Dogs and Sparrows, a band of Humans and Monsters
ough ok ive been working on this for like 2 months anyway time to show off my ocs like a proud parent
left to right it’s tiff (human) morgana (Dullahan) art (vampire) jess (human) and zaid (ghoul).
they’re an emo punk band in the great year of 2008, and the name of their band is based on a grimm fairytale called the dog and the sparrow. I’d explain why but it’s a long story.
there’s a lot of little details and easter eggs in here that if prompted by one (1) person i’ll explain in horrific detail
anyway alt versions, click and zoom in for better resolution :)
This galactic ghoul, captured by our Hubble Space Telescope, is actually a titanic head-on collision between two galaxies. Each "eye" is the bright core of a galaxy, one of which slammed into another. The outline of the face is a ring of young blue stars. Other clumps of new stars form a nose and mouth.
Although galaxy collisions are common most of them are not head-on smashups like this Arp-Madore system. Get spooked & find out what lies inside this ghostly apparition, here.

Shuffling his feet through rubble, the remainder of his aged and irradiated mind tried to piece together who he was. These ruins brought a word to the forefront but he couldn't quite place what it was, it's meaning lost to him but the feeling it elucidated flowed through his body and made him feel comfort. The radio crackled and he hardly flinched, his reaction time blown away with the bombs. The song playing through the speakers of the radio brought to mind a woman's face, one who he would have recognized if not for his feral state. A sudden tiredness fell over his shriveled form, and he laid down contendedly.
"Daisy
Daisy
Give me your answer, do
I'm half crazy
All for the love of you"
With his final thoughts, he had a moment of clarity and was able to discern the word that the place and song reminded him of
Home.
Day 4: Radio

My attempt at Kaneki, blue pencil quick sketch then put the Pen to it. Go easy on me, very rusty & have really no experience with Anime. I love it & Tokyo Ghoul is so Fucking awesome.
Spot illo for the Casting The Runes rpg, which is inspired by the writing of M. R. James. The artwork was an attempt to mimic the style of illustrations from Edwardian period. This particular illo depicts the creature described in Canon Alberic's Scrap-Book.
'There was black and tattered drapery about it; the coarse hair covered it as in the drawing. The lower jaw was thin—what can I call it?—shallow, like a beast’s; teeth showed behind the black lips; there was no nose; the eyes, of a fiery yellow, against which the pupils showed black and intense, and the exulting hate and thirst to destroy life which shone there, were the most horrifying features in the whole vision. There was intelligence of a kind in them—intelligence beyond that of a beast, below that of a man.'
