Summary: After they helped Hope the welcome fairy finding the teddy bear and sent back to the human realm,Miles thinks it's his fault.

Miles stood at the front door.He knew his mother would ask where he had been because he missed tea time.He knew he could lie saying that he was playing and lost track of time or lost his way home.But on the inside,he felt like he should just tell her the truth.

He felt as if it was his fault they got captured by trolls and got almost eaten by them.Maybe it would've been better if he just stayed out of the way.The sunflower necklace was next,so he could stay out of the way until they found the last one.

Miles took a deep breath and opened the door.Tea was left for him.It was cold.

"Miles!",said a voice.It was his mum. "Where have you been? I've been worried sick...! Are you okay?"

Miles tried to hold in tears,but he couldn't.It was falling out of him already.

"Oh, mama,",he said through tears. "I'm so sorry."

He ran to his mother to hug him.Tears were on his mum's cardigan.

"Oh,Miles,"said his mother rubbing his back. "It's not your fault."

"No! It really is!",he cried. "All I just wanted was for you to get better! I didn't mean to make you frightened!",his mouth wanted to say it.He was going to tell the secret he promised to never tell. "You see,I-"

His mother stopped him.She put a finger to his mouth. "Shhhh...."

Miles was saved by the bell.If she didn't shush him,he would likely be called the traitor in fairyland.Inside,he gave out a sigh of relief.

"I know it was an accident.", said his mother. "And I know you didn't mean it."

She wiped his tears away. "Now do you want your tea? I'll microwave it for you."
