So I put it upon myself to make my tritype (wings included) out of the songs in a playlist. So feel free to have fun with this and make your own tritype playlist if you want.
Thank you! I appreciate the response and this will definitely be useful!
May you please list the enneagram numbers that matches the most with each respected MBTI type? For example; is 4, 6. or 9 the strongest correlation to an INFP? I really would like to know which combinations enhances the MBTI types' preexisting functions the most.
Based on basic fears and how each Enneagram type acts to compensate, I’d guess these are likely frequent combinations (most likely first in the list):
Two: fear of being unwanted, unworthy of love (ESFJ, ISFJ, ENFJ)
Three: fear of being worthless (STP, ENTP, ENTJ, ESTJ)
Four: fear of having no identity or personal significance (NFP, SFP)
Five: fear of being helpless, useless, incapable (INTJ, INTP, ISTJ, INFJ)
Six: fear of being unable to survive on their own, without support (INFP, ISXJ)
Seven: fear of pain and deprivation (ENFP, ENTP, ESTP, ESFP, ISFP)
Eight: fear of being harmed or controlled by others (SFP, STP, ENTJ, ENTP)
Nine: fear of becoming lost/ separated from self and others (ENFJ, ESFJ, INFP)
One: fear of becoming corrupt, evil, and defective (INFJ, NFP, STJ)
- ENFP Mod
I love astrology, but sometimes it gets to personal and I escape to typology because it’s more relatable and less biased.
ya know it’s true, don’t even try to deny it
eventually I’m gonna make a post with examples of every SG character acting like their MBTI type and none of you are going to know what the fuck I’m talking about
re: prev post, I’m actually on the ‘sang-woo is an ENTJ’ side of the discussion on that and I’m not 100% sold on in-ho as an INTJ, I could see ISTJ just as much
squid game actually doesn’t have a load of horrendous mistypes on PDB which is nice, with the exception of hyun-ju being voted as an enneagram 4 which is literally always applied to trans people purely for being trans. actually come to think of it I also don’t buy the case for her being an ISFP, she’s definitely an ENFJ which I think has the vote rn
Hello there!
I'm curious about those four personality classifications in your bio after the mbti and enneagram 🧐 what kind of tests are they? Also yay a fellow leo!! 🦁
Hiya!
1-3-5 is Tritype, sx/sp is Instinctual Varient, ILI is Socionics, IT(N) is Classic Jungian!
Hope this helped ::3
Here’s a quote from a LocalScriptMan video that summarizes why the “Annabel is a Type Six because she seeks out allies” argument is simply not it for me:
“You can tell Six leaders apart from non-Six leaders because Six leaders believe their own propaganda. When they say ‘we have to destroy the whatever’, they mean that shit. They believe in that cause. With an Eight leader or a Three leader, you never know if it’s a psyop, but Sixes? They believe in the thing 100%.” —Writing with the Enneagram: Type Six, LocalScriptMan
It’s a psyop. It’s literally a psyop. She does not believe in her group’s cause and is literally lying to all of them💀
I’m making this as a response to the outrageous fact that users on Personality Database have typed Annabel Lee as an Enneagram Type Six, which ????
I am a Type Six. Annabel Lee is absolutely not.
This is copied from the comment I just posted on there, so don’t worry: I am only plagiarizing myself.
In a situation that is, effectively, a social game, the first consequential decision that Annabel Lee makes is in Episode 9. After Ada has offered herself, as well as a handpicked group of other students, as an ally willing to follow Annabel’s leadership, Ada must clarify one thing before their alliance is solidified—that Annabel Lee is exactly who Ada wants and expects her to be.
Ada is banking on this; within the first two days, she’s gone the mile of sucking up to Annabel Lee, making enemies with Lenore and her friends to “[sort] the wheat from the chaff”, and gathering allies for Annabel’s approval. This is because Ada has clocked Annabel as a social magnet, someone who carries the mark of a leader, and someone with power (because of her class demonstration as the ‘Lady in White’)—hell, she compares Annabel to a queen in their first conversation.
So, when Ada asks Annabel, “[that odd girl Lenore] seems to think that she’s your…friend. Is she?” It is a test to confirm that her expectations are correct: that an elegant, socially powerful young woman like Annabel would not associate herself with losers or ‘class clowns’, so to speak, and, as such, is capable of carrying Ada to the finish line of the game they’ve been forced to play.
Annabel Lee has two options: she can break Ada’s expectations or she can conform to them. Ultimately, Annabel Lee chooses to defend herself by relying on the E3’s particular defense mechanism, which is identification. We see Annabel walk through the academy halls observing and responding to a social environment that seems to favor and admire her, with Ada talking in her ear about how “posh” she is, or how much she’s like a queen, and that she and Ada are “the same sort of person.”
It’s clear, to Annabel, what people want from her, and because she is not like Lenore, who would almost certainly reject any kind of unwanted conformity, and because Annabel has learned that survival means living on the expectations of others, she does exactly that: “…Mn. No. The poor darling. I don’t know what I did to give her that impression.”
A quote from ‘The Complete Enneagram’ by Beatrice Chestnut, which explains identification:
“Naranjo explains that ‘central to type Three is identification with an ideal self-image built as a response to the expectation of others,’ which often starts with the defensive effort to match ideal characteristics their parents valued. Threes defensively transform themselves into what important others—people in their environment whom they want to impress—admire and appreciate. By noticing and adopting characteristics that others regard as valuable, Threes seek to match an external model to assure approval.” — The Complete Enneagram, Beatrice Chestnut
And Annabel commits to this. She does it over and over again, to the point of gaining ire from Lenore herself, on many occasions. Annabel’s reliance on this defense mechanism, and the manipulations and cruelty that result from attempting to maintain a particular image and “win” the social game, is at the CRUX of their relationship conflict.
It is extremely Type Three-coded, which is why I’m baffled that anyone would ever call her a Type Six, as a Type Six myself.
…and that’s all folks. Maybe next week I’ll talk about the outrageous typing of Will as a Type Two when he is a TYPE NINE. Come ON people, what are we doing here
So I'm rereading sctir after dropping the novel around ch.320 a while back. During that time, I read into personality typing, which had already fascinated me. I even did an analysis of Yoojin and Sung Hyunjae's relationship in 2024 (read here) based on the enneagram.
I got Hyunjae spot on. He's so perfectly enneagram type 7 it feels stereotypical. But, I won't lie, my Yoojin analysis was iffy... so I'm striking it from the record! If you read that, no you didn't.
I'm more familiar with the enneagram now, and I already have new thoughts after ch.2 of the webtoon lmao
I may write a revised Yoojin analysis... we'll see.
Spoilers up to chap 303 of tsctir
When you're on your Enneagram bs & realize that Sung Hyunjae is self-pres/sexual 7 & Han Yoojin is self-pres/sexual 2.
...the fact that they both prioritize self-pres instinct while wielding the sexual instinct second would explain some of the odd chemistry in their semi-transactional relationship. They both are, or at least were, using their growing connection with the other as a tool to satisfy their own needs, and both of them see this as reasonable and fair because they know the other is doing the same thing.
Hyunjae only rejects the chemistry between them when his dominant instinct is threatened... needing to risk his arm to help everyone get out of the Japanese dungeon bcuz of whatever funky stuff Yoojin's got going on. He literally says to Song Taewon, after running away from Yoojin, in ch.296:
“No matter how much I like him, I come first. He’s mine to the end, and while he’s something I treasure, the one I value is myself.”
No wonder dude spirals out of control until he's literally contemplating wiping Yoojin off the face of the planet. he's a pleasure-seeking sp7 that ensures the satisfaction of his needs by building interpersonal alliances, & the passionate, dreamy energy of his sx7 instinct serves that end. if the focus of his current passion is abt to risk his survival, if he's gonna have to start making actual sacrifices, then it makes sense that he'd think abt cutting his losses. but... he doesn't want to kill him. cuz he liiiikes him. so he just ghosts him lol
& Yoojin's reaction to it is so freaking funny dude. he's like a crazy ex Hyunjae broke up with over text. & that makes sense, too, bcuz he's beginning to actually care about Sung Hyunjae in a non-transactional way, so Hyunjae just up and ghosting has to absolutely trigger the 2's fear of being unloved and abandoned, like it did when he thought Yoohyun abandoned him pre-regression. and because 2's are hiding insecurity and entitlement for love & attention behind a veneer of altruism, which wells into anger & resentment if they don't get the love that they're due, Yoojin literally threatens to blow up his house if he doesn't respond to him. and does, like, a 24 hour death countdown before barging into Sung Hyunjae's house when he STILL hadn't responded to his texts lololol
Ooh, these are so fun! Thanks for tagging @witchyafterdark!

So, to put them all together: According to these tests, I'm a versatile individual with a strong sense of adventure and a passion for creativity!
Personality labels have been on my mind today because I think they are really fun and interesting when it comes to self-perception and awareness. Of course, with all of them, here’s a disclaimer that it is not set in stone! But we're here to have fun, so screw that right now lol. Each label has a link to a quiz if you don’t know! I’ve decided to share some of the stuff I learned about the childhood experience of all Enneagram types, and how this experience shapes us into a certain type. All this is based on some of my observations and studies plus backed up with some info from the books: Personality Types: Using the Enneagram for Self-Discovery by Don Richard Riso & Russ Hudon and The Enneagram Guide to Waking Up by Beatrice Chestnut.
And do keep in mind that it’s just a general pattern and observation - while it’s a lot more common for a certain type to have such a childhood experince, nothing is set in stone.

INTJ:
1-INTJs can't be ones cause Si-less (Si=1)
2-INTJs can't be 2s because everyone knows INTJs don't feel emotions 🤓🤓
3-nooooo Ni doms can't be 3s they cannot possibly properly socialize with other homo sapiens
4-Too much Te (4s can only be IxFPs)(4s love to cry and INTJs are incapable of tears)
5-only Sp5 and So5 (being a Sx type indicates that the type has bitches and every INTJ is an incel who lives in their mom's basement)
6-sure why not (not Sp6 because it is too soft and weak and INTJs are emo badasses)
7-Not possible because INTJs hate parties
8-Se-less 💀 (Se=8 according to my uncle)
9-INTJs are not doormats therefore no (an INTJ online started yelling at me because I threatened to call the fbi to accuse them of having an iq below 300)
INTP:
1-not possible, INTPs have no productivity (somehow 1=procrastination-less) (in my experience INTPs never make their bed after they wake up)
2-No Fe 💀 therefore no 2 (INTPs don't know how to bake cookies and all 2s love sugar cookies)
3-INTPs have no ambition or social skills (lack of Te 💀) therefore they are un-3 (INTPs don't even have the ambition to get up from bed)
4-nooo 4 is Fi not Ti 😡😡
5-Only Sp5 (INTPs cannot be social types since social types can properly communicate with human beings and Sx5s have bitches)
6-INTPs are too 200 iq and all 6s are npc henchmen of 8w7
7-INTPs are too 🤓
8-INTPs are too 🤓

ENTJ:
1-yes cuz ENTJ yell (no Sp1)
2-no cuz ENTJ yell
3-ENTJ intensifies (no Sx3 because female energy 🤢🤮🤢)
4-nooooo ENTJs are Fi-less (ENTJs only have emotions because their zeal is powered by the tears of 4s)
5-nooooo ENTJs have no Ti and Te is too dumb and Ti is 500 iq and 5s cannot be stupid
6-ENTJs don’t focus on danger, they focus on ta grindset 😎💪
7-ENTJs are too sane to be 7s
8-ummm actually Te doms can't be 8s only Se doms can be 8s cause Te doms are just E1 and E3 karens trying to be cool 🤓🤓🤓
9-ENTJs are NOT submissive and breedable hence it is impossible for them to be 9s
ENTP:
1-no Si therefore not 1 (ENTPs hate it when the government threatens them for doing whatever the fuck they want)
2-all ENTPs are chaos demons therefore they can't be 2s (2s are too kind and innocent to commit several acts of first degree murder)
3-only So3 (ENTP is too lazy for Sp3 and too mean to be Sx3)
4-no Fi no 4 💀
5-ENTPs are E types and all 5s are hermits (being an E type indicates that the type touches grass dayly and that is 100% contradictory to 5s)
6-ENTPs never worry (from my mother's friend's cousin's brother's personal experience with his ENTP friend)
7-only Sp7 7w8 (7w6, So7 and Sx7s are too angelic. ENTPs love arson)
8-no Se no chadness 💀
9-all ENTPs are peace-breakers (one broke into my house and asked for Vbucks) therefore they are not 9s
P.S. the enneagram
The Work is an esoteric system also known as the “Fourth Way”. It offers practical techniques for gaining self-knowledge.
Key practices include:
Try to feel at times that you are not just your body, but that you are looking through it and seeing things and people in this world by means of it.
Learn to distinguish between your instinctual, emotional and intellectual centres, so that you can start to balance and combine them.
Practice taking in impressions consciously.
Move into a position "between the opposites".
Learn not to identify, and understand that at a very deep level, "the observed is not the observer".

Wednesday: Wednesday Addams: INTJ 5w4
Myers Briggs: INTJ
Ni: Wednesday processes everything around her through her intuition- she follows hunches about the case, like looking into the Gates family mansion, Crackstone’s Crypt, etc. Wednesday quickly sizes up everyone around her as soon as she meets them, often reading between the lines to poing out what they’re really thinking. She always prefers to follow a plan before leaping into action, but can be quite reckless when pursuing a lead if it will get her closer to the truth. She trusts her visions despite everyone else saying they’re unreliable, because she kust knows they’re true.
Te: Wednesday is often very blunt to those around her. She never sugarcoats her words when arguing a point to someone, instead stating the facts as she sees them. She is efficient and pragmatic, and distrusts her own emotions. Wednesday finds it hard to admit to herself she has feelings for (SPOILERS) Tyler, only acting on these feelings after trying to ignore them for much of the season. Wednesday is not hesitant to point out her intuitive conclusions once she’s reached them, often times being perplexed by the offense taken by others.
Fi: At the end of the day, however, Wednesday is capable of deep emotions, displaying a protective nature over Pugsley by trying to get him to toughen up after her father’s arrest. She goes to great lengths to prove her father’s inocence, despite not always expressing how deep her love is for her family. She cares a great deal about Enid, expressing protectiveness over her multiple times despite trying to present an unemotional façade.
Se: Wednesday can be impulsive at times, and this impulsivity often puts her and her friends at risk. She does better in the mental world as opposed to the physical, but is skilled at certain physical tasks she devotes herself to, such as fencing and archery. She doesn’t live in the present, instead living in her own mental world, turning every problem into a puzzle to solve.
Enneagram: 5w4
Wednesday is a teenage author and the protagonist of her three unpublished novels, Viper, mirrors how she views herself- a “girl detective” like Wednesday who is “smart, perceptive, chronically misunderstood.” This describes Wednesday perfectly. She views herself as smarter than those around her, able to make connections others miss due to her own unique form of intelligence. She feels like an outsider, a central theme of the show, because of how perceptive she is. She has a tendency to pull away from others, withdrawing into her own mind to solve her problems. She relies on her intellect for any puzzle she comes across.
Stranger Things: Max Mayfield: ISTP 6w5
Myers Briggs: ISTP
Ti: Max is very analytical. She understands how things work in the world around her, and applies that logical understanding to the Upside Down. She quickly figures out how Vecna’s curse works based on the files she reads, and despite not being a “nerd” like her friends, often surprises them with logical insights. She makes logical, impartial decisions, even risking her life selflessly, because she knows it is the best course of action. She always argues based on logic as opposed to emotion when convincing her friends of her point, even in emotionally charged situations. She’s good at “hacking” different aspects of the Upside Down with her Ti- like using the Sauna Test on Billy when he’s possessed by the Mind Flayer.
Se: Max is very impulsive and trusts her gut. She lives in the moment, pursuing what she wants and not thinking about future repercussions, like when she takes Jane to the mall in Season Three. She does, however, fall into a Ti- Ni loop in Season Four, not living in the moment and withdrawing inward. She is very physically active and enjoys skateboarding. She is practical and more interested in the immediate world than her “nerdy” friends, preferring to improvise than to learn the theoretical explanations of the Upside Down.
Ni: Max likes to develop a plan before leaping into action. She uses her internal logic to assess the situation first, then formulates a plan using those same Ti hacks. She’s good at laying out a detailed plan for how to solve any Upside Down related problem, coming up with clever, creative solutions. She is intuitive about the Upside Down and good at drawing conclusions from the available information about Vecna’s plan.
Fe: Max is selfless and willing to sacrifice herself to save her friends and the world. She doesn’t find it easy to open up to people, especially after the trauma she experiences, but finds it helpful to work through her emotions with Lucas when she feels ready. In season two, she is hurt when her friends don’t tell her things about the Upside Down, because she wants to feel part of the group. She wants to be on the same page as her friends, and is upfront about her feelings in order to do so.
Enneagram: cp6w5
Max values her friendships above everything. She tries hard to be accepted by her friends, and is always loyal to them even when it’s difficult. She faces issues head on, looking to solve problems with the help of her friends rather than running in the opposite direction. She is cautious and likes to gather data before making a decision, using knowledge to help her solve problems.
Jamie Campbell Bower:
Quicktype: INFJ 4w3
Observations on myers briggs: He accurately predicts the show- he knew Vecna was the main villain before it was confirmed to him, which indicates Ni. Tends to unify everything he does- music and acting, indicating convergence of Ni. He is very intuitive about getting inside his character’s heads- NiFe. He is very personable and polite- Fe. He is methodical in his roles- Ti. He mentions having finally found a good work/ life balance- maybe struggles with living in the moment so inferior Se is likely. Se could be developing with age, he is in his thirties.
Observations on enneagram: He is very individualistic, authentic, identity based despite being Fe, which is why he is often typed as INFP but I see clear auxiliary Fe. He is sensitive and emotional, good at getting in touch with dark side for his roles. Sounds 4w3 to me, he is also very charming and socially conscious. Could have a 7 fix somewhere because he is a very positive person in interviews, reframes things to be more positive in a activity-/ fun- oriented way.
Stranger Things: Jane Hopper: ISFJ 6w5
Myers Briggs: ISFJ
Si: Jane has a deep connection to her past. She idealizes her friends and holds on to them even when they are apart, wearing clothing she got from them in her new life in California, where she is struggling to make new friends. She does struggle with amnesia, but has a strong connection to what memories she has, like her memory of her mother, forming an idealized image of her mother in her head despite not having interacted with her more than once, showing signs of latching onto one of her only emotionally significant memories that she has.
Fe: Jane is very focused on helping those she cares about. She defends Mike and his friends any time they are in danger, even if it puts her at risk. I originally typed her as an ISFP, but she cares too much about fitting in when she goes to California to be Fi. She doesn’t seem to mind trying to change herself to be accepted, even lying to Mike about making friends to save face, which an Fi user would see as inauthentic. She is very selfless, which plenty of Fi doms are, but she always seems to be doing everything for others and not herself, save for when she seeks out her mother. She’s very outwardly emotional and not afraid to say what she feels most of the time. She wants to fit in very badly, and tries hard to get Angela to like her, something an Fi user wouldn’t do- they would see this as going against their individuality. She is different and unique, but not because she wants to individuate herself or stand out. She wants to be accepted, but lacks the social experience to do so, which does not necessarily indicate Fi.
Ti: Jane puts all others’ needs ahead of her own, like when she tells Mike she is doing well in Lenora Hills because she knows it will make him happy. She doesn’t realize the Ti ramifocations, like what would happen if caught in a lie when Mike notices contradictions in her story. That isn’t to say she isn’t smart. She learns fast for someone who has amnesia, having forgotten most of what she learned as a young child due to her trauma she had experienced at age eight. She takes in everything she learns, bringing it all into her worldview, relearning a lot of the things she lost.
Ne: Jane can be overly reliant on idealizing the past, to the point of overstimating her ability to adapt to new scenerios. In California she tries to start over, but struggles to adapt to a new environment. She doesn’t have experience socially, and struggles to fit in. This could lead to arguments that she is Fi due to struggling to learn social values, an Fe strength, but Jane’s situation on Stranger Things isn’t somethinh a normal Fe user would. Jane lacks experience in a normal social environment, which could cause even a high Fe user to struggle socially. Jane understands the emotions of others very well, she simply struggles with adapting to new environments, indicating low Ne, not the absence of Fe. Jane also seems very prepccupied with the past when she does her historical heroes project on Hopper at the beginning of season four, choosing to focus on an important memory instead of living in the present. She struggles to let go of her past life, which is why she wears the clothes from her friends to keep a reminder of happy memories with her in the present.
Enneagram: 6w5
Jane has a strong desire for security. She is loyal to her friends and will do anything to protect them because they offer her another kind of protection- they care about her and show her compassion that Dr. Brenner had deprived her of at Hawkins Lab. Jane is always there for her friends- she goes to great lengths to keep them safe because they make her feel a sense of belonging. She tries to fit in at Lenora Hills High because of this need to belong, and is devastated when she does not have friends besides Will because of her 6’s desire for security through friends. She always sought security through friendship, from when she first met Mike and his friends, looking for people to make her feel loved. In return for this love, she offers her own love and uses her abilities to stop threats from the Upside Down to her friends. She is self reliant like a 5 wing, giving her an independent streak along with a possible 8 fix in her tritype- she is prone to anger and openly expresses it when threatened, and is very reactive. She struggles with feeling different, which might be a 4 fix, especially because she is highly emotional and reactive.
The Mortal Instruments, City of Bones: Jace Wayland: ISTP 8w7
Ti: Jace tells Clary, “I’ve been hunting demons all my life and in that time I’ve never seen an angel.” Jace believes in logic and evidence, and doesn’t believe in anything he sees as illogical. Jace tells Clary that he sees music as having “no room for emotion”- he sees it as a system with a practical use, for killing demons. He describes the components of music- describes the “mathematical combination” of rhythm, “a simple representation of notes- no interpretation” to “expose demons.” He knows how it works on a fundamental level and this knowledge allows him to use it to his advantage. He factors logic into all of his decisions- he brings Simon along to get Clary to trust him, and for the same reason saves Luke’s life at Clary’s request- not because it is what he wants or is the moral thing to do, but because it serves logic.
Se: Jace is impulsive and acts in the moment. He trusts Clary and Simon based on gut “impulse” because he sees Clary’s potential and realizes that allowing Simon to come along will convince Clary to trust him. Jace is skilled in combat and does most of the fighting throughout City of Bones, relying on instinct in fights. He knows how to manuever his body and is a graceful fighter with fluid movements.
Ni: Jace prefers instinct over planning, but is still very intuitive- he can sense that he can trust Clary right away, but sometimes misinterpets the thoughts and emotions of others, like when Clary explains her kiss with Jace to Simon, and Jace takes it as meaning that the kiss wasn’t “special” to Clary, relying on an immediate interpretation of what is right in front of him, which he believes is more logical, as opposed to reading between the lines.
Fe: Jace can be blunt and stoic, and at times seems unemotional because he prefers to trust logic in his decision making. He tells Clary when she asks him to save Luke- “he’s a dead man, I can’t help him.” He wants to be practical and get Clary to safety, but realizes it is more logical to help her to earn her trust, and also because he cares about her feelings and knows Luke is important to her.
Enneagram: 8w7
Jace, in Clary’s words, “acts like nothing ever hurts him.” He places a lot of importance on being “strong,” because the man who raised him enforced that idea to him his whole life. Jace is also a shadowhunter, a job that doesn’t allow him to express vulnerability- he can’t allow himself to feel. He tells Clary when talking about training an animal that his abusive father then killed- “I cried all night and then I never cried again.” Jace believes there is no room for emotion in his life- he believes his own strength is what enables him and his friends to survive. He is strong to protect them, always saving those weaker than him from danger. His 7 wing is impulsive and he is double feeling repressed- he never fails to act on a goal when he needs to. He lacks the passivity of a 9 wing but seems to have a fun loving side he only shows to Clary.
Been very busy with the spring semester and then an accelerated summer course. Will be updating my blog this summer, going to start typing celebrities and explaining the theory behind different systems more. Questions are welcome.
The Originals: Lucien Castle: INTJ 3w4
Myers Briggs: INTJ
Ni: Lucien is primarily focused on the future and bringing about the end of the Mikaelsons. He spends a thousand years planning his revenge against the Mikaelsons, and thinks every part of his plan through. He is intuitive about people and quick to guess what they’re thinking or what they’ll do next. Everything he does is to accomplish his Ni vision- he wins Klaus’s trust by saving his life, only to later betray him, and manipulates those around him to achieve his greater goal.
Te: Lucien takes steps to accomplish his Ni driven goals and is very efficient. He is quick to point out flaws in other’s logic and becomes frustrated with ineffiency. He has strong willpower and knows how to make his vision come to fruition. He is logical and makes decisions based on efficiency and his own goals. He is blunt and to the point, not sugarcoating his words unless he wants something from someone.
Fi: Lucien cares about few, specifically Aurora. He defends her after Klaus breaks up with her, naiively believing she loves him despite her indifference. He hates Klaus and his family for Elijah’s compulsion and for feeling superior to him. He hides these feelings until he has the opportunity for revenge. He keeps his emotions inside until he has the opportunity to act on them.
Se: Lucien has a taste for the finer things in life and frequently parties. He has no problem acting on his plans once he’s thought them through, but prefers to plan before rushing into action. He is not impulsive like Klaus, an ENTJ, but thinks things through and often cautions Klaus to show restraint, which is why INTJ seems more likely than ENTJ. He is also primarily motivated by his Ni vision, and efficiency is secondary to that for him, whereas Klaus’s primary focus is on efficiency and getting things done, cutting corners to get there faster even if it means acting more impulsively sometimes.
Enneagram: 3w4
Lucien strives to be the best, and finds his sense of worth in having earned money. Deep down he feels inferior over having been born to a lower class, but overcompensates for these feelings by acquiring power both socially and by becoming more powerful than the Mikaelsons. Lucien is charming but all of his goals are based on his personal feelings related to being mistreated for being different to the upper class people he served. He felt disadvantaged and insecure about his social status, embarrassed by feelings of failure and weakness. He wants to achieve things so he can prove to others that not only is he as worthful and as capable as them, but that he can do even better.
Temperament: Choleric Sanguine
Lucien is a results driven person. He is the CEO of a company and has a natural ability for leadership. He is frustrated with inefficiency and is extremely pragmatic. (Choleric) He is also charismatic and sociable, which can make him seem like an ENTJ instead of an INTJ. He likes to charm people, especially to get what he wants, and he is very much fun- loving and enjoys letting loose. (Sanguine)
Scream: Billy Loomis: INTJ 6w5
Myers Briggs: INTJ
Ni: Billy plans out every step of his revenge plan in detail- from kidnapping Neil Prescott, to messing with Sidney’s emotions leading up to the eventual big reveal. He plans to kill Sidney exactly one year after he killed her mother, all part of his vision for revenge. Billy is analytical and sees connections between horror films and real life, and uses his understanding of these films to plan his murders. He relies too much on planning and when his plans go wrong, becomes angry and violent because he can’t act in the moment.
Te: Billy is efficient and knows what steps are necessary to achieve his vision. He plants evidence to pin the murder on Neil Prescott, and kills Tatum Riley to get her out of the way so he can focus on Sidney. He even sets himself up to look guilty initially, only to have a clean cellular record so he can clear his own name of any further suspicion.
Fi: Billy is not expressive and prefers to work through his emotions inwardly. His entire revenge plan is based on his own emotions. He kills Maureen Prescott because of how it affected his family life, and how that impacted him emotionally. He has a lot of unexpressed, pent up rage.
Se: Billy is not so good at acting in the moment when the plan goes wrong. He is better at planning ahead. As Ghostface, he is quick with his reflexes, and his Ni insights allow him to stop his victims from getting away.
Enneagram: 6w5
Billy’s motive for killing is lack of security in his family. He blames Sidney and her mother for his mother leaving after his father’s affair. He is analytical and inquisitive, and sees the world in a unique- but twisted- way due to his obsession with horror movies.
The Originals: Camille O’Connell: INFJ 1w2
Myers Briggs: INFJ
Ni: Camille is extremely analytical and intuitive about people. She is good at reading between the lines and figuring out what people are thinking or feeling. She is a good strategist and thinks things through. She always develops a plan before acting.
Fe: Cami is openly expressive of her feelings and is very compassionate. She believes that people are good, but she still has a realistic view of the world and the darkness that exists inside of people. She cares about social norms and is quick to remind Klaus of them when he breaks one of those rules.
Ti: Cami is logical and impartial. She is good at noticing other people’s logical inconsistencies. She is very inquisitive and theoretical. She takes a systematic apprach towards her own darkness as well as Klaus’s and everyone around her. She is generally rational and level headed when making decisions.
Se: Cami is not the best fighter, and uses her ability to plan and strategize to overcompensate for this. When Klaus takes her dark objects, she takes the white oak because she believes the only way to protect herself is to have an advantage against her potential adversaries, vampires that are stronger than her. She appears to be in the grip of Se, acting impulsively to try and protect herself due to her anxiety about her physical abilities.
Enneagram: 1w2 Tritype 162
Cami is very principled and perfectionistic. She believes in the goodness of people and hopes to bring out Klaus’s kinder side and help him become a better person. She is ambitious and disciplined. She takes care of her friends and wants to be a good, loving person. When she becomes a vampire, she disintegrates to 7 and becomes much more impulsive and less perfectionistic. Cami wants to be a good person, and is terrified of her own inner darkness and attraction to Klaus because of this darkness. She is afraid she will end up like her brother before finding out he was hexed, and studies psychology to understand her own darkness after assaulting a man in college.
Attitudinal Psyche: LEFV
1L Confident Logic: Cami is very inquisitive and theoretical, relying on logical frameworks in psychology to understand the world around her. She believes in objectivity and logical consistency. She becomes frustrated when others behave in an irrational way and is a very logical person. She believes in a logical explanation to everything and even applies psychology to vampire mind compulsion.
2E Flexible Emotion: She is very compassionate and accepting of others and their emotions. She is very expressive and open. She tends to be the peacemaker when needed. She tends to see emotions in shades of gray, not judging those who do not live up to the same moral/ social standards too harshly. Instead she empathizes with and tries to understand these individuals, not having a black and white view of emotions.
3F Insecure Physics: She is not the best at combat and is very aware of this vulnerability, making her feel unsafe after Aurora turns her. She overcompensates for this weakness with her planning abilities.
4V Unbothered Volition: Cami is not as focused on controlling her environment or getting results, but on her understanding of the world around her in regards to people and in empathizing with the emotions of others.
Scream: Jill Roberts: INFJ 3w4
Myers Briggs: INFJ
Ni: Jill is a detailed and methodical planner. She carefully plans every bit of her murder schemes, to the point of providing forensic evidence at the crime scene to make it appear as if she were the victim instead of the killer. She plans for every detail- like planting evidence in Sidney’s car to keep her in town long enough to pull off her plan after the first killing and she has Charlie call her as Ghostface in order to remove suspicion from herself.
Fe: Jill wants to be loved and seen as “the star” instead of Sidney. She is jealous of Sidney’s fame and plans to kill her due to this jealousy. She manipulates the emotions of those around her, pretending to be afraid or empathic in order to win others’ sympathy. She is good at pretending to care for her friends, always saying the right thing when they need her to, despite not actually caring about them. She is an extremely unhealthy Fe user, using deception and fake compassion to get what she wants, which is her NiFe end goal of being famous.
Ti: Jill is very inquisitive and intelligent. She is methodical in her murders, especially in faking her own near murder, providing Ti evidence for her supposed attack, in order to bring her Ni goal into fruition. She is cold and logical, knowing what details to manipulate to present herself as the victim.
Se: Out of all the killers in the Scream franchise, Jill comes closest to actually pulling it off. She plans everything down to the smallest detail, but struggles when things don’t go according to plan. When Sidney survives, Jill realizes she has to act fast and kill her before she’s caught, but is very sloppy with the way she goes about it, and in the end this leads to her downfall.
Enneagram: 3w4
Jill is popular and well liked at her high school. She knows how to charm people and get them to like her. She also craves nothing more than to be famous, and will do anything to get there, even kill her own family. Jill tells Sidney, “I don’t need friends, I need fans!” after Sidney confronts her for killing all her friends. Jill wants to be loved and famous for being a “hero,” even if she has to lie, scheme and kill to get there. She even kills her partner in order to be the sole survivor, or the “star.” She also wants to be seen as an innocent victim, which is why she says to Sidney about how to get famous that you just need to have bad things happen to you. She equates being a victim with being special, as an extremely unhealthy 4 wing. She wears it like a badge when she’s wronged, and believes herself to be the victim when her boyfriend dumps her to the point of killing him.
Going forward on this blog I would like to answer questions related to personality systems. Anyone is welcome to submit any questions regarding this topic and I will answer them. I will also begin posting explanations of various topics such as the cognitive functions, enneagram motivations, instinctual variants, and other things in various systems, in addition to typing fictional characters. I will also be typing some celebrities at some point. Requests of characters for me to type are also welcome. I also have a new blog focusing exclusively on attitudinal psyche for those of you who are interested. (attitudinalpsyche Attitudinal Psyche Explained is the blog) Also, I am not certain how much I will be posting since this is my first semester of college back on campus, but I will try to post a few times a month.

He also has no problems with lying about who he is in order to get ahead, manipulating other’s feelings to get what he wants.
Ti: Tom is clever and methodical in his cover ups. He sends letters to himself to make it look like Dickie’s still alive, then forges a suicide note by Dickie to cover up both Dickie’s and Freddie’s deaths when people start to get suspicious of him, and lies to Marge about how he got Dickie’s rings.

He hates not having money, and mooches off Dickie to enjoy a life he never could have before. He pretends to be Dickie to get Meredith to like him and later impersonates Dickie to keep living the life he desperately wants. He is also very “helpful” to Dickie and Marge- he agrees to keep Dickie’s secret after Silvana’s death, he lets Marge confide in him in order to make her feel loved so he can manipulate her. He needs to feel loved and becomes devastated when Dickie eventually rejects him, his 2 wing disintegrating to 8 rage when he kills Dickie.
Heathers: Jason “JD” Dean: ENFP 4w5
Myers Briggs: ENFP
Ne: JD is creative and good at improvising. He figures out a way to cover up Heather Chandler’s death after impulsively tricking Veronica into killing her. He is intuitive about other people’s motivations and uses this to make his cover ups seem realistic. He makes Heather Chandler’s note emotional and believable, playing upon people’s emotions so they don’t suspect her death was really a murder. He paints Kurt and Ram as lovers by providing “evidence” that he thinks people will believe, because “this is Ohio.” He makes broad connections and knows how people think.
Fi: JD is individualistic and authentic. He refuses to change himself for anyone at his school, and thinks Veronica should do the same- like when Veronica compares being popular to having a job and he says “Maybe it’s time to take a vacation.” He has a tendency to self- project, and believes Veronica really wants to harm the other students because he does.
Te: JD takes a methodical aproach to covering up his murders. He gathers “evidence” for Kurt and Ram’s “suicides,” and efficiently executes these murders. He successfully plans the murders and finds a way to manipulate Veronica both times.
Si: JD doesn’t pay much attention to the past or traditions. When Veronica asks if he likes his father, he says he never really thought about it. He does, however, feel a strong connection to his mother, even though she died when he was a child. He deep down feels unloved, likely due to his mother’s suicide, and finally admits to Veronica at the end of the film that this is the real reason why he wants to blow up the school.
Enneagram: 4w5
JD is quirky and individualistic, and somewhat of an outcast at his school. He hates the bullies at his school because they bully other students for being different, something JD can relate to. He is focused on his inner pain due to his negative life experiences. He is also very intelligent and knowledgeble, and uses this knowledge to aid him in his crimes.
