The pose is supposed to convey a sort of "Eureka!" moment, pushing her mad scientist vibes. In the foreground is a sort of table with a chain clipped to it and some hanging pipes/wires from the upper edge of the canvas. The background holds a table covered in books, vials, and a loose bandage. There's a window showing off the dark sky outside. The lightsource is an overhead light that is just barely out of shot, yet casts Felice in a dim glow.
