anyway now that I’m back on my bullshit again, it’s time for some doppelgänger/Grim Alex playdate, which is to say IT’S FINE SHE’S FINE THEY DO THIS ALL THE TIME THEY’RE HAVING FUN. The clone feeds on ~experiences~ and doesn’t truly feel pain, see it’s alright. Also, reminder that all my sauce content now lives on twitter @bluemeats. I also post way more often there. Go git it

Trying to figure out how this void clone business works. She’ll be fine 
In no way did this NEED to be this blatantly indulgent but here we are. Diagrams are boring, okay. 
Uhh what else. The clone feels something like pain but not quite, and the complete lack of a self preservation instinct means the “you are damaged” signal isn’t necessarily bad or scary. It’s just a stimulus to react plausibly to things and sell the effect. 
The original feels an echo of whatever the clone feels, physically or emotionally. Just an extension of the shared consciousness that lets Emily Prime see through the doppelgänger’s eyes
