AU Neue OCs Update
Sorry I haven’t posted in a while, I got sick for a week then just felt no motivation to draw or what to draw.
So I figured something to help out with this is to redesign the Neue AU variants mainly adjusting colors, clothing & general body shape while adding some story elements for you all to read about them.
Right now, I’m currently trying to pick color palettes for each variant. Basing the colors off the different goat breeds while adding some other colors to prevent them from looking too bland. I’m also changing/adding a few of the characters.

Basil x Reader

- I think he would call his lover Daffodil
- As a guy who loves naps, I think he would often appreciate being woken up to you offering fresh lemonade ready for him and his brother
- He loves seeing what other people are capable of, so whether that means you're good at tending to the plants, the animals, the kitchen, or even tending to the home, he's going to praise you. Any help that you can offer means a lot to him, and he will think any skill you have is wonderful
- He'll help you tend to the animals on the farm, especially since some are more feisty than others
- His magic smells of basil, while his magic tastes of melon and berries
- He plays the banjo, so when it's late at night and the two of you are sitting on the porch, he's going to play while sitting in his rocking chair
- He really loves the chickens on the farm, and he would love to let you hold them if they don't try to peck at you
- He loves drinking tea, so sometimes when you're stressed out he'll make some special tea that tastes wonderful and is great for calming effects
- He's a great listener, so he'll listen to any problems you have and offer pretty solid advice
- He loves seeing you wearing his sunflower hat, so he's not afraid to put it on you when the sun is too bright
- He can pick up anything that's giving you trouble, or y'know, you. He loves lifting you up in his arms, it makes him feel like hes providing
- He's really not the best cook in the house, especially since it's Juniper that is the better cook, but he will make you meals when you're tired. He's honestly better at baking, so you can expect him to make you homemade treats instead
- He gets flustered with physical touch, even if it's just handholding, but he really likes it and he's willing to remove his gloves to feel you more
- He likes doing small pranks on those he adores, especially since they're a sign that he likes to see you laugh or look a little silly. They're always in good fun, and he won't ever make a prank that would upset you
- He loves dad jokes and puns, be prepared. If you end up throwing them at him back, it'll just encourage him to make more and he's going to blush when you joke with him
- He'll praise and encourage you till the sun burns out, and even then he'll try to find a way to support and love you
- He's not one for big dates or large gestures of affection, but he would invite you to sit down with him and his brother if you didn't live there. If you did, he'd opt to walk down to the lake with you, where he and his brother built a gazebo, and enjoy a meal and small dance with you as the fireflies surround you
- He loves when you sing, and he's not shy when he wraps his arms around you and dances with you in the kitchen
- He loves the scent you have, and so he'll bury his face in your shoulder and just inhale before sighing dreamily
- Even when your hair is a mess in the morning and your face is scrunched up and you're all disheveled, he'll still find you beautiful
- He prepares quiet mornings with you on the weekends when he's not working, where he'll make pancakes or anything you prefer and a cup of coffee or juice. He'll set up the table or ask if you want to sit on the porch and the two of you can sit in silence or talk about anything you want
- When guests are over he's going to make sure to linger around you, if he notices you're uncomfortable in some way. He often will rest his hand against the curve of your back or rest his head against your shoulder. He's not the jealous type since he's so comfortable with you and trusts you a lot, but these are small moments to reassure you.
- He would invite you to go to the market with him, and he'll make sure to keep an eye on things you like. He and his brother are pretty set with wealth due to selling vegetables, fruit, and eggs. If he sees you eying any flowers, clothes, jewelry, or trinkets, he'll buy it for you. His brother is good at selling things, so you and him would be walking around getting tools, meat, and anything like clothes anyways.
- He's bought flowers for you while at the market before, and he's picked up on flower language due to the seller. You can expect him to send little messages and to pick up on what flowers you like too

- I think he would call his lover starshine
- I think he met you as an astronaut, and when you were transported to a part of space that could allow breath he found you wandering
- He has freckles that resemble the stars, so he loves when you trace your fingers along them
- He's naturally softer than other Sanses in nature like Basil, but he's a bit more melancholic. As a result, you can find him stargazing and reflecting on life. He'll invite you to sit with him if you're willing
- He has a wool that's made of stardust and magic, which results in having a soothing effect on others around him. He often will let you hug him if you're stressed, tired, or upset, which sometimes means you'll fall asleep while in his arms
- He is inquisitive, so he'll ask you tons of questions about Earth if you're willing to talk about it
- The two of you would definitely go roller skating since on 'land', there's areas where you both can get on skates and have some fun! It's cute little date ideas like this he'd have fun having with you
- If he falls asleep, he'll start floating if he's not inside a building or on an edge, so the two of you would carry around ribbon or rope to keep you both tethered for either of you to prevent floating off and having to be caught by others
- He's often touching you in some way whether it's by wrapping arms with you, holding your hand, or locking pinkies with you
- His eyes glow like a galaxy, and he doesn't realize it happens when he's extremely happy, so you can tell how he feels when he sees you or visits
- He only pranks those he thinks positively of, and he'll often try to get you to laugh with him since they're in good fun
- He smells odd, something that you can't quite pinpoint since they're all in space and made of magic after all. It's soothing though, like lavender. His magic tastes similar, but with a flicker of blue raspberry or fresh mint that is electric in nature
- He loves technology, so he'll make you little trinkets or help you with your ship when you are trying to figure out how to get it to work again. With his love for technology, he also will make you random new items and be giddy when he can see you becoming excited or inquisitive
- The more he learns about Earth, the more he wishes he could visit it. However, the more he learns about what life for you is like there, the more he can tell that you both miss home and hate it. So, he'll find ways to distract you if he notices your thoughts are drifting
- He's always willing to comfort you, to stroke your hair or stroke your hands when you're stressed or tired
- He is willing to offer his coat to you when you're cold, since the land can be cold in some areas. It's extremely soft, and smells of his magic
- He has a bit more energy than the regular Sans even if he's more peaceful and calm in nature, so he encourages you to try and experience the weird parts of their home
- He can't flirt for shit but that doesn't mean he refuses to try. He'll often disguise it with slips of the tongue, you mishearing things, or something along those lines. He sometimes will get distracted when looking at you, and that's when he's unable to stop the blush on his cheeks as a result
- He helps you find clothing if it's not his brother doing it, since he knows you'll be staying there for awhile. When he saw you in more,,,'exposed' clothing he couldn't help but avert his gaze since he gets flustered easily when he sees your body outside of the spacesuit
- He's not easily jealous, but he does tend to get a bit insecure when you guys go places such as Grillbys since you're bombarded with questions and attention. He lingers near you a lot and he's quieter than usual. He worries you'll find him boring sometimes
- You're a lot lighter in space no matter what, and even if he's not physically strong on his land, you can expect him to pick you up when you're down so that he can spin your around and toss you up so that you can float with him in areas that have less gravity
- He can't cook or bake, but he'll be so willing to help when you guys make things
- He doesn't smoke or really drink, but if you guys did end up going to drink he'll make sure to keep an eye on you since monster drinks are stronger on humans. So, the sweetheart is going to make sure that if you do drink, to carry you home and take care of you
- He's openly communicative compared to a lot of the other Sanses, but he gets a bit more emotional than he wants. He'll cry with you, but he's going to smile and hold you when you're both vulnerable and listening

Outertale -
Outertale Sans: Cosmic Serrif. I thought it would be kinda funny that he would name himself Cosmic because when he finds out how similar he and Vanilla are, the two progressively end up making a connection to Comic Sans becoming a pun with "Cosmic."
Outertale Papyrus: Comet Serrif. Fast, energetic, and bright - Comet got his name out of inspiration. He actually was able to pick what name he wanted quickly as a result
Farmtale -
Farmtale Sans: Basil Serrif. Basil is a type of plant that is suspected to have mild sedative properties that affect mood and ease things such as depression, anxiety, and sleeping problems. Wonderful for foods, teas, etc, he thought that the name itself was just perfect for him. He's a very laid back character, so it works along with the fact that his magic happens to be green
Farmtale Papyrus: Juniper Serrif. The word juniper comes from the Latin word juniperus, which means "to produce." The name symbolizes life, growth, and it's known to be a resilient plant. So, what better name could he go for that's based off a plant like his brother and that perfectly captures his excellence?
Gtale(?) -
G!Sans: Marigold Serrif. Like his magic, it is a bright flower that often symbolizes power, strength, and light. It is also said that Marigolds are thought to attract souls. Back then in the Victorian Era, where the Language of Flowers prospered, marigolds often were about grief and sadness, often put in bouquets as a way of expressing kindness and solidarity. He would have chosen this name as a sort of gesture of withholding the memories of not only Gaster, but of all that lie underground as they vanished. He is a withdrawn and self reflective individual, it makes sense he'd choose it as it holds significant meaning to him
G!Papyrus: Sage Serrif. The name means wise, or prophet in Latin terms. The plant is commonly also used in practices that include burning it in order to connect to the spiritual world or enhance intuition. His magic is green, so to specifically focus on green Sage reveals that it represents wisdom, intelligence, and experience. When part of Gaster's soul fused with his own, not only did he grow more knowledge, but he progressively became a mixture of both personalities. So, sage was the perfect inspiration for him
Fashiontale -
For context: I do not like anything from the original AU Underlust It was a proshipping hellhole that I do not like and honestly most of the designs if not all of them are not to my personal liking. So, as a result I took some inspiration of what it was "going for" and decided to make my own little AU like spin on it. So, to get a slight idea, this is where these two come from
Fashiontale Sans: Cupid Serrif. The God of desire, attraction, affection, and erotic love. It's a fitting name for him because of his popularity underground for his performances and his ability to attract all the things that the God Cupid is capable of. He would only want such a pretty name for a pretty face
Fashiontale Papyrus: Desi Serrif. Desi comes from Desire, shortened to a simple sweetness. It also is a name meaning "yearning, sorrow, or desire." With all of this, what really pushed him to choose this name is because of the Desi Roses, a garden rose variety that is known for its strong scent. Everyone already knows the symbolism of roses, so this was just the perfect name for him
Apple Brothers:
I have no desire to change their names, since they're such solid ones. However, below, I decided to add little nicknames that were technically their own "names" when the two were children
Dream: Sunny or Dreamy, which used to be used by Nightmare when the two were children
Nightmare: Nicknames he had from Dream were ones such as Nighty or Moony. ("oh like FNA-" "shhh shhh shh shh. Shh")
Glitch:
Glitched Swap Sans: Blooper. He was not meant to be an outcode, let alone meant to even be in the void to begin with. A stumble of steps, a missed line, a missed frame. The dictionary states that Blooper means "an embarrassing error" "a mistake" and I think that perfectly encapsulates him entirely. How he feels, how he was created. There's a lot I personally changed in his character, but I wanted to name him Blooper since not only is it fitting, but because it also is a small nod towards "Blueberror", which was his original name
Closing Thoughts:
I plan to just keep the rest of the names that we have for other popular AU's such as Ink, Reaper, Dust, Killer, Error, Geno, and Cross.
…Just wanted an excuse to draw them

Here’s the thing I said I was gonna post yesterday
They're exploring an abandoned barn, which is something that a lot of people have done where I live. Cause we're in the middle of no where land.
My little head cannon for this scenario is Farmtale sans has done this a lot, and prob doesn't believe in ghosts, so he's super chill in these type of situations. Whereas I think Horror would be a bit more careful.
