright green eyes and broken glasses, you would've taken him to be the calm and composed type if you hadn't known him.
Draco flicked him in the nose, tightening his grip on your hand. "Absolutely nothing other than the fact that your ugly face disturbed my walk to detention," he gave his infamous sneer.
"Ha! Bleached blonde is going to detention! For what, being an arrogant prick?" Harry chortled with Ron laughing from behind. Hermione looked genuinely bored as she usually did and readied her wand in case this fight got serious. She knew Malfoy played dirty.
"Actually...." Draco began, "It's because I fucked your best friend." At this, he made a dramatic gesture by kissing your face roughly and flipping Harry off.
You, however, were not having it.
"And goodbye." You said as you left the boys to argue, following Filch the rest of the way towards the office.
***
Twenty minutes later, Draco sits next to you sporting a bruised cheek and a bloody lip. He looked really pissed, and now he had to spend his time sorting letters in the Headmaster's office.
"Babe, what happened?" You asked with a voice full of worry as your hand went to glide up to his lip as you assessed the damage. You were gonna yell at Harry for this later.
Draco (who was fine) saw that you were concerned and willing to baby him so he made everything sound worse than it actually was.
"You left and then Potter said something about how I didn't deserve to be with you so I got mad and then he hit me." He quivered his lip for a dramatic effect.
"Awh poor ferret." You smiled a bit and he scowled as he was used to getting called that stupid nickname.
"It was one time."
"Yeah, but that Transfiguration was funny as hell."
"Oh shut it." He said, pretending to be angry as he picked up the neglected letters on the mahogany table. He looked frazzled with his hair all messed up and a bloody lip, but it was a good look on him. Maybe it was hot, even.
***
"Potter you fuckass where are you?" You asked, stepping into the Gryffindor dormitory in response to the fight he had with your boyfriend. You were friends with Harry, sure, but you weren't about to let him mess with Draco's pretty face. Especially since you stared at it all the time.
The boy in question was sitting with his legs crossed by the fireplace, playing with the tassels on one of his House scarves. You sat down next to him and stared at him before laughing. Draco had definitely done more damage to Potter's face.
With a black eye and cut running alongside his nose, Harry looked towards you and smiled. "You're starting to sound a lot like Malfoy with your incessant swearing."
You laughed and moved his curly hair away from his face. "I would like it if you didn't destroy my stuff, Potter. I happen to like Draco's face and I would prefer for it to be intact when I see it."
Harry fake gagged at this as he rolled his eyes. "I'm more hurt than he is, and I've known you for longer." He said with a smile.
"You can handle it, you fought Voldemort once or twice, killed a Basilisk, got crushed by the Whomping Willow, Broke your godfather out of Azkaban, Won the Triwizard Tournament, Exiled Delores Umbridge......do I need to continue?" You situated your head comfortably in his lap looking at the ornate ceiling above you.
"As much as I appreciate you listing my accomplishments, I think I'd prefer a bandaid for my face."
"I'm surrounded by babies." You laughed as you went to grab your wand to conjure up a bandaid.
"Hey (Y/N)," Harry began, watching you get up, "What do you see in him anyways? He's my worst enemy."
"Over the Dark Lord?" You joked.
"Serious."
"Okay, okay," you started, sticking the small bandage onto his cheek. "I guess I like him for things you wouldn't be able to understand. You really don't know him all that well."
Harry looked at the fire tentatively in thought as he pondered over your response. What is it about the bitch that he didn't know already? Other than the fact that his blonde hair wasn't real or that he one time accidentally tripped on the way to Quidditch practice and landed in a mud puddle when he thought no one was watching? What is it about him?
"Eh sure, okay I guess I trust your judgement."
"Good." You said, going to lay back down on his lap. "When did you want to head out to Zonko's?"

Back at the Hufflepuff dorm, you found yourself making Chamomile tea and filling it up with coffee creamer; a delicious trick you learned from one of your best friends under the Ravenclaw house. You made one for Draco since you knew he would come visit you soon and ask for a cup before you situated yourself at the small table in the lounge area.
The Hufflepuff dorm was nothing short of beautiful. Whereas the other houses prided themselves in their luxurious architecture, the Hufflepuffs had built their home focused more on comfort and tranquility rather than perfection and style. It was a large round building with equally round windows that let in the sunlight, and was covered in plants that were sparadically placed on the ceiling. The big couches were mismatched and comfy and some of them had patches that were fixed up by the more artsy Hufflepuffs within the commons. To describe it as a smell would be to say that it is similar to petrichor- the earthy smell that follows after the rain; and sandalwood incense, courtesy of one of the Scamander children.
"(Y/N)?" You heard your name and mumbled a 'yeah' in response, holding out Draco's mug of tea and waited for him to situate himself beside you on the sofa as he always did.
He took the mug from your left hand and placed it on the side table, also placing yours beside it. Guess he wasn't thirsty.
Instead, he laid down on you in a way similar to how you were with Harry earlier except he had placed your hand on his face. "Do you want to sneak out again tonight?"
"You liked detention that much, huh?" You snarkily responded and kissed him softly on the head.
"Listen. I want to play music and run through the halls. I think it'd be fun, unless you're too much of a pussy to do it." He sneered.
"Why do people use pussy as a word to describe something that is weak and balls to describe strength? Women bleed every month with an excruciating pain equivalent to that of a heart attack, whereas you could flick a man in the penis and he would cry about how much it hurt." You said as you picked up the neglected tea from the table and took a sip.
"That's a good point." He said looking up at you.
"I know." You smiled back down at him, messing with his tie that he never knew how to wear properly so it always hung loose under his collar. He was really pretty. So you decided to vocalize your thoughts.
"You're really pretty." You said looking directly into his eyes.
"Wow, a compliment coming from your lips and not an insult. I'm not used to this side of you." He joked and booped your nose.
"Enjoy it while it lasts."
"And there it is."
And wow, were you in love. His sharp and angular face with piercing grey eyes and a soft smile to match. His hair that framed his face perfectly when it wasn't gelled back (or being pulled out) was shining under the soft glow of the sunset. He looked nothing short of ethereal, laying on your lap like this. If someone had told you in your first year that you'd end up in this position with the Slytherin prince himself, you would've laughed in their face. Now, you couldn't imagine a time where he didn't come to see you on the days you weren't swamped by homework.
"Draco."
"Yuh huh?"
"I think I'm in love with you."
He squinted against the bright light as he looked up at your face. "Well I would hope so."
"Just thought I would remind you."
***
Night fell and when everyone else was supposed to be wearing their pajamas, you were slipping on your jeans and Draco's sweater. You didn't really want to get into trouble again since you wanted to finish your episode of Euphoria after classes tomorrow instead of in a cold room sorting through letters, but you couldn't deny Draco of his idea. You were excited to spend more time with him and you realized that he was one of your favorite priorities.
"Ready to go?" He asked from the end of your bed, still wearing your sweater over his school uniform. "I feel like if we wear our robes it'll be fun since they'll flow when we run."
"How deeply did you think about this, Malfoy?" You asked tauntingly.
"Arguably too much." He stated back, rustling through his satchel.
"Relax, I'm excited too. After you, ferret." You opened up the door and motioned for him to be the first one out after you had put on your Hufflepuff robes.
Draco led you through the Hufflepuff common room being very careful not to wake anyone up. Hand in hand and adrenaline pumping through your veins, you made your way to the entrance of the hallway. Once you were in the clear, you slipped through and followed him into the brightly lit corridor.
"(Y/N)."
"What?" You ruffled up his hair and smiled.
"Tag, you're it." He grinned like a maniac and took off in the opposite direction.
"Oh Malfoy you little shit." You mumbled under your breath, making sure to stay quiet as you guys were still breaking the rules.
I'm giving you a Nightcall to tell you how I feel
He's running extremely fast, left , right, left and then right again as he makes it near impossible for you to catch up. You sprint past the open windows, the blue night sky littered with stars entering your peripherals as you make your way to Draco. The castle was such a wonder at night, it was a shame that most students would go their whole time at the school without seeing it. The candles that lit the gothic hallways were enchanted to never go out, always keeping away the dark; which could possibly be seen as a metaphor for the magic of Hogwarts itself.
One foot after the other, robes flowing around you, (Draco was right about the dramatic effect of the wardrobe change) and the red flush on your cheeks you round the corner before you're abruptly grabbed from behind and hidden behind one of the corners of the pillars by the windows. Confused, you look up to see your boyfriend very much out of breath and very flushed.
"Draco wha-"
"Shhhh. Snape."
You carefully peered out from where the two of you were situated as you caught a glimpse of the greasy-haired man rounding the corner at the end of the hall.
"Coast is clear." You said, withdrawing from Draco's grasp.
"That was a close one. I contemplated letting you get caught." He snickered.
You lightly hit him on the chest and smiled.
"You're it."
I wanna drive you through the night, and down the hills
You ran in the opposite direction of the professor and made your way to Draco's favorite spot in the whole castle: the Astronomy tower. From there, you would be able to watch the stars encircle the balcony which showed the view of the Quidditch Stadium and everything else beyond.
Draco knew where you were heading, of course. It was where you usually ended your nightly encounters and enjoyed the company of one another, laying on each other's stomachs as you pointed out constellations in huffs and puffs.
He can't remember a time where he felt this happy. He used to think his happiness came from letters from his father, or fancy gifts from his mother. He thought the definition of love was how much you were willing to spend on the other person. Now, he realizes that love is defined by the way your eyes looked at him when you shared teas at the Three Broomsticks or the way you held his head in your hands when you kissed him in his room. It was the way you got excited over the smallest things like wearing his clothes or holding his hand. It was things like the way you sneezed or how you tied up your hair when casting spells. It was you.
I'm gonna tell you something you don't want to hear
Heading up the Astronomy tower, you made your way to the top, Draco in tow.
"Got you." He said as he wrapped you in a hug from behind, giggling as you squirmed in his arms.
"Ah you fucker."
"Hey, watch your mouth, bitchass."
The two of you laid down on the cool linoleum and assumed your positions on top of each other, taking in the warm night air. You could hear Draco's heart beating at a very fast rate due to his chaotic running and the sound soothed you. Just knowing that you had him by your side was enough for this moment to be perfect.
I'm gonna show you where it's dark, but have no fear
Tracing your finger over his Dark Mark, you called him beautiful. It was a part of himself that he had concealed from you for a long time and he finally trusted you enough to be open about it.
"How is something so destructive beautiful in your eyes?" He asked with a sad smile.
"Because it's a part of you." You replied and wound your hands through his hair, kissing him and taking in his scent of cigarettes and peppermint.

"(Y/N). I thought you got detention for sneaking off to Malfoy's room last week?" Harry asked you in Charms as he fiddled with his quill and ink. "Or did you have doubts about being in Hufflepuff?"
"Huh? What are you talking about?" You asked, giving him a quizzical look.
Harry just laughed and you followed his eyes down to your tie that was placed delicately around your neck. With the bright green and silver stripes, there was no mistaking it for anything other than that of the Slytherin house. You must've mixed up your ties when you decided to end the night in Draco's room.
"Ah shit balls." You said as you fiddled with the knot, trying to take it off.
"(Y/N)." You heard a familiar voice from behind you and Harry slowly approaching where the two of you sat at the table.
Draco looked lovely. His hair was slicked back perfectly, trousers and shirt freshly ironed, and silver rings adorning his fingers. The only thing that seemed out of place was the bright yellow tie that was much too small for him knotted hastily around his neck.
"Draco, I'm so sorry I didn't mean-"
"Wanna switch sweaters again, too?"
His response caught you by surprise as he grinned from ear to ear. He was enjoying this attention from other people as they realized you two were wearing each other's clothes.
"You guys are gonna get detention." Piped Harry from your left which just led to Draco excessively rolling his eyes and placing his hands on his hips.
"Great, we'll just fuck there too."
"Draco!"
You felt your ears get hot but hey, everyone in the whole school had to have known by this point based on your wardrobe since this morning.
You looked towards Harry, expecting some form of shock or disgust to appear on his face, making itself known with the discovery of you and Draco's free time activities. Instead, he was laughing. Really hard.
"I'll hand it to you, Malfoy. I haven't seen her look that horrified since Ron told her in our second year that he had used her toothbrush to give Scabbers a bath."
"Annoying her is my favorite activity." Sighing, your boyfriend sat down next to you, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.
Did... Did he and Harry just agree on something?
Synopsis: Draco and Y/N had been friends as children; their families were of high status, and it looked like they would spend the rest of their lives together. But all of this changed when Y/N was sorted into Gryffindor and became estranged. Worst of all, she fraternised with the enemy.

Draco knew he could never have her; his family would never allow it. Y/N was a blood traitor with her mud-blood friends and a lack of respect for her pure ancestry.
He yearned to return to the days of chasing each other through the old ornate manor, their laughter echoing through the tall chambers. They had always been close, attached at the hip. But as they grew and their parents bestowed their prejudice and hate upon them, Y/N rebelled whilst Draco conformed.
This difference acted as the catalyst for the decay of their friendship.
She had never seen the world like they did; she gazed upon muggles and their innovations in wonder and awe. Draco tried pleading with her to understand the importance of her status but to no avail. Y/N was an embarrassment to her family’s name and a stain on their bloodline. It came as no surprise to anyone when she was sorted into Gryffindor.
‘It’s better this way, Draco.' His father, Lucius, had said over an issue of The Daily Prophet one morning of his summer holidays,
‘Her family, your mother and I had been discussing an arranged marriage once you were older. It is good Y/N's true colours were revealed before we could have made that mistake.’
Draco’s heart had sunk at his father’s words. Her true colours did not matter to him; he wanted her anyway.
As Draco sat alone in a compartment of the Hogwarts Express, he thought of how his life would be different if that wretched sorting hat had placed Y/N in Slytherin. He would not have to hide his reddening cheeks when she spoke and avert his eyes as she looked his way. He would be free to love and be with her, have children and grow old with her.
It had been the longest Draco had gone without seeing her. In the last few years, domestic life had not been easy on Y/N; her parents finally kicked her out early in the summer. From what he had heard, she had stayed at the Weasley’s. He bet she had hated imposing herself on them.
That was the worst part about her being in Gryffindor; in their first year, she very quickly became friends with people Draco considered his enemies: Harry, Ron and Hermione. There were many reasons why Draco did not like these three, though he was too proud to admit that the main reason was that he was bitter; they got to be her friend, to know and love her without pressure from their families.
When he gazed out the window of the immobile train, he saw something that made his stomach contort in pain as though an unseen force was twisting his insides.
Her hands were intertwined with someone he hated more than anybody.
Harry Potter.
When had this happened? He thought they were only friends. Though the longer he watched them, the more the opposite seemed true.
They were together; Harry and Y/N were in a relationship.
As the aftershock of the pain he felt echoed hollowly in his stomach, he drew the blinds of the compartment shut; he could not bear to watch them any longer. But shutting them out had not been as easy as Draco had foreseen. Everywhere he looked, he saw her with him. In every corner of the castle, they stood, smiling at each other, holding hands and leaving small kisses on each other's cheeks. Draco saw them sit together in his classes, staring into each other's eyes in the great hall over meals. And though Draco tried not to let it bother him, he could not help but imagine himself in Harry’s place; she was supposed to be his.
It had been years since Draco could call Y/N his friend, and although he pined for her from a distance, he accepted that they were estranged. But the reality of her loving someone else rattled him to his core, and just like a spoiled child whose toy was being played with by another, he wanted her back, to snatch her from Harry’s arms and never return her.
He needed to speak with her, beg her to see reason. Surely, all those days of laughter and fun as children would amount to something; surely, she would remember the person he used to be.
He decided to speak with her after charms class; he noticed she was usually alone then, her friends heading to different lessons.
As Professor Flitwick called the end of their class, Draco watched as Y/N quickly collected her things and exited the classroom; he had to rush to put his belongings together and follow her.
But by the time he left the room, she was halfway down the grand hallway.
‘Y/N! Wait up!’ Draco could not remember the last time he spoke her name out loud; it felt strange on his tongue, as though it shocked him on its way out. She turned, skin creased between her brows, her face donning a bewildered expression. She, too, seemed shocked that he had called out for her,
‘Y/N, I need to speak with you; it’s important’ he pleaded,
With surprise still evident on her face, she opened her mouth to speak,
‘Draco, I don’t have the time, my next class is in ten…’ He grabbed her elbow and began pulling her to an empty classroom; despite her protest,
‘Draco… What are you…’ she trailed off, instead staring at him, eyebrows furrowed once more. Draco stood back and nervously scratched the nape of his neck, realising for the first time that he had no idea what he was going to say,
‘What is this about? I thought you didn’t talk to me anymore.’
Draco cringed, remembering how he had given her the cold shoulder in their first year. She had still wanted to be his friend, and he had pushed her away.
‘Look, I’ve noticed you’ve been a lot closer with Harry this year…’ Y/N's eyes sharpened, daring him to say more,
‘And?…’ she spoke carefully, with a warning; she already knew where this was headed,
‘I just think that… that,’ his words cut short; he knew he was out of line and had no right to have an opinion on the matter. He took a different route.
‘I just can’t believe you chose to be friends with him, let alone partners; you could have picked anyone in this school, and you chose him.’ His words made Y/N gasp in shock, but he continued nonetheless,
‘Did our friendship mean nothing to you? Did the fact I loved you mean nothing?’
Although Y/N looked angry, her eyes softened slightly,
‘Draco, did you ever stop for one moment and consider that this has nothing to do with you? You and I are not friends, Draco. You saw to that… I loved you once too, no, I loved a kind, sweet boy by the same name… but he died a long time ago, quelled by his very own father.’ Y/N's voice rose and trembled; Draco could see that talking about this upset her; once again, he felt the twisting pain in his chest.
‘None of this would have happened, though, if you were sorted into Slytherin…’
He continued, but Y/N interrupted,
‘But I wasn’t, was I? Don’t you see that our houses have nothing to do with this? You’re hiding behind them; you’re too scared to admit that we grew apart because you were a bad person.’ She took a deep breath,
‘Good people don’t bully and belittle first years and think people are lesser because of who their parents are. Good people don’t bully anyone; they’re kind and compassionate. And they’re selfless; not everything that they do is for themselves. And that is not who you are anymore.’
Draco could no longer see Y/N before him; she became shrouded by his tears, the truth of her words leaving him feeling winded, like blows to the stomach. Everything she had said was true. Of course it was; she had just unknowingly described herself.
Kind, compassionate, selfless.
Y/N was a good person; she was the best person in his life.
And he pushed her away because of one little difference.
As Draco stood in silence, unwilling to respond, Y/N’s frustration grew,
‘You know what? Forget I said anything; you won’t change.’ She muttered, ‘I need to get to class.’
She pushed past him to get through the door, looking back as though she were going to speak again, but decided against it. She shook her head and left.
Draco did not try to speak with her again; he knew nothing he could say would change her mind because she was right. He was a bad person, and she deserved better than him.
That is what she had with Harry Potter.
And as much as it killed him to watch, he could admit that.
Every comment and piece of advice is welcomed and appreciated <3
Could one little dance really lead to all this?

He didn't know what it was. What changed his mind about you so suddenly. He hated you. He always had. You were in his rival house and you were such an idiot. Inexplicably and unashamedly yourself. It was annoying and zealous. And suddenly, it didn't matter. Had he been wrong about his hatred for you? Was it really his subconscious masking feelings for you out of insecurity? No, surely not. He was imagining things. Still, he couldn't deny the way his chest ached the second his eyes landed on you. It was the Yule Ball, so of course everyone was in formal wear. You included. You looked.. Handsome? Pretty? He couldn't place the right term in his head. But he did know you looked incredible all dressed up like that.
His eyes shamelessly trail over your figure from his spot not so far away. Then his eyes landed on your date; Anthony Goldstein. Jealousy instantly flared within him. Why? He didn't know. He had a date himself. And it wasn't as if he wanted to accompany you to the ball to begin with. He'd taken Pansy. Still, his attention was far from her. The first dance of the night was great. You and Anthony had fun. But there after wasn't as great. Once the first dance got over he ditched you. At first you tried to go dance and hangout with friends, but they all seemed to preoccupied with their own dates and selves.
Which landed you where you are now. Alone and lingering at the refreshment table. The night had barely started, and you already felt like going back to your dorm. At least your bed couldn't ditch you. While you stood there, contemplating your next course of action, a voice drew you from your thoughts. "Well well well" You look up, only to be met with a smug smirk. It was no other than Draco Malfoy. "Who knew you were capable of looking halfway decent. Has hell frozen over?" You roll your eyes at his comment. "Is that what you call a compliment? I feel bad for your date" He scoffs dryly. "Please, Pansy? Don't get me started on her" He takes a step closer to you, earning a look of suspension from you.
"Okay," You put your hands up and take a small step back. "What're you playing at here Malfoy?" He rolled his eyes at your question. Though, you asking it was justified. He was normally horrible to you. "I'm capable of being civil, you know" Before you can respond with something snide, he holds out his hand and continues. "Look, humor me. One dance. That's all I'm asking for." You recoil in surprise. Did he really just say that? Your eyes flicker between his face and extended hand in mild horror. After a moment of hesitation you place your hand in his. His usual smug grin formed. Wasting no more time, he pulled you out on to the floor. When he starts dancing with you, you're not short if stiff and apprehensive.
Though, you do loosen up soon after. You were surprisingly having fun. And Draco wasn't being a total drag either. The music was easy to move along to, energetic and loud. Feeling a bit bolder after a song or two, you grind yourself back against him. A small bit of revenge for his bullying couldn't hurt. His eyes went as wide as pies and he went stiff. You let out a bark of laughter at his reaction. "What's that look for? Never been-" You cut yourself off with a small yelp as he suddenly grabbed your hand and dragged you through the hall towards the exit. "Woah, hey! What're you doing?!" He ignored any and all protests that left your mouth. The two of you got plenty of foul looks from other students.
Given, he was just shoving through people with a dirty look on his face. You tried to apologize to all the people he was pushing around since he was pulling you along with him, but none of them seemed to be able to hear you over the loud music. Or care, for that matter. Soon enough he had you two out in the mostly deserted corridor. Having enough of whatever he was doing, you yanked your hand from his. "Okay, what the hell! What do you think you're doing?!" He scoffs with a look of offense crossing his features. "Me?! You were the one rubbing your arse all over me!" He threw his arms up in exasperated as if to add emphasis to his defense.
"So what?! You wanted to bloody, dance! That's what I was doing! And anyway, that doesn't explain why you brought me out here!" You huff in irritation. His face twitches and he doesn't give you a verbal response. Okay sure, maybe what you did was a little out of line. But it wasn't like a Professor had seen you do it! "Well?" You press on. He glares at the wall, shifting his weight. Your gaze trails down his body. You freeze upon seeing the rather prominent bulge in his trousers. "Oh.." He rolls his eyes with a small scoff. "Yeah. Oh." His tone is nothing short of sardonic. In turn, you shift. It definitely wasn't because you were uncomfortable. Turned on more like it.
He grumbles, feeling completely ridiculous at the awkward air between you that he caused. "Listen, I-" You cut yourself off. His gaze snaps up to you and he sneers. "No, say it." You exhale heavily. "There's a lavatory down the corridor. It's out of order right now, so nobody will be in there" His eyebrows raise at your implication. You mentally slap yourself. What were you thinking? Of course he wouldn't want to do that with you. He hated you. He couldn't control his body's reactions. Just as you open your mouth to voice an apology, his hand is on yours again. He's suddenly pulling you as quickly as he could muster throughout the corridors. You stumble a bit, doing your best to keep up.
In a few short moments you end up in that out of order lavatory you had mentioned. By now he was practically trembling in anticipation. His length throbbed painfully hard in his trousers, begging to be freed. He shoved you into a stall in which you stumbled again and ended up falling back to sit on the toilet. Within an instant, he's in the stall with you and slamming the door shut. Once he's locked the door, he turns back around to face you. You look up at him in surprised and red faced. You exhale softly, putting both hands up again. "Listen, first off, don't toss me around like that. Second, calm the hell down" He sneers at you. "Whatever, not my fault you tripped over your own feet"
He bites his tongue and bristled slightly. He knew you well, if he really wanted this then he'd have to swallow at least a little pride. "Look, I'm sorry. Alright? I didn't mean to- To-" He growls in frustration. He didn't like this, nor was he good at it. When he attempts to continue his jumbled apology, he's cut off by your lips slamming into his. He's quick to return the kiss, his hands flying to your waist. With a few small steps, he presses you up against the wall. His tongue explores your mouth hungrily and he presses his body to yours. He pulls away just enough to mutter into your ear: "Are you sure about this?" His voice was low, and laced with desire. "I am" You whisper back. "Then turn around and face the wall."
Slowly, you did as he told. Wasting no time, he shoved his trousers and briefs down. He let out a small breath of relief at no longer being restrained by the fabric. Next, he pulled what you were wearing away. He pressed himself to you and let out a small gasp. You pressed your hands and chest to the wall for any semblance of support. His hands came to hold your hips as he slowly pushed into you, a shuddering exhale leaving him as he did. You took in a sharp breath, your fingers curling against the wall. He whined once he was mostly inside you. At first he tried to remain at a steady pace. But it did prove to be hard. Your breathing had become labored and more like gasps.
He started to move his hips in a quicker pace, his whining growing lower and more frequent. Though you couldn't see it, he'd thrown his head back and squeezed his eyes tightly shut. His grip tightens on your hips slightly, yet it wasn't at all painful. You hadn't expected him to be so needy. You certainly weren't complaining though. He muttered something incoherent as his hips began to stutter. A long groan left him, and he then began to slowly come to a stop. He presses his forehead to your shoulder and places his hands on the wall the by each of your sides. With a grunt, he pulled out after a moment. His legs felt weak, and he could feel himself trembling.
"You're bloody incredible, you know that?"
(First off, is your pfp Scara Screams from Monster High? LOVE that) also, I think you’re an incredible writer!! Could I request a one shot where Draco proposes to reader in a private setting? Thanks!! <3
It is! I'm so glad somebody caught that 😭 And thank you so much! Hope this captures your vision \(^^)/
Draco has been acting strange lately. Find out why.

Being with Draco over the last handful of years had its ups and downs. One of those ups was that you'd gotten to know the version of him that was masked behind pride and heartache during your years at school together. One of those downs, on the other hand, was that he could be secretive at times. You didn't hold it against him, not by any means. You knew by now that he was traumatized. So you tried hard not to hold it against him. But at times, it got hard not to assume the worst when he got like that. Avoidant and skiddish. Always on edge and suspicious of everything. He'd been in one of these episodes for a few weeks now.
Of course you'd attempted to talk to him, give any sort of comfort. To no avail, unfortunately. He'd sort of just push you away or say he was fine. Like that was on any level believable. There was a few things that he did that stood out more than others. He'd gone to Diagon Alley without you. Which, would be fine. He's allowed to go places without you. What was odd about it was that he didn't tell you that he was going. And didn't tell you why he went either. But, you let it go. Verbally. He doesn't have to tell you every little thing. Your house elf told you after that interaction that he had taken out a generous amount of money from his vault. That was odd too. Normally he told you when he did stuff like that.
He'd also been staring at your left hand a lot. That bit wasn't all the odd, and maybe you were just overing thinking it. But given his behavior as of late, who could blame you? He'd been hauled up in his study a lot too. From the sounds of it, not doing anything in particularly. The two of you had been living together for some time now, and he often worked in his study. If he wasn't with you, at the Ministry, or dealing with family affairs, then he was in his study. At some point during this episode of his, you'd walked into his study without knocking. He was sat as his desk and looking at something between his fingers rather intensely. Though the second you walked in he panicked and shoved whatever it was he was looking at into a drawer. So you didn't get a look at what he was holding.
As of right now, the two of you were at the manor. He was hosting this huge annual spring party for the Ministry. It was late. Draco had been socializing and putting on his aristocrat face for the whole party. It was late, and you were ready for him to just go back to normal already. No more upper class fake-face, no more paranoia. Just.. Him. Draco. The love of your life. After a tiring conversation with some older woman, you decided you needed some fresh air. You politely excused yourself and awkwardly shuffled about the crowded manor out to the terrace-landing that overlooked the gardens. You let out a heavy sigh and places you hands on the railing. Was this ever going to end? Between this draining party and Draco.. You could feel your own mental state beginning to deteriorate.
You stare out at the gardens. They were beautiful. Large and illuminated by all the lanterns scattered throughout them. That combined with the stary sky made a sight to beheld. Draco, who had seen you going outside quickly felt worry. He politely, but hurriedly excused himself from the conversation he was having and darted outside. He spotted you on the landing at the foot of the staircase he stood before. He did a quick check for something in the pocket of his trousers. After confirming whatever it was hadn't fallen from his pocket, he silently descended the stairs to the terrace-landing. Before a moment of hesitation, he placed a hand on your waist.
You took in a sharp inhale and placed a hand over your heart as your head snapped to the side to look at him with wide eyes. "Oh Merlin Draco.." You exhale, relaxing upon realizing it was only him. Your reaction had surprised him, and he gently rubs your side once you calm. "Sorry love, didn't mean to give you such a fright" You sigh softly and shake your head lightly. "No, it's alright. I was just.. Spaced out I guess" He studies you for a moment before nodding. There's a small period of silence between the two of you as you both look over the garden. You take a glance at his still hand on your waist and smile faintly. Maybe your wishes were coming true.
Just as you go to rest your head on his shoulder, he breaks the silence. "Fancy a walk?" You pause and think over his offer before nodding. "Yes, a walk sounds nice" And with that, he locks arms with you. You walk in pace with him down the stairs and through the gardens. There wasn't anymore words exchanged during this walk. Only thoughts that you both kept to yourself. For the most part, you had spaced out. Draco on the other hand, was panicking inside. All of his strange behavior over the last three weeks had lead up to this very moment. Was it going to be wonderful like in books? Or every possible horrid outcome he'd been imagining? He didn't know, but if he fell through, he would soon.
The two of you reach the grand foundation that sat in the middle of the gardens. It was beautiful and huge, splaying out pretty streams of clean water. Under the glow of the moonlight, the water seemed to be liquid crystal. He walked you around to the far side of the fountain, hiding you from any possible eyes by the manor. He suddenly stopped and unlinked his arm from yours. You gave him a puzzled look as he stood directly in font of you and took your hands in his own. "Do you trust me?" He questions, only confusing you more. "What? What kind of question is that? Yes, of course I trust you" He gives a firm nod at your response, "Close your eyes for me. Don't ask me why or refuse, just do it. Okay?"
Every single one of your senses was telling you to do the opposite of what he just told you to do. Despite yourself, you comply anyway. With a small huff, you close your eyes. His hands slowly pull away from yours. You try to make out what he's doing by sound, but anything he does is masked by the running water beside you. He takes in a deep breath. "Okay.. Open them" A gasp leaves you the second your eyes land on him. He's down on one knee, holding out a ring box. "Y/N," He opens the box, revealing a very pretty silver ring with a heart shaped emerald on it. "Will you marry me?" Your eyes, wide as they could get started to well with tears. You place one hand over your mouth, hiding how agape it was.
He couldn't read your reaction very well, and his facial expression changes slightly. A large smile then begins to form on your lips and you nod. "Really?" He asks in disbelief, a smile of his own threatening to come out. "Yes" You gasp out, tears beginning to fall. Instantly, he springs to his feet and pulls you into a tight hug. He lifts your feet of the ground and spins, earning a squeal from him. This was probably the happiest you'd ever seen him. Slowly, he stopped spinning and the two of you stare into each other's eyes. His grey ones are soft, holding a tender gaze. They flutter shut as he presses a kiss to your lips, gently setting you down as he does. Slowly, he drops down to one knee again and takes your left hand in his.
And with that, he slips the ring upon your finger.
The Yule Ball has rolled around and Draco wants you to be his date!
A/N: I feel like a little fluff is needed after my last post, so here it is.
Enjoy!

He couldn't help the way you stood out. Or how he could pin point your voice in a loud room. Or the way your eyes met across the room. In passing, in the halls and during meals. There had to be something wrong with him. Maybe you were one with the problem. You weren't even his type, right? He couldn't tell anymore. He'd never even paid you any particular mind until the ball got announced to the student body. Instantly his eyes went to you. Apparently you thought the same way, because when he looked up, your eyes locked. For a split second, it was like everything else just faded out. And all there was left was you. In all your beautiful glory. He was so entranced that he hadn't hear the bell ring, or register the fact that you were packing up your things. It only clicked when you got up and walked out of the classroom. Quickly, he sprung to his feet and scrambled to shove all of his own things into his bag.
He darted out of the classroom and snapped his head to either side, trying to make you out in the flood of students in the corridor. Luckily, you weren't too far away. He spotted you walking with two of your fellow housemates: Pansy and Daphne. He shoves his way through the sea of students, paying no mind to be polite or avoid any non-rough physical contact. It didn't take long for him to catch up the group of girls. He silently began to walk along side Pansy. who was on your left. The topic of the conversation you three, now four, was the ball. "So Y/N," Pansy starts with a somewhat condescending smile "Have you gotten a date?" A sigh of resignation left you as you shook your head. "Not yet, unfortunately. I'm hoping to get asked soon. What about you?" You return the question, shooting Pansy a curious glance. She falters momentarily, not having expected you to quip that back at her.
Though, she recovers quickly with a proud smirk. "No," She gives Draco a smug glance "Though, I'm sure a certain somebody is just wait for the right time. Sentimentals and such" A sneer of disgust falls over Draco's features and he rolls his eyes. "Charmed, Parkinson" He drawls in a sardonic tone. You, on the other hand, hadn't seen his expression and read the interaction between the two completely wrong. A tepid smile formed on your lips and you gave Pansy a nod. A few seconds later, Daphne pipes up about her date with Goyle, and seemed rather happy about it. The conversation continued between the two girls with an occasional remark from Draco. You, however, remained silent. Person by person, you all split up to go to your different classes.
Which, ended up with you by yourself. Or so you thought. Draco then spoke up when it was just the two of you left. "Oi Y/L/N, hold on a minute" He says just as you're about to enter your class. You stop and turn your head to look at him, mild surprise on your features. "Uhm- What's up Malfoy?" You question back as you turned your whole body to face him as well. He hesitates and you quirk an eyebrow at him. A huff of frustration left him and he sneered lightly at himself. "Look, just- Just meet me in the common room after dinner alright?" He snaps before storming off. That left you more confused, but you just brush it off and head into class.
The next couple of classes after that, you had all with Draco. In each and every one you kept catching him looking at you. Staring or shooting a quick glance your way. And every time your eyes met his, he'd let out a bothered scoff and instantly look away. Like you'd done something wrong. Which was odd, but you decided against saying anything to him. Then again during dinner. Except he seemed more irritable now. Giving anyone, especially if it were a guy, the coldest death glare you'd ever seen if they spoke to you. Finally, dinner was over, and now dessert was being served. Though, instead of staying for it like you usually did, you got up and left. The way Draco had been looking at your housemates somewhat irked you the wrong way. And he did say to meet him after dinner. Maybe you were taking that bit a little too literally.
Of course, Draco noticed the second you got up. After a few moments, he followed. You were completely unaware of this fact and ended up going to your dorm room to change out of you school robes into something more comfortable. So, it's a bit if a surprise for you when you come back down to the lounge area to see him sitting there waiting for you. The moment you come into his field of vision he sprung to his feet. And very awkwardly cleared his throat. "You wanted to talk to me Malfoy?" As you speak his eyes flicker around the room to double check the two of you were alone. And you were. He gives a small yet firm nod. "Yeah. I did. I wanted to ask you something." Your eyebrows raise slightly. "Oh? Okay, by all means. Shoot" He hesitates, the same way he did in the afternoon. He balls up his fists and puffs out a breath in frustration. This really shouldn't be all that hard for him. But it is. It really is.
After a deep breath, he manages to pull himself together enough to speak. "Will you be my date to the ball, Y/N?" That wasn't at all what you were expecting. Was he serious? Your eyes widen enough to practically pop out of socket. You choke on any words that threaten yo leave your throat. Heat had very quickly and very prominently rose to your cheeks. Bright red like a ripe tomato. "I-I.. Are you serious?" He didn't like that response. Not by a long shot. A look of offense and anger contorted his features and yet another scoff came from his parted lips. "What? Yes I'm bloody serious! What kind of twat do you take me for?" That wasn't a very good reaction. Panic set in and you threw your hands up in surrender. "No no! That's not what I meant! I was just- Surprised! Is all, but yes! Yes I'll be your date, I'd love.. to be your date"
He rolls he eyes and mutters out what sounded like a 'good'. You both stand there a bit awkwardly for a while before he speaks up again. "The night of the ball, meet me at the bottom of the staircase to the dorms. Got it?" You nod, but as you do, he's already storming off. The last bits if disbelief finally wear off and a huge grin spread across your lips. Draco Malfoy, the boy to get, just asked you to be your date! You squeal happily and jump up and down a few times. This was incredible!
The night of the ball arrived faster than anticipated. To say your nerves were fried would be a vast understatement. You'd gotten the most gorgeous dress from one of the shops in Hogesmead that you could find. Though now, standing in front of the mirror with it on felt insulting. What if Draco didn't like it? Or if the color was ugly to everyone else? A million anxieties ran through your mind all at once. Still, it was too late back out now. With a deep breath and a slightly heavy heart, you left your dorm room. Your walk to the main area of the common room was that of a deserted one. There wasn't a single other person around. Probably because they were all the ball already. When you reach the stop of the staircase, Draco's there standing at the bottom of it. Looking rather impatient, actually. That was until he saw you at the top of the stairs. All of that irritation instantly faded.
His grey eyes widen and his jaw slightly slack. A small smile formed on your face. You took your time going down the staircase. Half from fear of how stable your heels were, half wanting to give him a little show. That same awe-struck look remained on his face, his eyes not leaving you once as you came down. "So, how do I look?" You broke the silence as he took your hand to held you down the last few steps. It took him a few seconds to register what you said. He awkwardly cleared his throat, pulling his hand from yours. "Beautiful. Stunning, really" You nod, your smile only growing. "You too. I mean- Handsome. Yeah. Sorry" He scoffs softly, shaking his head with a little smirk. "Right. Let's go now, yeah? Before we're late"
"Oh! Right, yeah" And with that he held out his arm for you to link with your own. Which, you did. The walk to the Great Hall was mostly silent. Just like in class a few days ago, he kept stealing glances at you. Though his eyes weren't sharp. They were softer than last time. As if he were admiring you. And he was. When you two arrived at the hall, it was packed. It was unbelievably beautiful. You look at Draco with a wide smile and squeeze his arm excitedly. Meanwhile, he's trying to act unimpressed. Per usual. After the competitors have their special dance everyone started to join in. You and Draco included. He gives you a teasing eyebrow raise as he lifts you up and spins you. He was a good dancer. You? You weren't bad, but he definitely had a lot pratice. The waltz was fun, and romantic almost. The way he looked at you was the best part.
With a wide smile and adoring eyes. As adoring as they got when it came to him, anyway. When the first dance was said and done, the music was then taken over by a band. A happy squeal left you as the more energetic music started and you take Draco's hand while you dance. This initially shocked him, but it wore off as quickly as it came. He started to dance with you and a few of your friends and/or housemates. The two of you were inseparable for most of the night. There was a few exceptions of course, like then Pansy dragged you off to the lavatory with her, or when he went off to prank some kids from other houses with Crabbe and Goyle. Though, eventually the night have to come to an end. Come the last song of the ball, there was hardly any kids left in the Great Hall. The final song was a slow one. And of course, you'd dragged Draco back out to the floor for it.
He complained that he was tired, but put up no real fight other than that. His hands went to your hips, and your arms encircle his neck. A slow dance for a slow song. The two of you gently sway together, just staring at each other. "Hi." You say in a softer voice with a smile, a hint of a giggle escaping your throat. He quirked an eyebrow, "Hi?" He repeats in a mocking tone. "Yeah. Hi" You grin. He rolls his eyes at you. You two make some small talk about nothing in particular throughout the song. Until it ends, and the two of you stop. When you go to pull away, he doesn't let go. You furrow your brows at him, to which he responds: "Happy Christmas, Y/N."
And with that, he kissed you.
