I can’t stop thinking about the drawbacks of the other two kids you already mentioned evans memory problems so

Michael:

- gets very exhausted when he uses his “raw power”

- has an adverse reaction to the animatronics electronic remnant

Elisabeth:

- just like the other two her powers are exhausting when she overtaxes herself

- I headcannon that after she warps through space she sometimes is dissociated and doesn’t know where she is so her brothers have to calm her down

Mutant!Afton Children AU:

So uh… I have a mostly developed AU idea that I partially got from FE3H and X-men that I’ll call the ‘Mutant AU’ where the Afton kids have a “remnant mutation” that grants them superhuman abilities pertaining to the integral elements of time, energy (power) and space. Originally it was a crack AU, but like all my AU’s, it slowly starts to transition into not a crack AU anymore-

The Bite of ‘83 happens, but at the EXACT PINTPOINTED MOMENT/MILISECOND IN TIME where Evan’s head gets crushed/bit, a ‘dormant power’ laying within him suddenly awakens and triggers itself, and time stops.

His spirit temporarily sort of ‘astral projects’ ascends to the plane above the mortal/physical world, and after learning of the situation, he uses his newfound power/essence and rewinds time to before Michael and his friends confront him- it is a steadily evolving ability since it has just spawned within him, triggered by the enhanced/mutated remnant in his body manifesting as an ability symbolized by a crest- his crest depicted as a triskelion.

When Evan reawakens back in his body, he’s shocked to learn that it actually worked- he’s back in the moment where he’s sitting on the floor cradling his Fredbear Plushie to his chest. However, he also learns that no one but him remembers that he ‘branched’ the timeline, as he still sees Michael and his friends snickering at him from across the Pizzeria and walking up to him. 

BEYOND pissed and rageful, and realizing with a newfound flame burning within that he’s not going to take his cruddy life circumstances lying down anymore- especially now that he has the knowledge that inexorable predestined fates NEVER existed- Evan basically tells them to screw off if they don’t have anything nicer to say. When they try and grab him, the kid basically bites down as hard as he can on Andrew’s arm, shoves Dorothy and Elijah away rather roughly, and kicks Michael in the crotch as hard as he can muster the effort to do so in his attempt to escape.

Both Michael and Evan are grounded after that. Ooh, boy, who would’ve thought, eh?

Well, there’s also the fact that Evan literally falls asleep and doesn’t wake up or even stir until the next evening due to the amount of effort he exerted by, y’know, LITERALLY performing chronokinesis.

Evan thinks he’s going crazy afterwards and doesn’t have a firm grasp on his powers, having really bad memory lapses, accidentally rewinding back or speeding time up forward a couple minutes when he doesn’t mean to, etc- this means his nights of fending off his nightmares go differently and are screwed up as well, and as a result of time itself being altered, his nightmares and hallucinations begin to weaken and distort, much to his shock. There are also more amusing symptoms, such as flowing water in the shower occasionally stopping in time. His perception of time becomes really screwed, and he becomes a bit concerned and occupied with buying clocks and experimenting with them to see if he really gained a newfound, mayhaps slightly overpowered ability out of the blue, all while trying to keep this madness a secret from his family.

But what NOBODY knows is that Evan awakening his power would prompt the power laying dormant within his siblings to awaken as well, affecting them in a catalyst-type fashion. His brother Michael would gain the ability symbolizing raw power, such as monstrously superhuman strength, a noticeably unusually robust constitution, and energy manipulation (being electrokinesis as well as the manipulation of potential and kinetic energy). This power would consolidate into the form they take today and would be awakened by remnant, as well as a crest within him resembling that of an Eye of Horus.

Meanwhile there’s Elizabeth with astrokinesis consolidated into form by her crest- a scarab beetle. There's her, who literally can warp through space, send objects into zero-gravity and ‘teleport’ to anywhere depending on the energy she exerts- and in the beginning, all three siblings can’t control their abilities and try desperately to keep it a secret from one another and everyone around them, while trying to figure out what’s happening to them as well. Michael and Elizabeth also discover their powers via eventful and shocking ways as well.

William is heavily suspicious, while Eleanor and the rest of Hurricane remain blissfully unaware of the fact that, possibly because of all the half-supernatural, half-sci-fi shit going on beneath the surface, they’re accidentally housing three spiritually mutant superhuman siblings that are panicking so hard because oye, they don’t know what the everloving fuck is happening to them either.

𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵|| 𝗙𝗡𝗔𝗙 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬

Chapter 1

TW‼️: mentions of death, blood, gore, murder.

Michael Schmidt (Afton) made his way into the office at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. He came here when his dad and Henry Emily created this place. He wasn’t too impressed with it, honestly. He got to see how the animatronics were created along with how the suits worked. Michael’s friends came as well once in awhile to see what trouble they could get into. Michael had met Henry’s daughter, Charlotte at one of the parties being held at the pizzeria. Her and Elizabeth had gotten along well. Evan was shy when it came to other people so he stayed beside their mother, Clara. Foxy was Michael’s favorite animatronic. He thought he was cooler looking than the others. Especially the old suits.

Although his thoughts would be changed about this place. Back in 1983, him and his friends decided to mess with Evan, Michael’s little brother, at his birthday party. Michael constantly bullied him. He didn’t bully Elizabeth though since he could tolerate her. On this day, Michael, Jeremy, Fritz, and their other friends picked up Evan and took him over to FredBear. Then unfortunately when Evan was close enough to the animatronics mouth. It clamped down on his head, causing a bloody scene to happen. Michael did not attend for this to happen. William was furious with Michael and his friends. When everyone had gone home, William kicked Michael and his belongings out of his house. He never wanted to see him again. Michael had visited Evan in the hospital when his father wasn’t around. He never saw his mother again after Evan’s funeral.

He had stayed with his friends during this time. He mainly stayed with Jeremy since they were closer. Jeremy was there for Michael when his brother had passed. Henry was there for him as well since he knew how awful William had been towards him. He let Michael stay for awhile as well so Elizabeth could see her brother. She missed him a lot. William would get mad at her when she’d mention anything about him. Tragedy soon struck again when Charlotte had gotten murdered one rainy night. Henry was devastated and regretted ever creating those animatronics with William. Henry had created a marionette or a puppet to protect children at the pizzeria, specifically Charlotte. After her death, the puppet seemed to act strange and almost like Charlotte. Even Jeremy had commented on how the puppet acted.

Years later, Jeremy had gotten a job there to be a night guard. He begged Michael to do the night shift with him. But, unfortunately Michael had to work the day shift. Jeremy had told Michael his experiences from working there. From the animatronics moving to the weird phone call he had received while working one of his shifts. He said the “phone guy” as they called him said this; “We had a spare in the back, a yellow one, someone used it...now none of them are acting right.” This was very strange to them both. On one fateful night while working his shift. Jeremy unfortunately had gotten bitten by Mangle. The officers ruled his incident as “accidental” but to Michael, it didn’t seem accidental. Jeremy had been found with his frontal lobe in Mangles jaw as the animatronic was hanging from the ceiling. Though, Jeremy had miraculously survived. He wasn’t the same and had to be under 24/7 care. Michael was grateful that he had survived. They did have one friend, Fritz Smith who had died at a young age. He had either ran away or was murdered between ‘83 and ‘87. Michael does recall Jeremy mentioning how Foxy seemed to have Fritz’s personality on the night of that strange message he had received. It was very odd.

When Michael had thought his life wouldn’t get any worse, he was wrong. His sister Elizabeth has mysteriously died. He was devastated a lot by the news. When he got a job at the Sister Location, he didn’t know what was in store for him. When he spent his time there. He noticed that Ballora resembled his mother a lot. He also had learned the dark truth and secrets that place had held. He learned that Baby was created for Elizabeth and that she was the one who killed his sister. He learned she had been scooped. Unfortunately enough for Michael, he would experience the same fate. His killer was Ennard. An animatronic that was basically a mix of all the others. When the days passed after the accident. Michael looked awful. Now, he’s basically a purple creepy looking corpse. He surprisingly got the job at the pizzeria and now he gets to experience the nightmares. Thankfully, Henry had gotten him this job because he knew Michael wouldn’t have to be seen by the other employees.

Tonight was his third night working at this place. He had a very odd feeling about it. The animatronics seemed very strange. Once he sat in the chair, he listened to the phone call. He sighed softly and thought to himself. “Tonight’s going to be fun.”

Authors note; I hope you guys enjoyed this story :) and yes I did to my research for Jeremy’s part. I was intending on killing him off, but I have other plans for him in this series. Also! If you want the intro to this story it’s on my profile.

Aftons relationships-my headcanons

In my version William doesn't love his family-he manipulated them (mostly Mrs Afton because he knows her the most)

Mrs Afton is sweet person who gets wrong person (ekhem William ekhem) but loves her kids

She LOVED William but when she found out how he really is, started to hate him and feeling bitter fir being manipulated for many years and at the end-they get divorce
