broken stars chapter 1 part 2
Dust thought he was seeing things till Ink spoke up.” You have both of your eyes… t-that is going against your cannon…” He said as he let Horror’s face go. Horror looked down at his hands a bit as he opened and closed them, he was in awe with the fact he could see before he smirked and stood up. “Ho-” Dust was cut off as Horror quickly spun around, his eye lights shining his old signature blue and yellow as his hand glowed with blue magic, with a wave of his hand a gaster blaster formed, but it looked unstable as it got ready for a blast. It sounded as if it was a low growl instead of the signature lazer sound. Hearing this Shift sighed as he avoided Killer and Blue. “Now that’s no fun!” He said with a pout as the blaster finally let out the blast, Shift just stood there, rolled his eyes as he held up a pocket watch. “Pause.” He said as she clocked the dial on the watch, as soon as he did everything went gray and the only soft ticking sound of a clock rang out. “Always having to pull out the blasters…” He said as he moved to the side as he crossed his arms behind his back to look at everyone. He examined the five without touching them but with a sigh he leaned against Horror’s back as he crossed his arms over his chest. “I wonder… how the other two are doing..” He mumbled a bit with a bored look on his skull only to have his sockets widen when he senses something, quickly he hopped up onto horror’s back and looked around, expecting Ink to have broken free. but when blue thread shot out from a portal and grabbed onto his soul he was soon yanked off of Horror’s back and slammed into the ground. Groaning Shift looked up with a smirk on his skull. Error was sitting on some strings that held him up as he had some chocolate in his mouth. “So… you’re the anomaly that is giving Ink some trouble.” He said with a glare.
Broken stars chapter 1 part 1
Shift tilted his skull at the others as they got ready to fight him, he scanned the fice for a moment and pointed at them “eenie.” He pointed at blue making him stiffen up. “Meenie” then moved on to point at Horror and Ink making them grit their teeth. “Miney” He pointed to Killer who brought his arms up, ready for an attack as well when Shift pointed at dust who was already in a defensive position Shift grinned at him. “You!” He said in a deep voice as he Blinked out of existence, making the group panic slightly before Shift blinked back into existence, his hand reaching for Dust’s face, making him freeze. ‘How is he so fast with short cuts!?’ He thought as an ax made of bone got in between the two, making Dust shake his head as Killer and Horror stood protectively in front of Dust but ecto started to slowly form on their skulls as Shift just tilted his head at them, a fanged grin on his skull. “Seems like I can’t play with you just yet Dusty.” Shift said as He looked at Horror. “I guess you will be the one I play with.” He said as he lunged at Horror. Horror’s eye widened as he brought his arm up to swat Shift away, but he was too slow when Shift grabbed his head, Horror growled as he tried to throw him off but soon ticking filled his head as he managed to yank Shift off and throw him to the side. Shift landed easily on the ground only to jump away as Killer and Blue attacked him, doing their best to get the skeleton away from them while Dust and Ink checked on horror. They tried to get him to look at them but Horror kept his back to them as he dropped to his knees. “Come on buddy.. Speak to me.” Dust said as he gripped Horror’s shoulder and made him turn to face him. But what he saw made Dust and Ink’s eyelights widen as Ink took a step back from him. Horror was looking at them with panic in his eye lights as they backed away from him “I-I can see…” He said with a shaky tone to his voice as Horror went to tug at his eye socket out of habit but was stopped by Dust. “Don’t touch it, we don’t know if that is really your eye or not.” He said as Ink shook himself and jogged over to them, after putting broomie onto his back he took Horror’s face into his hands and turned his face to the left and right to examine his eye.

I mentioned this in another post, but the nickname 'Cap' comes from Dust’s chronic drinking habit. So, 'Cap' as in bottle cap, because he’s always glued to a bottle.

Further Explanation:
1. Selectively Mute: Murder is mute. Given his circumstances, it makes sense. He has taken to using sign language instead to explain his thought process.
2. Schizophrenic: According to Murder's creator, Papyrus's "ghost" is not actually the real Papyrus but a figment of Murders imagination, so he has schizophrenia.
3. Chronic Fatigue: Murder suffers from chronic fatigue as a result of overusing his magic in order to be stronger, resulting in him having issues.
4. Attachment Issues: After Dream starts to visit him, Murder develops an attachment to him as Dream is the only other person he's interacted with since Phantom. He believes Dream is a "god" who has given him another chance.
5. Semi-healthy Coping methods: With the help of Dream, Dust has a healthier outlit for his emotions, crocheting. Dust still intentionally drinks himself with the needle.
Dusttale was one of the first AUs I discovered, so it’s really special for me, because it kind of opened the door to the immense multiverse I knew nothing about... I’m a hopeless fan now, but i got no regrets
(Maybe one day i will add some of the other stuff i wanted to put like bones/blasters/papyrus or a proper background but for now.. well i like it this way xD)
