Fmabuary - Blog Posts

The past few prompts, haven't been keeping up with it because I've been crotcheing, but I did catch up today (the first spread was finished on Tuesday). Bar the nina drawing the rest of them are just quick doodles because I'm not too motivated at the minute because I want to finish my blanket I'm making.

Day 9, sun!!!

I did have to do a massive catch up yesterday, but then I didn't take any pictures so couldn't post lol. I love this drawing though!!! I do kinda regret adding drawings around this one tbh, but I do still find it so cute!!

I did kind of mess her face up because the market smudged and wasn't the right colour, so that's why she's now covered in dirt 😂 it's kinda cute though

I also finally have some skin tones markers coming in the mail!!! Hopefully that will allow me to do more marker drawings whilst I'm still interested in them lol

Fmabuary day six! Automail

When I tell you I spent over an hour trying to find this reference 😭 the drawing didn't even take that long.

Kinda regret the background colour, feel like it should have been saved for tomorrow but oh well. I also regret sticking this page so much, but I'll get better at stickering lol 😂

Day five!!! Halcyon

I won't lie I didn't know what to draw for this and this is my best idea 😂 just a quick doodle/sketch because I wasn't as excited lol

Day threeeeee!!! Snow ❄️

I love the idea of all three of these playing in the snow as kids!! Ed (in red) winry (in pink but I kinda wish I chose green) and Al (in blue)!!

Not sure why those colours, just kinda fitted the vibe lol.

I just wanted to add basic colours to bring the drawing together more without going ham on colours and doing a full piece. It's simple (and not very good if you look closely lol) but I like it!!

Fmabuary day two!!! Travel!

I really like the scene where al is put with the sheep, though I did feel really bad for him. Decided to draw this idea with my own twist (such as less sheep ext) and I really like it!!

Originally this was meant to be a quick sketch/doodle not done with my alcohol markers hence why I sketched in pen and drew straight in my sketchbook and not on my marker paper but oh well. This sketchbook does handle my art style quite well tbh, but alcohol bleeds through anything so the bleed is quite bad on the back lol, which is fine. Sketchbooks are meant to be worked in, so things like bleeding whilst using marker is inevitable :))

Day one of fmabuary!!!

I wasn't quite sure what to do for this, because I found it like two hours ago or something. I have a lot of favourites right now, and am just getting back into fan art tbh, buttttt then I thought of Pokémon and how Alphonse would have all the kitties (not all drawn I'm sorry) so I thought I would draw this :)))

Looking forward to this challenge, but I might not post them all the time and most will probably be doodles because I don't want to burn out ☺️☺️
