Here, have some cursed images of my stop motion fresh figurine. part 1
here is the animation if you still didn't watch it:
my name is rev, but im also fine with kaycee. for a long time ive been wanting to get into the long furby, not too long after seeing the strange æons long furby video, but never really got around to it. i dont have much money atm but im thinking about trying to customize 2 of my 3 furbies(youll see why i wont customize the 3rd one when i show her) and maybe recording the process? i was wanting to know about tips and tricks for making my own furb.
i got this guy i wanna say before the pandemic started, but it could have been immediately after, either 2019 or early 2020. funnily enough the day they arrived in the mail, we had very unusually stormy weather for my area. i took their skin off pretty soon after i got him, and all the little parts are in a ziploc. theyre a 2012 furby, which i didnt realize at the time but he has a digital face. i do not know if he works or how to get him working. my main worry is if theyre unfixable, is there a way to customize the face by taking out the digital eyes and making my own? i dont know jack shit about electronics so if i did have to fix them theres a high chance i just wouldnt be able to.
this is a 1998 furby my friend got me this christmas that i am planning on longifying. there are plenty of tutorials online, so i have less to say on her, but any tips are welcome
this is the one i will absolutely not ever customize or diy in any way, aside from maybe removable accessories. i got her for 10 dollars at an antique shop that has since closed and later found out hes worth over 100 dollars on most ebay listings. he is my special treasure, and i love her just the way she is. why am i sharing her if im not gonna customize her? i dont want him to feel left out :(
other stipulations:
i would only be able to record if my parents old video camera still works. i cant afford a fancy one and theirs is pretty old and the battery might be shot.
cost of materials may be expensive, im on a small town that is quite literally on an island, and we have one art store with limited fabric options. most stuff i need will be stuff i have to order, unless i can convince my friends or family to get me stuff from joannes and ship it up to me.
timewise, i dont have much free time. all of my classes are very reading-intensive, and i like to at least be able to skim the readings. for school credit im also doing community service at least twice a week, and really the only days i have any free time are wednesday and weekends, and if i am successful in my job hunt those days will probably be taken up as well.
lastly i think at least one of my classmates might try to kill me if they find out im making them, but i think i can deal with that
I’ve been kinda inactive cause I got caught up in my college work again :///
Anyway here’s a new sona ref since my other one is kinda old !!
More art coming this summer i swear

Washed and fixed up one of the 2005 emotronic furbies!
Her name is Oz Ginny. I have decided her interests include scented candles and elephants.
