Ellen and Pam have a secret relationship. Ellen is not allowed to be openly gay because of her job. She is a NASA hero.
Ellen gets into a lavender marriage with a friend.
Ellen wants to come out for Pam but it would be the end of her career. Pam breaks up with her by letter.
Years later Ellens' husband tells her about the lies in the letter: "She knew it was her or your career. You couldn't have both." Ellen confronts Pam with the letter.
They have a happy ending. 🌈
