It’s interesting to me how the interpretations of Ms. Swift are so much better deduced by people who hear her songs on the radio, or whatever, (you get me), versus my own ones…a longtime fan and genuine supporter for almost two decades; one who has studied and like - lip synced the absolute shit out of EVERY SINGLE SONG in this woman’s discography since 2008 and analyzed her PR game like a game of mother fucking scrabble…

I see this PR strategy with Matty as the next step in this era. It almost feels to me like when Miley went wild to shatter her association with Hannah Montana.
Is Taylor stepping out with Matty akin to this…a clear message to the fans that she’s not concerned about their opinions as she once was, by “dating” someone as controversial as Matty?? Is Taylor stunting with Matty the equivalent of Miley’s beige clad ass disaster of a twerk??
After all - Midnight is the technical end of the day, or - the end of the era. Al the clock imagery…time’s up on the former TS brand???

I’m somewhat surprised Matty’s involved, but leads me to believe they are scheming something BIG.

Both have seventies motifs - I noticed the similarities instantly. And then of course, the 02 performance in London.
What’s going on here?? Secret best friends with vigilante plans?? Or, are they truly in love? I’ve wondered for years if they’ve secretly been together, that the bearding was for them and not actually Karlie.

And my guess - this stunt lasts a few months at best. Taylor is knowingly tarnishing her reputation by letting herself be seen with Matty. Let the public slander her for that, and when there’s a messy breakup around the end of summer…

Just making some observations regarding the WB on the CD liners, and a sample of kk’s writing. I think parallels can be drawn between the letters - obviously you could argue either side. Personally, I notice similarities in the Bs (both look like “13”s to me) and the strokes of the w and v certainly compare IMO. I think this person has at least similar penmanship anyway to kk. So I’m calling out Karlie as William Bowery 😃 she went out west during the pandemic, and helped our girl create the folklore story and narrative and perspectives and aesthetics 😊😊😊

For ex. robbers is/was her favourite song (matty dedicated it to her once when she was in inaudience), it is about passionate love destined for doom, Taylor “knew I was a robber”; Matty “just sat in self pity and cried in the car” when his love didn’t work out, Taylor “cried like a baby coming home from the bar”; matty “bite your face to spite your nose, 17 and a half years old”, Taylor “cut off my nose to spite my face” “it’s like I’m 17 nobody understands”...and for a stretch... matty in girls “a pair of frozen hands to hold”, Taylor “lost my gloves” (double work there, Carol ref also). And those are just ones I can pick off the top of my head without thinking too hard or actively listening for parallels. When you reference the band and especially the song playing when you were reputedly caught making out with your BFF...ummmmm? 👯♀️😘
