When you’ve dedicated your life to words, it’s important to go out eloquently.

THE GOAT

A fanart depiction of adult Uzumaki Naruto and Hyūga Hinata holding hands and leaning against each other's forehead, their eyes closed. Their posture and outfits, including Hinata's sophisticated headwear, are similar to those of Rhaenyra and Daemon Targaryen during their traditional Valyrian wedding scene from the TV show "House of the Dragon" season 1, episode 7, "Driftmark".

"We have always been meant to burn together." —Rhaenyra Targaryen, House of the Dragon (1.07)

Unless your Tumblr handle is @chloelapomme, chances are that you ignore the chokehold House of the Dragon had on me last year, and how quick I was to turn a blind eye to all the incestuous relationships at the heart of the show 😭

I had originally drawn this for the NaruHina Month 2020 day 18 prompt, "Renewal of vows", but was dissatisfied with the coloring and refrained from posting it back then. Gave it another shot this year and still wasn't happy with it, so I ultimately went with the simple outline version, except for the colored headwear part—it took me so long to do, I just had to include it :)
